The location was brilliant. I also liked the roof top spa and pool (Tiny though and again in need of an update) The hotel was definitely not a four star. We had damp on our walls and the decor was very dated. It was comfortable enough but in dire need of a revamp to charge the £150 a night fee (This was a discount rate at that from booking with yourselves) |

Overall ok hotel. In need of refurbishment, but staff friendly & helpful. Roof terrace restaurant ok, but no gourmet experience hence def no value for money.Overall rating of hotel would likely be closer to 3 rather than 4 stars.. |

general comfort and ambiance, very good view from bar balcony. service in restaurant and bar excellent. whilst It did not apply to us I think the bath/shower could be a little more user friendly for someone not as agile, very narrow high bath not easy to get in and out of, also restaurant food not great. |

The restaurant was excellent at this time. The spa is also excellent but really requires advance booking. No. I have stayed there several times and always find the staff extremely helpful and the hotel pleasant. The only downside was the invasion of an American tour bus! |

the SPA is the greatest memory of the stay.It was so relaxing and the service was also nice. Internect connection.If WIFI is available, that would be better.But even without that, I think this hotel is quite nice. |

Location to promenade For the rating of the hotel I would have expected the jacquzzi on the roof terrace to be heated, I would have expected greater choice of movies and cable TV as well as complimentary tea or coffee making facilities. |

we have stayed at the Splendid Nice a number of times and have found it to always be a wonderful facility - the beds are comfortable, the restaurant is excellent and the staff is quite professional - our favorite place to stay in Nice. |

Close to beach and train station about a 10 minute to each. Had a pool. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Asked for adjoining rooms and they did not give us adjoining rooms and they did not let us know in advance they could not accomodate us so we had to split up with our children. Hotel rooms were very dated. Air conditioning did not work in one of the rooms and only marginally in the other room. |

I was extremely annoyed that for 3 of the 5 nights which I stayed the air conditioning in my room was not working.i raised this with hotel staff on 3 occasions and was told that it was being worked on.it eventually did start again but was totally inadequate in the heat.as a result we were unable to sleep at night nor spend any time in our room during the day.as a result I felt that the holiday wa |

Mostly everything. People using the swimming pool adjacent to the roof bar at past 23.00 at night slightly ruined the lovely roof bar atmosphere. Otherwise it was lovely. |
