Good reception service Cleanliness Comfortable stay
Good hotel according to the price of the room. The bus 24 takes u to the heart of paris and pass close to the hotel. The breakfeast is very good.
Very good and well mannered staffs. Would recommend a well worth stay. Nothing out of the ordinary. Please is clean. However the towels are a bit vinegary smell.
+ price + shopping centre right next to hotel + easy to find, 10 minutes from metro
- a bit noisy in early morning - only 2 towels in triple room
Cheap but clean Next to a mall
Not near Metro and bus system is hard Keycards never worked in door
Good Rooms Nice Bath Tub Quiet Place Wifi is good Friendly Staff Next to Carrefour Supermarket
You have to walk about 1 to 1.5 Kms ( 10 to 15 Minutes for metro. you are travelling relaxed or you plan well is okay.
only the the room price.
-no phone in the room -staff don't give information or enough information -takes ages for taxies to come, the hotel should make arrangement with taxi offices. -breakfast should be free -there is a machine that sells calling cards but can't use those card in the hotel phone box i had to go outside and there was no phone box around the hotel and no staff could help. -my room was a triple room but my bathroom in room 290 was like baby ones(too small for me) -when i got there i was given a card and no one took me upstairs to show me around and i stayed about 10minutes in the lift trying to go upstairs not knowing that i had to use the card i was given for the lift to carry me upstairs until an other guy came in.your hotel staff are not helpful at all. -i missed my breakfast the first day because no one told me that the restaurant closes at 10.00am -the second day i got there at 9.30am and was told that my restaurant just closed bcz there were 2 of them and mine was the one that closes at 9.30am.i was ashamed and disappointed. believe me or not i will never go back to that particular hotel.
the staff at reception gave us a warm welcome. They also supported me in planning my trip which was too good. Real value for money , had a pleasant stay :) Location very near to the bus stop ,easily accesible from gare de Lyon The WC was clean and tidy.
Room was pretty small
Basic room, clean and enough space for the baby's cot. Just what we needed for a weekend in Paris as we didn't want to spend much time in the room anyway. Staff very helpful, breakfast was great. Shopping centre right next door which was handy.
Not close enough to walk to metro, but only 2 stops on the bus - very easy, even with the children.
Distance to Paris
The pictures were misleading. We thought we were getting a fairly decent room but it looked like a ratty motel. Not at all what we were expecting. We had to take quite a few showers because the room made us feel dirty. We didn't know the French didn't believe in using washcloths. We would have brought some. Then the parking was horrible. The garage was small and had 1 entry/exit. The key card didn't work to actuate the door to open. Had to press the intercom button several times before someone answered (in french) to open door. We felt trapped. There were bums in front of the hotel and a man tried to sneak up on my husband when we were packing up the van to leave. He came in the garage after he saw me and my 2 younger children enter the garage. He must have thought I was alone.
This hotel is located in Charenton-le pont near a big Mall and at 20 minutes by Bus # 24 from the Gare de Lyon where you can take all your connections to the historic sites of Paris. From the Gare the Bus # 24 stops at the Parc de Bercy in Charenton -le pont, in front of the Hotel. Please do not confuse the stop Parc de Bercy with Bercy which is an area near the Gare de Lyon. We were first advised at the office of tourism Paris in the Gare de Lyon to walk 10 minutes to the Hotel because of that confusion. The correct hotel phone is : 33-14977 5555. We did love the hotel, its wonderful staff, its cleanliness and its comfort.with a strong Wi-Fi connection in our room. From the hotel we were able to visit Notre Dame, Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Champs Elysees and other historic places in Paris by using Paris Tours Bus. Thank you, Simon Miami, Florida, USA
No ac so room was hot and muggy all night. Very old and run down facility. Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a better hotel and enjoy Paris
We have booked 2 rooms in one room ac was not wworking. We informed at reception ,they sais that they will change the room but later told it will be fixed but it wasn't. We had a bad stay at this hotel with temp touching 30 degrees.
You get what you pay for. We knew we were only being a place to sleep for 2 nights and that is all. We slept well, and awoke rested. If you're a metro fan a bus ride and one out two metro stops and you're at the center of the attractions. Not recommended to walk to metro. We had a car but tried the metro day one and waited well past midnight for the bus back to the hotel. Took the car day 2 & 3! The parking garage was a real plus. As well as the free WiFi..bonus!
Hard to find initially. Not close to metro rail. No frills whatsoever! But we knew that going in. Only 2 towels on a triple room didn't make much sense but staff quickly brought extra. Sketchy area of town. It is simply a bed, tv, and Wi-Fi. Not for the high rollers.
Cheap, clean, private parking
There is a smell on the holl ways, like their is no fresh air
wasn't aware of Ibis budget, knew the regular ibis, did a mistake. No aircon was there but wasn't put on . temp. outside were 28 C
Terrible. Roaches I the floor, smells, blood stains in shower
Everything, NEVER stay here.. This is your warning
The location very strategic, easy transport to the center city. Staff very helpful. By side with carefour market. Easy to find food and everything
rude staff (some of them) faulty credit card machines dirty bathroom
It was value for money and location was good
A big shopping mall is just around the corner. The location is good for going to restaurant (mcdonald, sushi, chinese food, also carrefour supermarket). But if you want to go to city center, you need to take bus for > 20 min. The subway station is 10 min walk, a little bitter far away and it is difficult to find the walking way. overall, the hotel provided worth the money you paid.
the price is best
the space is too small
