In central Nîmes, this hotel is just minutes from the train station, the Arènes Roman amphitheater, and the town’s main square.
Score from 417 reviews Very good
Situated close to the TGV high speed train station in the heart of Nîmes, Hôtel Cesar is on Avenue Feuchères which leads directly to Les Arènes de Nîmes (Roman amphitheatre).
Score from 356 reviews Good
Le Cheval Blanc is in the historic heart of Nimes, across from the Roman Arena and a 5-minute walk from Nimes Train Station. It has rooms with private bathrooms with air conditioning.
Score from 1037 reviews Very good
Adagio Access Nîmes, is in the heart of a completely renovated district, near many offices, shops and the train station.
Score from 594 reviews Good
Good location near the centre of the town & only 5 to 6 minutes walk from the railway station. Helpful staff on hand at all times. Room was the usual Ibis style but the bathroom had a real bath. Good breakfast in the morning as well.
The lights in the room were pretty cool. Everything worked and there was an English TV channel,
A bit sterile and modern.
Very good location for people traveling by train. The room was very clean. The hotel is near to the old tow. Nimes is cosy and beautiful city
Excellent location its just across train station but you cant hear any noise from outside when you close your room window, helpfull and friendly staffs, good breakfast it is just that the fruits of our 1st breakfast are not fresh but the next day it is served fresh so nothing to deal with, probably we would come back to this hotel on our next trip.
we just needed somewhere to break our journey from lake como to tarragona ,this hotel was spotlessly clean , location was really of no interest to us but the station is just across the road
we could not readily see any restaurants to be fair we did not look to far
Location. Very close to the train station
Not enough counter space for two people. Air conditioner is set standard at 24 degree and is very hot. Can't get good sleep.
Convenience, efficiency of staff, especially appreciated list of TV channels. Good breakfast.
Being woken by loud announcement at Nimes Gare!
Convenience to train station & supermarket.
Great Location close to Train Station and within walking distance to town center. Carrefour City just opposite of the Hotel. Rooms are nice and clean.
Location, cleanliness, breakfast, staff
I wouldnt suggest it for long stays as its essential furnished. But I knew that when I booked so its fine.
It's convenient to walk anywhere in the city. Nimes is such a cosy and beautiful city. You can see fountains and water everywhere, especial in the evening when all lights on, the water along the main street changes its colors......
Free parking, ticket machine out of order...
it was rather hot at night and the air conditioning was blocked centrally
I was very happy I had booked a night at the Ibis in Nîmes. It's literally right across from the train station, with buses and car rental stations right next door. My room was clean and comfortable. The furnishings have a zen like simplicity. Although the train station was directly across from my room, I slept well. The hotel seems sound proof. I would definitely book again. Nothing could have been more convenient. Exit train station, cross a small plaza and you're there. Pleasant staff too. Very reasonably priced.
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was simple but had everything we needed for our stay in town. We did have breakfast during our stay and quite reasonable. Char, Aurora, CO USA
Location excellent! Caught the airport shuttle and it stopped right outside the hotel and to the train station too! Parfait! Very clean and the beds snd pillows were really comfortable. It ssys what it does on the tin. Excellent value. Would recommend.
As a solo traveller having the shower in the same room wasnt a problem but might be for non couples. Would love ibis to have kettles in their rooms. Machines are inadequate 5 floors down!
Helpful and friendly especially Cindy
Box like but good value for the money, clean, secure with a good shower and tolerable for a day or two.
Lift wasn't working on check out day. No refund if you changed your mind about dates.
Very close to train.
Water not clearing in shower- not fixed after reported.
Very helpful staff. Clean, hygienic and good location for the centre and transport
Location, close everything, ease transition to train
The hotel is just behind Nimes railway station, making it extremely convenient for anyone arriving or departing either by rail or using Nimes airport---the navette runs from outside the station
Ibis seems to have adopted the Ryanair approach to setting out its stall. The room, though spacious with two double beds, was needlessly spartan. It's as if Ibis is trying to say "we told you it was a budget hotel, what do you expect?" In that context the room was not especially cheap for single occupation
Clean room, good wifi & comfy bed.
A weird shower in the room with no privacy door but was ok for us. Parking will cost an additional €8 overnight. (Most expensive Ibis Budget I've stayed in so far in France).
Cleanliness, efficiency. location and price.
Internal walls are thin and soundproofing within hotel let down the excellent external system that kept station noise to the minimum.
Very good location next to train and bus station with a pleasant walk to the central area along a pedestrianised tree lined avenue. Staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are comfortable and quiet - we were surprised on opening the window how noisy it was outside.
There was nothing we didn't like. If I was being really picky I would say it would have been nice to have more than one towel each but it is a budget hotel and we thought it was excellent value for the money.
