I had made 2 separate bookings, one for one night, one for two nights, I was assured that the one would flow seamlessly into the other, it didn't, there were various problems. There is also no way of the staff knowing that you are occupying the room other than hanging a privacy notice outside which meant I twice had people attempting to walk into the room after a brief knock. I had supper at the bar one night, I asked for a second glass glass of the same wine, a Sancerre, and was given something completely different by a different waiter, they insisted that it was the same, it wasn't. I was made to feel foolish. The bathroom smelt as if something had died in there, the wardrobe door didn't close properly, the phone by the bed didn't work because someone had left messages that couldn't be erased and to stop the red light blinking it had to be disconnected. The noise of overhead planes was very loud. I paid a lot of money to stay there and I feel very annoyed about that.
I had one good meal although it was a buffet and cost €92 with half a bottle of wine. I'm not sure it was worth that much but it wasn't bad.
