Hôtel des Tuileries is close to the center of Nimes near the famous Arenas de Nimes. It offers comfortable 2-star accommodations in a peaceful setting.
Score from 221 reviews Excellent
The hotel is right next to the train station, which I particularly wanted as I was arriving quite late. That said, I wasn't disturbed by train noise at all. The room is comfortable (albeit small) and the wifi is very good and reliable.
The room is small, which was fine for me, as I was travelling alone. It might be a bit of a squeeze for 2 people.
The location near the station suited us, as we were travelling on the next day. We did not need 5star rooms as we were only staying overnight, but the room was simple but very clean and comfortable, with plenty of hot water. Breakfast was very good value. 8 euros for cereal, fruit puree, milk and yoghyrt, plus cheese, cold meats and croissant and baguette. Our hostess was very friendly and took the trouble to provide us with information for seeing the sights of nimes before our train. Would definitely reccomend, particularly for comfort and value.
Terrible smele in all hotel
taking into account my arrival during the night relationship with the staff
size of the bedroom level of comfort
The hotel is in a wonderful position to explore Nimes and for anyone who has a car includes parking. It's situated on the boulevard that runs from the train station to the Arena and is only minutes away from the tourist sites. Rooms are large and clean if not basic but value for money.
Wifi was a little intermittent but not a big issue.
shower, bed and wifi facilities, perfect for a quick stay and ideal location for central nimes and train station
Location was excellent
Carpets worn down on staircase. Bathroom very small and bathtub too small to use for any mature adult. Generally the hotel is somewhat worn down and needs a re-furbishment.
The proximity to the station and central Nimes. The pleasant people on reception made us feel welcome.
Breakfast was Ok but not terribly exciting. The cereal choice was very limited. Ventilation was a problem as if you keep the window closed you block out the street noise but end up feeling rather stifled. No airconditioning could be a problem in the summer unless it is centrally operated.
Booked last minute, very cheap price. Lovely place to stay.
Shower head wouldn't stay on, but apart from that nothing went wrong
We arrived by train so it was great to see the hotel as we came out of the station. A lovely stroll up a vibrant boulevard to the arena and the old town. Good breakfast and pleasant staff.
Its location and cleanliness.
The worn decorations and noise.
The location of the hotel is great very close to all amenities. even if close to the train station, the room are very quiet.
the infrastructure of the hotel is quite old, no free parking close to the hotel, only few car in the private parking.
Close to the Nimes center, nice breakfeast.
very warm in the room for a summer night, there is no air conditioning, as we arrived the window was oppend so a lot of mosqitos were bothering us that night. we sleeped very badly. if you open the window there was a lot of noise. Few parking places. The Tv cable was broken.
Easy to get to trains and buses
location and price.
Being deceived by the photos on booking.com They were not the same for what you get. Internet did not work in the room.
good location. The hotel looks better than others on the same price range. good dark curtains to ensure darkness in the room
the mattress was very very old, not supporting the back at all and with springs everywhere so I had a very bad sleep. also, small room, cheap and not too well functioning sliding door at the bathroom.
All the rooms smells like cigarette .. No confort i dont recommend this hotel.
great location in front of the train station
Good location 50 m from Nîmes Train Station and a few hundred metres to the old city. Room was clean and functional. Free WiFi. Hosts very helpful. Continental breakfast was good value. Sports Bar next door with Free WiFi.
Location right by the train station and staff who could not do enough to help us. They have recently taken over the hotel and have plans to update facilities. Good breakfast.
Too much furniture in one room. We are a couple but were given a room with wall to wall furniture in large part due to two double beds. Wifi worked slowly and not in all parts of our room.
Staff lovely and hotel was very convenient for the train station and the historic centre
The rooms where very small and did not have air conditioning
Good hotel.good value for money
room 18 was a bit on the small side with two quite large suite cases
The management took over 5 months ago and has been trying to improve the hotel. They are friendly, helpful, and hard working. The location is great for Nimes and for day trips to Avignon, Arles, and the Camargue.
A fan is OK, but air conditioning is needed in summer.
Staff courteous & helpful. Wifi easy to access. Spotlessly clean. Sure it's not called Hotel Terminus for nothing. It's only a few mins from station. Easy to find if arriving by train The room was small but adequate. There was double glazing and I could hear train announcements but didn't worry me too much.
