We were very disappointed that the studio we had booked a month before had been given away to someone else.We were left with 2 small rooms and no kitchenette, which we needed as there were no restaurants open locally. We and our children ended up without supper. |

We stayed in a separate apartment which was spacious, equipped (except for kettle), comfortable, private and quiet. Plenty of parking. Not really a dislike - city centre is a 25 minute walk, so be prepared for that. |

Quiet and staff not imposing yet helpful when required. I have suffered an extremely bad illness in the last year and have found extreme relaxation whilst at this hotel, both alone and now with a partner. |

We liked the box size. The room size was ok too. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice. Decoration is a little bizarre. |

comfort, price, quiet place,.....everything except... staff didn't talk english, not so good location but if you buy ticket for metro and buses it is not so bad(take bus number 19 i think and go down at "champion sisse" and then just 50m up to the hotel) |

Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was very sunny and clean, nice and quiet location, just a bit far from the city but still accessible with bus. Nothing around the hotel, at less 10mins walk to a small supermarket nearby. |

It was a quiet hotel with lots of privacy. The people who work there are very nice. We played tennis there, that was also pleasant. The rooms are very clean. The bar has a good atmosphere. It's not always open though. The only minor detail is that they say that the hotel is near the center, but in fact it's in the suburbs. It takes 20 minutes by bus to reach the center. That was misleading. But the rest was excellent! |

Owners were friendly, room was fine, quiet location with plenty of off road parking & not to difficult to find. Advertised as having a restaurant which in fact it doesn't have. |

Lovely hotel, even though just outside a fairly industrial zone. only problem was we had booked a family room and ended up with 2 doubles. so had to split up. not an issue with ut being a stop over. but could be a problem for longer stays. |

Very quiet residential/industrial neighbourhood. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds, ample parking with a small grassy yard and terrace. TV worked well, and internet was free but a little sporadic. Decor was worn and dated, but it could be considered charming. Staff was friendly and helpful, although casual and sometimes hard to find. Excellent value for the money. We booked a family room, but we were put into two double rooms instead. |

We were made to feel very welcome initially. We enjoyed the quietness of the surroundings - it's in a 'pocket of Rennes' that feels more countryside than town. Our room - a double - while small was in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained, bathroom excellent, bed very comfortable and plenty of pillows. The chambermaid service was excellent, with new towels every day, as was the room cleaning itself. All of the staff were extremely helpful. We should have preferred to take the hotel with us rather than leave it behind! All in all excellent value for money, beware though it's a bus ride (€1.20) or fifteen to twenty minute walk in Rennes centre. Only some uncertainty about bar opening times and availability of meals. |

The hotel was tidy, with a charming 'backyard' [complete with cherry tree] and our studio room was great for our family of 4. |

The hotel is run in a very laid back way and is therefore a pleasantly relaxing environment. It is an easy walk from Hotel Voltaire along the canal/river path into the heart of Rennes (30 - 40 mins) and it is also very close to the bus route to & from the centre (No.19 bus). The old part of Rennes itself is well worth a visit and the food at the city's market will make any British eyes water! There was some work being carried out to some of the rooms when we stayed there - but this has to happen some time and it didn't really inconvenience us in any way. |

I instantly felt at home in the neatly furbished room- very cozy! Also that it is in the outskirts of Rennes- a big plus in my opinion for its relative quietness. It is unfortunately not as soundproof as it said in the description. |

The hotel is in a built up area not rural. The price when tax was added is rather high. The resaurant 'next door' closes at 7pm, |
