Very close to both the train station and petite france area Friendly personel, giving touristic info and tips Keeping your luggage after check out Good wifi connection
great location, excellent breakfast, friendly stuff.
room was very small and there is some problem with bathroom.
Very short 5 min walk to train station. Tourist area (Petite France) is 10 mins or so. Room was a good size by Euro standards, clean and comfortable. Elevator was nice to get baggage up to 4th floor. Front desk staff were quite friendly and helpful.
Hotel is on a pedestrian way so parking at best is a 100 yards or so if you are lucky to find an open spot on a nearby street. The pedestrian way is noisy at night. Even with the windows closed we could hear loud talking etc from outside. This could be an issue if you're a light sleeper.
Location is excellent. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly.
Noisy in the street during the evening. Room too warm. Could open the French doors to the street to cool off but that made it noisier.
location kind staff clean and cozy
This was a great choice for convenience (only a few minutes walk to the train station) at a very reasonable price. The room was comfortable and clean. The person who greeted us was very kind. We arrived very late and left quite early and felt safe enough in the neighborhood. Were able to get a late night meal to take out to our room at about 10:30 just outside the hotel door.
LA ATENCION DEL RECEPCIONISTA AL LLEGAR
Very convenient (300 yards) if arriving from railway station. Appeared to be smallish hotel but stylish and fitted comfortable ensuite bedrooms into awkward shape hotel exceedingly well. Small breakfast room but everybody seemed to find space at small tables with good selection of cold buffet. Bright hotel spotlessly clean. Good value for money.
Some people might find lift (for 4 people only without luggage) rather tiny. Small flight (4 steps) of steepish stairs on 4th floor. But circular stairwell easily accessible and well-lit and easily useable.
This hotel is an easy walk from the train station and an easy walk to the sights. The staff were courteous and helpful, the room was clean and sufficient. Breakfast was very good.
friendly staff, close to the train station, close to the city center
not enough time to enjoy our stay, since it was a business trip..
Proximity to station and the old town. Free wifi
The all night street noise
Not having electricity during my only stay + no internet (not working properly due to electricity even when back on). But I had no expectations so I'm not disappointed.
My stay at the Victoria was grand, with great staff, great breakfast and a clean and comfy room.
Good location - very easy to find from the train station and not far at all from the old town. Slept very well, the room was functional and comfortable but nothing more. Lovely staff - I got a bit confused with prices and currencies thanks to the way the price is given on the booking.com reference, but the staff were very gracious with me trying to question it in my less-than-perfect French. Got an excellent price with a deal.
The rooms could do with a little more personality. The extractor fan in the small, windowless shower room didn't work.
Friendly staff, excellent location (the train station is 1-min away on foot; the city center is 5-min away by tramway), very clean room. Good value for money!
The neighbouring street can be loud at times if windows are open. Windows are sound-proof when closed otherwise.
The hotel was a 5 minute walk from the train station, 5 to 20 minute walk to the sites, shops, and fine restaurants. Cozy room with shower. Nice breakfast buffet for 9€. Comfortable bed and pillows. Very clean. Helpful staff, spoke English well.
People in the street yelling till the wee hours. Tiny elevator, but good enough for two with bags.
2 minutos from train station
The hotel was so close to the train station, so need need for a cab. Also, the car rental (which we were picking up after 3 nights in Strasbourg) was right there. There was an excellent breakfast, and not at all over-priced. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the room (shared by two women) was just right. We would highly recommend the Hotel Victoria for any budget-minded traveller. However, the front rooms may be a bit noisy (on a busy pedestrian street) so we had asked for one of the quieter rooms, which was just great.
Very small room, with windows to noisy street, very small bathroom...
Lack of air conditioning
Receptionists were delightful
Convenient location, very near the station. Free wifi. Good value for money. Comfortable, clean and spacious room. Friendly and helpful staff.
Have to return key to reception every time you go out.
The room was okay. Nice and clean. Breakfasts were usual.
Wi-Fi wasn't working.
The room is very comfortable and I like the feelings.
Rooms on the 5th floor could not be accessed by elevator.
excellent location - 5 minute walk to Bahnhof railroad station and 10 minute walk to tourist sites;very clean hotel;didn't use breakfast as I was off early;bakery 2 minutes away, restaurant and patisserie next door
get a room in the back of hotel as the front can be noisy in late evening and early morning by street cleaners, garbage trucks and late night frolickers
