The location was definitely the best. We were close to the sacre coeur, a lot of tourist shops, entertainment (Moulin rouge) and restaurants. There were a few super markets in the area too. The cafe from the movie Amelie is close by too. The hotel is undergoing redecoration and out room was the last room to be done.
This hotel is close to the red light like district so there are a lot of sex shops and clubs that cater to that. We didn't mind at all but it may not be to the liking of everyone. There was no kettle to use outside of breakfast hours. Breakfast was on the small side but sufficient and tasty.
The hotel is in a very good position, close to the metro station and in a nice area with lots of restaurants and shops.
The street is a little bit noisy and the room is a bit old.
Inside expectations. Almost on Pigall. Not so big room but room, bed and bathroom were very clean. We didn't have breakfast as we were looking forward for great patisserie near by. 24h receptionist so late check in was not a problem.
There was very strong smell of mold in the bathroom, I would say from sewerage system, as bathroom was in excellent shape. Having door closed (trick is to lock them from bathroom side) eliminated the smell from room. Remember to explain cleaning lady/man to properly close it, after he finish cleaning the room.
The location was very good, near metro, bus, taxi, restaurants and market. I felt safe in/near the hotel and it was very cheap for Paris. The breakfast was great for 6 euros. Everybody was nice and helpful. Shuttle service at 4 AM with the hotel to Orly airport was only 36 euros( and that's for 2 people) and it was on time. Will definitly stay again there.
Staff: Very friendly and helpful. Gave us a map, circled main attractions and tell us how to get there in short time. Always ready to answer all of our questions. Location: Very good. Just few steps from metro "Piccadilly"(2 metro lines) and bus station, it was easily accessible from all over town.. Room: Very clean and fresh towels everyday. Small, but if you plan to just enjoy the city and come for sleep, it's just you need. Breakfast: Reasonable value for money (6 Euros). We would choose it the next time when travelling to Paris:)
Bad Wi-Fi connection in our room. Speed was not for surfing. even hard to browse Facebook or News. Power sockets (220v) only 2 and only near TV.
close to hop and go bus and tourist bureau
Great location with Metro handy and a selection of dining experiences within a few minutes. Shuttle to airport booked for us by staff and it arrived on time. Helpful staff.
One bed was saggy. Small room, but I guess that is Paris.
It was clean and the staff were very helpful.
Noise from outside, tiny room, shower curtain was useless, no Do not Disturb card in the room, lift was just enough for 2 people with cases, not inspiring. The area is seedier even than I remembered.
Friendly, helpful hotel staffs, clean and nice rooms, really good location
After taking a shower whole room and corridor were full of water there was some technical issue about plumbing system and it happened at the night time. There was no repairman and night staff had no idea what to do. He gave us towels so we tried to dry floor around 30-45 mins. I suppose nobody wants to clean up the room while they are having holiday :D
Nothing at all!
The hotel was dirty, double room was probably a single, no space whatsoever. The place was filthy and uncomfortable. The staff did not help with anything. Spend a little more money and stay elsewhere because this is definately not worth it!
Sounds of construction yard opposite to my window
The breakfast was on extra charge bases, while you can get BB in other hotels at the same price.
Staff friendly and helpful Breakfast OK Close to buses, metro
Bedroom floor sloped Painters accessed our room without advising us Sound of flushing toilets so loud and frequent at night Noise from next rooms annoying
Staff were all helpful and friendly and all spoke English to a good standard. Rooms were very clean and fresh towels everyday Breakfast was reasonable value for money 6 Euros
The double bed was a bit small but to be honest any budget hotel would be the same. You had to leave your keys at reception when you went out and collect it on your return. However if the reception staff had changed by the time you came back, it wasn't clear to me how they knew you were genuinely the guest. I never felt unsafe once in, but I wouldn't leave any valuables in the room.
close to metro station big toilet area staffs are generally helpful
noisy at night, its located in the red light distirct!? many sex toys shops nearby wifi is slow n requires log in everytime it disconnects itself
Close to Montmartre and to Pigalle metro station so easy to get anywhere in Paris. Musicians might like to know that the hotel is on "Guitar Street" so there are many music shops well stocked with every kind of instrument on this street and others nearby. Plenty of eating places and a small bar and a boulangerie close by. Excellent breakfast -- very good value at 6 euros.
Wi- fi hard to connect to.
Staff was very friendly and helpfull. Location is very good, just few minutes from metro and bus station
Noise from street. Even with closed windows it was quit noisy
The hotel is very simple but the location was great, our room was clean and tidy, and staff was friendly and helpful.
The walls between the rooms are a bit thin, you can hear your neighbours. But the fact that the room was kept tidy and clean did overrule this minor defect.
We stayed 10 nights at this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, they gave us a map and circled all main attractions and were ready to answer all of our questions. The room was a good value for money and was very clean every day. The location was the best of it. With 2 metro lines and buses it was easily accessible from all over town. We would choose it the next time when travelling to Paris:)
The only thing we didn't like is that the “double“ bed was two single put together so there was always a gap in the middle which was quite uncomfortable.
The hotel has an excellent location.
If you have a room next to street, it would be too noisy.
Under renovation very noisy..very upsad the front staff (specky) liar regarding shuttle to paris gare du nord..he says driver charge 40 euro, after arrive drive want charges 70 euro..
Undergoing renovation. Repeated Power failures. Noisy neighbours.
Location, Cleanliness, readiness of staff to assist
The really tight space of facilities: room, elevator, stairs
The room was clean enough and we got toiletries refilled every day. We had heating and this was nice as we had bad weather. The location is very nice, very close and walking distance from Sacr Cour.
The first impression you get when you arrive is not very good as the front desk was messy, dirty, and was being constructed, there were construction men working with hammers and plaster, and this was strange when we got there. The staff was not very kind to us, some of them tried but they were not as nice as we would of liked. The room and beds were very very small and this was not so comfortable. The bathroom is tiny, the shower is very very small and it is not comfortable because of this!
The location, a nice restaurant nearby, metro nearby, etc.
