Hotel Voltaire

ステゥディオタイプを借りました。ミニキッチン、冷蔵庫、電子レンジがついていたので、フランスの食材をス- ーパーで買ったり、日本食を調理したりしました。洗うのが面倒くさいので、紙皿、紙コップを持っていってよ- かったです。（食器はありました）ホテルの棟とは少し離れたところにミニハウスがあって、そこがステゥディ- オだったのですが、泊まるというか、住んでいるいるみたいな感じで、フランス初の夫も喜んでいました。連泊- しましたが次の日の朝はちゃんと掃除にきてくれました。広々としていて、快適です。サッカー観戦が目的だっ- たので、スタジアムまで歩いてのんびりいけるところも魅力的でした。他の意見でまわりに何もないとありまし- たが、一番近くにパン屋があって、少しあるくと、朝７時～２１時まで空いているスーパー、もうすこし歩くと- ルクレールがあって超便利です。しかもこのときは１泊１部屋６０ユーロという安さでぜひおすすめしたいです- 。

WIFIの電波がステゥディオまで届かないので、ホテルまでいかないとパソコン持ってきてもできません。あ- と、ベッドは確かに大きなベッドとシングルベッドがありますが、シングルはソファベッドでかなり小さいです- 。４人まで確かに可能ですが、２カップル×２とかで行くと、ベッドの良さが全く違うので快適度にかなり差が- でます。

We were very disappointed that the studio we had booked a month before had been given away to someone else.We were left with 2 small rooms and no kitchenette, which we needed as there were no restaurants open locally. We and our children ended up without supper.

Staff friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, good towels, comfortable bed and wifi in the room.Freshly squeezed orange juice at breakfast.

Room was small, no kettle/coffeemaker etc. in the room.

We liked the box size. The room size was ok too. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh orange juice.

Decoration is a little bizarre.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, room was very sunny and clean, nice and quiet location, just a bit far from the city but still accessible with bus.

Nothing around the hotel, at less 10mins walk to a small supermarket nearby.

Price very low for a clean, well managed hotel. Staff very friendly

Owners were friendly, room was fine, quiet location with plenty of off road parking & not to difficult to find.

Advertised as having a restaurant which in fact it doesn't have.

Very quiet residential/industrial neighbourhood. The rooms were very clean, with comfortable beds, ample parking with a small grassy yard and terrace. TV worked well, and internet was free but a little sporadic. Decor was worn and dated, but it could be considered charming. Staff was friendly and helpful, although casual and sometimes hard to find. Excellent value for the money.

We booked a family room, but we were put into two double rooms instead.

We were made to feel very welcome initially. We enjoyed the quietness of the surroundings - it's in a 'pocket of Rennes' that feels more countryside than town. Our room - a double - while small was in excellent condition, very clean and well maintained, bathroom excellent, bed very comfortable and plenty of pillows. The chambermaid service was excellent, with new towels every day, as was the room cleaning itself. All of the staff were extremely helpful. We should have preferred to take the hotel with us rather than leave it behind! All in all excellent value for money, beware though it's a bus ride (€1.20) or fifteen to twenty minute walk in Rennes centre.

Only some uncertainty about bar opening times and availability of meals.

Strange decor - Please remove the figurines,shoe shining seat, sports equipment etc from the Hall,landing,stairs and breafast room - most disagreeable.

The hotel is run in a very laid back way and is therefore a pleasantly relaxing environment. It is an easy walk from Hotel Voltaire along the canal/river path into the heart of Rennes (30 - 40 mins) and it is also very close to the bus route to & from the centre (No.19 bus). The old part of Rennes itself is well worth a visit and the food at the city's market will make any British eyes water!

There was some work being carried out to some of the rooms when we stayed there - but this has to happen some time and it didn't really inconvenience us in any way.

The hotel is in a built up area not rural. The price when tax was added is rather high. The resaurant 'next door' closes at 7pm,
