Hotel Solara  

Eftersom vi bara skulle sova på hotellet så fungerade det alldeles utmärkt. Läget kan inte bli mycket bättre.

Väldigt lyhört även om vi hade tur och det var tysta människor omkring. Hissen funkar bra att skicka upp packning med, men själv tar man helst trapporna.

Detta lilla familjehotell ligger högst upp I ett 5 våningshus en tvärgata upp från Promenade Anglais. God service, familjärt och vänligt.Absoult ingen lyx,rent,snyggt.Det var underbart att bo uppe bland takåsarna med utsikt över staden uppåt mot bergen.Bodde där under lågsäsong, bullernivån kanske stiger med mer folk på gatan. Prisvärt!!

Ta bussen 98 från flygplatsen och hoppa av vid Casino Ruhl så har Du bara 5 minuter till hotellet. Bussarna går var 20e minut...Tur / Retur Perfekt.Ett centralt läge på gågatan i bästa läge för shopping och resaurangbesök. Åt Din frukost antingen på hotellet eller varför inte på något trevligt ställe på någon av de många restaurangerna i närheten. 100m till strandpromenaden ger möjlighet till svalkande dopp. Passera på vägen till stranden och köp Din baugettefavorit och en flaska rosé och bara njut av stunden. Vandra över Mazzzéna torget och på 10 minuter är Du i gamla stan där priserna på en god meny lite lägre men absolut inte sämre kvalité. Varför inte ta Dig över höjden bakom gamla stan. Passa på att se panorama utsikten innan Du begrundar anikviteterna i skuggan av parken. Allt detta har Du inom gångavstånd från Solara hotell. Personalen gav oss all denna information på ett trevligt och bemötande sätt. Rent och snyggt på rummet med nytt, frächt badrum. Rekommenderar såklart det lilla dubbelrummet vi två hyrde med gågatans vimmel under oss.

The staff at Hotel Solara were amazing from the moment I arrived. The hotel was located a block away from the beach and had many eating options just outside the front door. The breakfast was delightful and delivered to my room each morning. As I was travelling alone, the single room was quite small, but totally saved by the fact it had a gorgeous little open air private balcony - as the room was located on the top floor, the view was amazing. It was very easy to find from Gare Nice Ville, a small walk and a tram to the end of the road. Perfect. They helped with local advice and even with my future travel plans. If I ever make it back to Nice, I will staying here again for sure!

Excellent location right in the center of Nice,lots of shops and restaurant down the street,2 minutes from the sea.The hotel is on the top floors of an old building ,room with a nice little terrace for breakfast and beautiful view on the town,design is modern and simple and brand new,really quiet (i was on 5 th floor,not on the street )and clean.A really good surprise,definitely worth the price.

Location, location, location and a terrace. Very friendly staff. Small homely feel. Fantastic location right in the centre of Nice, close to everything including the sea. Very comfortable and clean. Lovely if small terrace overlooking Rue de France.

Buidling a bit shoddy and the lift is tiny and in sore need of renovation. Room, while very clean and comfortable is in need of redecoration.

Location was very good. A small fridge was convenient. I liked that cosy room with a nice balcony,

Everything was perfect during our stay there - comfortable, nice design, clean, friendly staff etc. Location is great - easy to reach all attraction. Will stay here again if visit Nice again.

Love this hotel it's family owned! My room was simple but was clean & tidy! There is a little balcony that you can look out onto the street. The room made me feel French! The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was spacious for French standard. It's located on a popular street where there are many restaurants, pharmacies, bakery and clothes/shoe shopping. Promenade de anglais is less than a 5min walk. Old town 15min walk. Bus station to go to Cannes or Monaco 10min walk. The train station is a 10-15min walk. Thierry and son were friendly, helpful and accommodating. Price wise this is very affordable and in a fantastic location!! Would definitely stay here again.

Walls are thin. Can hear street traffic at night. If you are a light sleeper then this might not suit you.

Shower without a door and light, floor covering, a terrible smell in the room.

Location! In the pedestrian zone, this hotel is close to all the attractions Nice can offer. Our room had a rooftop terrace on which our breakfast was served each morning. With air conditioning and bathroom with shower and hairdryer and tv all basics were taken care off. Staff friendly and helpful, especially with arranging a taxi to airport when buses had gone on strike. Although rooms were clean they were not large and had limited cupboard space. Entrance is unusual and lift very small. As a base for a holiday in the area it met all expectations
