Fairly basic but comfortable stay. Ideal for an overnight stop on route. Loads of parking and very friendly staff. |

The hotel was tidy, with a charming 'backyard' [complete with cherry tree] and our studio room was great for our family of 4. |

The hotel is run in a very laid back way and is therefore a pleasantly relaxing environment. It is an easy walk from Hotel Voltaire along the canal/river path into the heart of Rennes (30 - 40 mins) and it is also very close to the bus route to & from the centre (No.19 bus). The old part of Rennes itself is well worth a visit and the food at the city's market will make any British eyes water! There was some work being carried out to some of the rooms when we stayed there - but this has to happen some time and it didn't really inconvenience us in any way. |

I instantly felt at home in the neatly furbished room- very cozy! Also that it is in the outskirts of Rennes- a big plus in my opinion for its relative quietness. It is unfortunately not as soundproof as it said in the description. |

The hotel is in a built up area not rural. The price when tax was added is rather high. The resaurant 'next door' closes at 7pm, |

Secure, under-cover parking for my motorcycle. I was concerned about the poor cleanliness of the room. I also had to tell a group of youngsters to be more quiet in the next room at 02:00, which they did. |

Convenient location for me in Rennes, staff helpful. Hotel appeared to be largely shut down, very little lighting in hotel on stairs. |

When we arrived at 9.45pm there were no staff around - our name was on a blackboard telling us which rooms had been allocated. We had expected two adjoining rooms with interconnecting door. However, the rooms were not interconnected, so we had to split our two children up between us as they were reluctant to be on their own in a strange hotel bedroom. The breakfast was pretty average too. |

The hotel was easy to access from the motorway and very convenient. Breakfast was good. Private parking. A 'family room' was two 'double' rooms next to each other not connected. The beds were described as 'large' but this meant that they were doubles not singles - they were rather small double beds. Our girl 12 and boy 10 were not very happy about having to share a bed. Rooms were in the attic and were really small and listed as singles on the hotel price list. Bar was closed and nothing nearby |
