Staff people are friendly and competent

The hotel is situated about 10-15 mins walk from the city centre however trams stop immediately outside. The rooms were immaculate, the beds were very comfortable and the staff were friendly and attentive. Lovely bath / shower.

Very good situation, just outside the city centre but at walking distance or the tramway stops just in front and for only 80 cent you can get into the city centre. Breakfast is fine, quiet place to sleep, free wifi, late check-out time, very clean rooms,...

Nothing

Hotel good value, standard rooms are small so but worth paying small amount extra for larger room. There is a tram stop immediately outside the hotel, regular service into city centre which takes about 5 minutes, so not worth driving into the city.

Very easy to find, polite helpful staff, good breakfast, nice room and bathroom. Well located for centre of Lille, just 2 stops on tram or 15 minute stroll. I would stay at this hotel again.

The location was great and the tram stop right outside took only a couple of minutes to get to Lille town centre.

The look... The cost....(relative!).... It's location easy(ish) to find very conveniently placed to get into Old Lille either on the tram just outside teh hotel or by foot - 15 minutes.

The photos on the photos on the websites sort of give it all a bit more of a grandeur than it has in reality.... But it was fine.

The hotel suited our purpose of a city break with access to local parks and canals plus the city centre being in easy reach. The reception staff were very helpful

Breakfast was expensive!

Clean nice sized rooms, great decor, the staff were helpful even though we couldnt speak french. The garage was a bit hard to find, maybe I sign wouldve been nice, otherwise no problems really, breakfast was good as well.

The hotel was a bit cold, and the breakfast room wasnt designed to well, one person could get breakfast at a time from the buffet table. Rooms had a view to parking lot, nothing to boast about

Very Close to Eurostar station and cose to Od Town (15 min walk)

Road noise in roadside rooms - asked to move rooms in middle of night. Very small buffet serving area in dining room. No room for more than one person. This has been noted in reviews since 2009 so perhaps its time it was changed....

Quite quirky in the Art Deco style. Good breakfast.

It was an Ok hotel with reasonable good standard and not very far a way from city centre. Quiet nice area.

The car park is nearly impossible to access for a largis saloon car. Damage to the vehicle is a real possibility due to very restricted entrance

Very friendly and helpfull staff. Room clean and had all facilities we needed. Breakfast ample and good. Bar area is very relaxing. Location good as only 2 stops to centre. We stayed at hotel 6 years ago and choose hotel again as we were very pleased with facilities. This time was no different. We would definitely recommend hotel and hope to stay again in future.

Can't think of anything we did not like

The tram stop just outside the hotel helped to get to the centre more easily. The hotel was clean and tastefully furnished and the breakfast, bought at check in for 9euros, was a fair price. A tea tray for the room was given on request. As I had booked two rooms for single occupancy, we were given adjoining rooms with an interconnecting door. Lifts to all floors and air conditioning were good to have.

There was no English TV channel in the room, although this was advertised - pity as it was the Closing ceremony of the 2012 Olympic games. There was little to do around the hotel - the station and centre were within walking distance but there was a maze of main roads which made this virtually impossible.

The location was great with the tram right outside the door (Romarin). Very quiet location in fact no noise at all with a Tabac next door and a small supermarket. The room was made up promptly every morning.

Although it was advertised as free coffee/tea facilities this had to be requested at the reception and consumed there. It turned out that i was actually charged as well for the coffee i had despite the card in the room stating this was gratruatie. The water was cold on a couple of occasions in the evening just as i was getting ready to go out so had to have a cold shower.

The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room was a nice size and tastefully decorated. It had air conditioning! Lobby and bar area were very nice. Staff were friendly and helpful. We walked into town each day and it took about 10 minutes but the tram stop was outside of the hotel so coming and going was easy.

the fact that it is Art deco and the fact that you only have to walk 15 mins to the Vieux Lille ! great

It was fabulous to stay at; spacious room, clean and traveller friendly. Staff were friendly. The hotel was an easy walking distance to the stations and to the town centre. Fabulous!

Breakfast was a trifle pricey.

The entrance to the garage is almost impossible to enter with a car.
