This was probably the best Campanile of our trip to the South of France . Although the menu was Campanile's new menu and therefore similar to the others , there was a greater choice of both entrees and deserts , also many more extras ( eg. Huile d'olive , nuts , sauces ) . If you are staying in the same chain throughout a holiday the menu tends to lose its appeal . This Campanile reminded me of the 'old' Campaniles where the menus reflected the area you were staying in . Room smelt a bit 'unaired' when we first went in but I guess it was the end of the season and after leaving the door open for a while it was fine .

breakfast They didn't have the two rooms we booked through Booking.com. They said they were overbooked. They then told us they did have another room it would cost us an additional 28 Euros to book it. They did this two nights running. Not impressed at all.

We stayed four nights and got to know the hotel and staff well.The staff are friendly and co-operative and will certainly help when there is a problem. The bathroom shower and facilities are very good. Instant hot, powerful water jet from shower. Bath fills rapidly. Food and waiter service good. Hotel location well situated for a touring vacation around the region. Downtown Saumur is easily accessible. Hotel poorly signposted – keep going around the Roundabout until you see the Hotel Directions/Sign. On the ground floor, the noise of people and cars is annoying – try to get an upper room. If the Hotel is full – some meal courses may not be available. Again, if the hotel is full, your Room may not be changed before 3.00 pm. Overall, remember that the Hotel is part of a group of Hotels and probably therefore caters more to the needs of, say, Budget Travellers..

le service au restaurant trop long, dans la chambre la télé tnt qui ne fonctionnais pas deux télécommandes pour gérer la télé et tnt , faut passer aux ecrans avec tnt incorporé!!. odeur de la salle de bain dans la chambre très très désagréable.

J'apprécie le calme de cet établissement, situé loin des grands axes routiers. Rappeler au personnel de chambre, qu'il faut frapper avant d'ouvrir la porte de la chambre, même à 9 heure. Cela ne s'est passé qu'une fois, mais fort désagréable pour les occupants qui sont peut-être en position intime !

La chambre n'avait pas était nettoyée après le dernier occupant. Lit avec draps déjà utilisé ainsi que les serviettes, la poubelle, etc. Ce genre d'erreur ne devrait pas arrivé. J'ai du reprendre une nouvelle chambre au distributeur.

Le buffet est très agréable. Les petits pains aux céréales à la coupe sur planche, c'est original pour un Campanile. Le personnel est sympa...Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Campanile qui mériterait un bon petit coup de jeunesse...Un peu vieillot dans les chambres malgré les nouvelles literies (Ouf!)...Wifi et décodeur tnt pas au top...

- Literie excellente (matelas/sommier) - Chambre de plain pied (pas d'escalier à monter pour les gens qui se déplacent mal) - Situation géographique par rapport à la ville - Parking suffisant en place et à côté des chambres. - Restaurant cher pour ce qui était proposé en carte ou menu - Aucune recherche gastronomique - Nourriture quelconque - Petit déjeuner cher (9€) - A 8h30, plus de yaourt !

Séjour très court une nuit bruillant car véhicules stationnes a cote des chambres .grand lit tres bien mais avec 2 matelas donc niveau confort pas top cuvette au milieu du lit sinon personnel agréable

Tranquillo, essenziale, ma confortevole, piuttosto comodo al centro di Saumur anche se ci vuole l'auto. Ottimo per una tappa di passaggio.
