DECENT BREAKFAST REASONABLE PRICE CLEAN AND TIDY COMFORTABLE BED NEAR THE METRO
NO CHAIR IN BEDROOM STAFF HAD LIMITED ENGLISH
great room, perfect base for exploring paris. 2 minute walk from saint mande metro.
Very close to Metro, quiet sleep and clean.
Young staff at the desk wasn't very polite, checking their mobile phone and not saluting customers.
The hotel is not far away from the Port de Vincennes metro. The quality, it´s the same as other ETAP´s I´ve been in, clean, new and simple. If I went there I would repeat in the same hotel
Location is too far from the city. Size is too tiny.
Wi-fi. Thats all.
Room smelled, especially the toilet. Room didnt have amenities specified in brochure. Breakfast leftovers of previous day?
·location ·wi-fi ·spacey room ·excellent value for money
·toilet had a bad smell
1. Near to metro station (Saint-Mandé) 2. Excellent wifi 3. Calm area 4. Near to grocery shop where you can get drinks, fruits or snacks.
The hotel is within a walking distance from the underground station, bus transport is a bit complicated, there is a direct bus from CDG airport but for some reason it runs near the hotel only Tue-Fri, otherwise it takes a different route, the staff sent us to a bus stop which was not served on our day of departure because it was a public holiday. The breakfast was good for the price, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and milk and juices, cereals, fruit salad, croissants and French bread. There are a lot of supermarkets and cheap pizza and china food places around.
On the first day they kept replenishing breakfast all the time but the other days, they ran out of croissants and Danish pastry and only the bread was left, the same for cheese. At times, there was no coffee or water for tea, it probably depends very much on who is in charge. Although we booked a triple room with a baby cot (3 adults and 1 baby) through booking.com, when we arrived, we were told the maximum occupancy was 3 people irrespective of age, but the receptionist pretended not to see we were that many. There was a deposit of 30Eur for the cot, which was not in our room and we had to arrange it on the spot. Given the fact that there was no information in English, we first understood it was not a deposit but a fee. We also had to ask for some bed linen into the cot and a third towel, because the room, although equipped with 3 beds, had only 2 towels. When we showed our booking confirmation with info about services, the receptionist said that it was incorrect and the hotel had different conditions. The toilet was a bit smelly and there is a shower box instead of a bathroom so one has to leave all clothes in the room otherwise it all gets wet. There is no room for storage of suitcases, to put your clothes in or anything, it is only a place to sleep, not to really stay in for a longer time.
Staff was friendly. Price was reasonable
Location Bed is comfortable
Reception staff not very welcome No remount control for TV Shampoo and soap contener was empty
Nice 2 star hotel. Near place for parking. Metro just 5 min. walk. Good breakfast.
It was good , best value for money.
Bathrooms and lavotory didn't have locks . that was uncomfortable for a group of friends like us.
Clean The area is safe also, and there's a supermarket nearby.
comfort and cleanliness of room free Wi-Fi copious breakfast
24-hour parking rates only from 12-12, not practical, should be 24 hours from arrival time. Plastic cups for breakfast tea and coffee.....should be proper china for €6 ! Room/shower very small for couple +child
The reception does not speak english.
They had a storage where I kept my luggage till night time after check out
The hotel feels like a hospital.
THEY ARE EXCELLENT... GOOD STAFF FOR EVER...
We stayed one night in Paris. It was nice but took a bit of time to get to the Eiffel Tower...the room was...interesting. Initially we were presented a room that was basically a bunk bed in the middle of a bathroom: shower and toilet on the right and sink on the left. The door to the shower had no handle so we couldn't open the door...needless to say we requested another room. They were very accommodating. We were ushered to another room that was more spacious and had a self-contained bathroom (everything in one place behind one door). Well...we found out why it was more spacious: turns out it was a room for handicapped guests - with wheelchairs! I didn't really mind though. It suited our needs just fine. Plus, the decor was a nice green. And the bed was so comfortable we all fell asleep right away and enjoyed a wonderful nights rest. Just a word of caution: the area is just a tiny bit sketchy if you are a lone traveller but its a 5 minute walk to the subway station. And if you can stand to save €20, please take the train from the airport instead of a cab - we got hoodwinked! Money much better spent on delicious macaroons from the corner spot across from the Eiffel Cafe!!! Overall it was not a disaster. An ok clean comfy place. Go for it if you want better than a hostel and can live with no frills!
We could have done without the broken door in the first room for sure. That just showed poor customer service and no attention to detail. Just a callous attitude towards presenting guests with the best quality possible. So, essentially better service would have been nice.
I got a room with a big discount ~50%, there is nothing in Paris for this price. You are getting everything in the room with a minimum of furniture. Night lighting of the walls was really nice.
Firstly, I was given with a room that was not cleaned. Second room was cleaned, but not precisely enough, it was really dirty under the bed for example. Not a good smell in a hall after cleaning (that is common for Paris).
Room was modern and very clean, not very small (minimal lenght but quite large), warm, pleasant. Comfortable bed. Good location at 4 minutes walk from Saint-Mande metro station on line 1, direct connection to Notre-Dame-Louvre-Concorde-Place de l'Etoile. Nice staff. Good WiFi in the room.
No wardrobe, only few hangers (hard to manage the clothes).
