We have been to wonderful 5 Star Hotels in our lives, but this is the first time that we have been to what is classified as a 4-Star Hotel. I certainly have to say that we were more than a little bit shocked. I have been to 2-Star hotels that put this establishment to an abominable shame. The room was sweltering hot and the only way to cool it was to sleep with an open window, so that the freezing temperature outside could balance the nightmarish heat. TV's were the size of picture frame, rooms are small, wall plugs are inconveniently placed. The only saving grace seemed to be the bathroom, which had a beautiful bathtub, which I could not wait to soak my severely sore back in. What happened next was most unsettling. As the tub began to fill I noticed that the water or a liquid that closely resembled urine distinctly contrasted the white porcelain walls of the basin. I almost lost the contents of my stomach, as I had just used this same water to brush my teeth and rinse my mouth moments earlier. I called the front desk and a nice young man came to inspect the abnormality. The best he could do was offer me a key to a room down the hall where the water did not appear to be tainted, so that I may have a clean place to bathe. It was too late to make a larger issue of this inconvenience. The following morning, we came to the desk to return the key with a keyring that must have weighed 5 kilos for the spare room and see what the hotel intended to do to rectify this problem. Interestingly the girl said that this is something that had happened in another area of the hotel, not related to guest rooms, and said it resulted from some type of heating problem within the hotel. I explained that it was disgusting and we needed to be moved to a room that was sanitary. I was a bit shocked that it required a great deal of coaxing and prodding for her to find another room to send us to.

Great location.. Only 5 minutes walk to nearest metro station.

We were told breakfast was included when we arrived at the hotel only to be told when checking out that we had to pay an extra 52€ for it.

Conveniently located for the city, train station, and conference center, and a nice hotel on a reasonably quiet street. Good breakfast. Recommended

Occasional internet 'pauses' (no service) for perhaps 60 seconds or so, but no big deal.

The room was very clean. They did provide a fan after much complaining about the hot room. My wife liked the shampoo.

The advertised air conditioning was not working. The room was very hot and noisy when the window was open because there was no a/C. When we requested a quieter room, we were told it would be 14 euros more/night. Breakfast was VERY expensive (14 Euros each). In Paris it was 6-8 Euros. We ate at a little cafe around the corner for 6 Euros. The shower was barely adequate and there was no way to keep the floor from flooding. The tub, in which you had to stand, was very narrow and slippery with no grab bars. The TV in our room did not get CNN or BBC, although our friends room did. We were told it was an issue with the cable provider????

Hotel gives wrong info about room square on booking.com site! Standard room is max 11 m2, not 18, and superior max 13 m2, not 25, as shown in description! The same with hotel rate - all hotel's brochures shows 3 stars instead of declared 4! And it really looks like 3 stars hotel. Windows transfer every sound into the room from the street, because of bad insulation. I also found woman's bra under the bad. It is located a little bit far from the center.

Staff were great. Very clean and quiet. Restaurant next door (B. Bleu) is fantastic. Breakfast was terrific.

Hotel staff were really nice and professional. All was really good nothing to say. Will use it again if I am going back to Lyon I will hardly suggest to use this nice small hotel.

It was important that hotel provides parking space in the underground garage, because parking in Lyon seems to be scarce and expensive.... Also, one can benefit from good location of the hotel-just across the bridge to the very heart of the city....hotel services were ok...no bad comments at all....

Provision of Tea making facilities in rooms would be a big plus, and in time provision of shower cubicles instead of shower over bath would greatly facilitate use by older clients.Climbing in and out of a slippery bath is difficult and sometimes dangerous for the elderly and perhaps the not so old.

Nice location in convenient distance to conference center and metro stations. Friendly staff, clean room, big bathroom, decent breakfast.

No complaints, really. Receptionist at arrival insisted on speaking French with me, but that's to be expected in France.

A very friendly receptionist. A clean and comfortable room with seamless wifi. The breakfast was more than adequate and the parking was convenient. The hotel is right next door to a great restaurant and in easy walking distance to Les Halles, a paradise for gourmands. The Rhône river is also close by and its a marvellous spot for a stroll or cycle and for kids to play.

The airconditioning did not seem to be working but we slept with the window open.

Ventilation in our bathroom didnt work. Bath tube was quite small, but ok.

1/ Le lit de bébé n'était pas aux norme. Le matelas étant plus petit que la structure, notre bébé ne cessait de se retrouver coincé. 2/ On entendait bcp les bruits de l'exterieur (anniversaire samedi soir).

Een net, gezellig hotel. Goede prijs-kwaliteit verhouding en een centrale locatie in een rustige buurt. Fijne badkamer, modern en met een goede douche en bad.

Het is vrij gehorig.
