Huttopia Versailles  

Very close to the Versailles palace. Very quite. In the forest. Only 3 minutes by car from supermarket. Every morning fresh croussans at the reception (plain, chocolate or apple). Only 1 Euro.

Loved our stay here - we had one of the caravans which could have been bigger. Fine for the two of us but would be claustrophobic with 4 people esp if the weather was bad. A small supermarket holding basics would have been welcome as the nearest one was a good walk away. Perfectly placed for Versailles only a mile down the road where parking was easy. Nice family atmosphere with a good sized if unheated pool. Snacks available until 8pm which was good. We would upgrade to a larger hut next time if we tried a different site while travelling through France.

Not really a complaint but a small supermarket would have been welcome selling bread , milk and basics.

It was very well placed for discovering Versailles/Paris by bus, train or walking. Huttopia Versailles was relaxed with available food, drink, books, games & swimming pool. It was just right for what we wanted. They were even flexible about us arriving late.

On balance there wasn't anything as it was a short stay

The location of huttopia meant we could easily access train links to Paris and also easily access Versailles itself.Although a busy site , I didn't feel that my privacy was compramised. A relaxing place to be after a busy day sightseeing.

The site seemed disinterested in visitors security. The accomodation could possibly do with a safe for visitors use as doors and windows were easy to access.

Staff were kind and friendly. Pool area was great. Restaurant was excellent considering its in a campsite. Highly recommended

Noisy neighbours drinking and singing until 1am.

The camp site is well laid out. Very friendly and helpful staff. The cabin is adaquete for a stay, its basic and we found the mattress's for the beds very thin we also had to ask for extra pillows but overall we thought it was excellant value for money. The location is excellant with buses and trains a short walk away and also supermarkets. The immediate area is short on places to eat but again the supermarket has everything you need. The site is in a lovely setting and very quiet generally. Would recommend.

The beds were very basic and the mattress's were very thin and quite hard. We also had to ask for extra pillows but were not given pillow cases for those. There is a micro wave but no oven or toaster so you cannot cook a proper meal or beans on toast. The shower did fluctuate with the tempreture but again this is a camp site so we expected that. We had to change our train time because we couldn't check out until after 8 A.M. and the cabin had to be inspected but this process was fast and easy.

Het personeel was erg vriendelijk, behulpzaam en begipvol.

WiFi is slechts de eerste 24 uur gratis, en de self-serve espresso was gewoon koffie van van de bar voor 3euro. Huisjes zijn extreem gehorig hebben geen tv.
