The pool on the roof of the hotel was a bonus albeit small and not very clean. I didn't think the hotel was up to a 4 star standard. The rooms were small, no tea/coffee services, small bathrooms. Generally a bit shody. |

Staff were helpful when asked to move room. Second Deluxe room well proportioned and good shower. Nice to have a balcony that could sit out on. We chose the hotel because of the pool - we had stayed in the neighbouring hotel before and used the pool but when we arrived the pool looked dirty and was full of newspapers so we never actually used it. Breakfast was good but expensive - local cafe was much better value. The Spa was an excellent experience. First room was overlooking the main road. Lots of traffic noise and shutters broken so room noisy and too light at night. Hotel staff knew this was a problem with the room but still put us there. Provided you don't mind the walk into town the hotel is fine though pricey. |

The harmonie room was a decent size as was the bathroom. The window shutters helped to keep the room quiet at night (it was next to a road) and the air conditioning was very effective. The staff were very helpful. The roof top pool and jacuzzi were very handy and have a good view over the city, and it is only a 5-10 minute stroll down the road to the beach. The bar is very expensive, even by hotel standards. A round of drinks were even more expensive than in Iceland. For the same reason we didn't bother with the hotel breakfast as there were plenty of cheaper cafes down in the area. Also, it would have been nice to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room. |

Our room was wonderful - big, airy with all the comforts of home, plenty of wardrobe space - tea & coffee replenished daily. Clean towels every day. The swimming pool was lovely and clean - breakfast was lovely up on the 8th floor with the stunning views to look at and the cleanliness of the whole hotel was absolutely magnificent. It was only a short walk to the beach and all the amenities - there was a supermarket just 5 minutes walk away and a lovely shady park. Was only fifteen minutes walk to the railway station - we could not fault anything in the Hotel. a marvellous weeks holiday. Only that on the 8th floor, you should invest in some pidgeon spikes to go round the wall where people are eating their meals or drinking outside. In London the spikes are everywhere to stop the pidgeons landing and bothering people while they are trying to eat or drink |

In my 35 years of travelling/holidaying, I am most dissatisfied with the this hotel. Aircon was not working in 3 of 4 days. To add to our woes, the reception staff appear not just indifferent but irritated when I followed up previous requests that has been unattended. Total lack of customer service orientation. Food is very expensive even by Nice standard. I will never never stay in this hotel Aircon not working and arrogant attitude of reception staff. Our safety also compromised. 1St night hotel staff told us safe to leave window/door to balcony open to make night tolerable; next night another staff told us "anything can happen" as property outside did not belong to hotel. Swimming pool so tiny my daughter was never able to use it as it was full all the time and no available chair.IN My judgment, this is not a 4-Star hotel |

Nice balcony in our room, view from the bar and pool was beautiful, good location. Roms were scruffy, restraunt expensive compared to others in the area, bar was very quite -no atmosphere and was left waiting to use the spa despite booking it. |

The hotel was relaxing and very comfortable with friendly, helpful staff. The roof provided a pool and jacuzzi with area for sunbathing and bar/meals and a cool place to enjoy a late night drink. |

Staff were excellent.Location as regrads beach and shopping and going out at night was fantastic. The outdoor pool was tiny.We paid a significant amount extra to get a deluxe room and altough the room itself was lovely we were located on the 7th floor directly below the restaurant so when 6.30am came the noise of moving chairs and tables over us was just awful! No sleep in's for us. |

The room was a good size, very comfortable and very clean with a large balcony. The bathroom was very well equipped, power shower, jacuzzi etc.,as we had paid for a deluxe room. The hotel facilities were very good(swimming pool, bar, restaurant). The staff were polite and efficient although little more than agreeable. |

We only stayed one night, the room was fine and check in from 12noon suited us well. The sheets were so stiff they rustled loudly when I turned over (not good for a light sleeper) and the pool didn't have quite the panorama we were expecting - you couldn't see anything from inside the pool, only from the poolside chairs. Pool was a bit on the small side. |

The location was brilliant. I also liked the roof top spa and pool (Tiny though and again in need of an update) The hotel was definitely not a four star. We had damp on our walls and the decor was very dated. It was comfortable enough but in dire need of a revamp to charge the £150 a night fee (This was a discount rate at that from booking with yourselves) |

Overall ok hotel. In need of refurbishment, but staff friendly & helpful. Roof terrace restaurant ok, but no gourmet experience hence def no value for money.Overall rating of hotel would likely be closer to 3 rather than 4 stars.. |

general comfort and ambiance, very good view from bar balcony. service in restaurant and bar excellent. whilst It did not apply to us I think the bath/shower could be a little more user friendly for someone not as agile, very narrow high bath not easy to get in and out of, also restaurant food not great. |

The restaurant was excellent at this time. The spa is also excellent but really requires advance booking. No. I have stayed there several times and always find the staff extremely helpful and the hotel pleasant. The only downside was the invasion of an American tour bus! |
