directions to hotel
Sufficient for 2/3 persons, not much space for roam around in the room, but ok ok. Suggestion: Take note of parking location allocated for the hotel, it is on 3rd level underground
Location is not much good, Electronic chip card for rooms as well as lifts. Sometimes it is not working, add to frustration.
Wifi Supermarket next door
I would recommend this hotel for anyone booking a trip as a practical joke, for psychological experiments, or by governments who want to submit prisoners to cruel and unusual punishment on foreign soil. I enjoy an occasional visit to the sauna whilst on holiday, but I do not expect my room to be constantly humid and hot, with no way to get any fresh air. I complained to staff three times and nothing was done. On each occasion they failed to give me any sort of update. Staff solved the problem for themselves in the mornings by opening all the fire exits on the floor (perhaps not the best idea for a hotel full of children). Unfortunately opening the fire exits only helped cool the corridors, and only helped to cool the room temporarily whilst we lodged the door open and lost our privacy and security. The shower drain was blocked so we could only have very short showers without flooding the room. I hate to think what gunk came up from the drains. Someone had a bad grandpa (cross between a shart and a paint job), on the wallpaper by the toilet. Seriously, why have wallpaper by a toilet, have you not heard of tiles. I doubt the cleaning staff are paid enough to clean that sort of thing. In fact I know they aren't, which is why they don'T. The window blind was broken so it was permanently closed. We never had any day light, and if we didn't have to escape the room regularly to cool down and get fresh air, it would have felt like living in an underground bunker. The staff appeared to hate their jobs, probably because all they ever seemed to do was deal with customer complaints and have to watch the prostitutes and pimp who were based meters from the hotel entrance every night. The staff dealt with their stress by taking regular smoking breaks, during which time we could not approach them to discuss our concerns. I paid to park in the basement and a member of staff told me clearly that I could leave and return as many times as I liked within the allotted time.
Distance from metro to hotel was great. Staff spoke some english. Very close distance to supermarket and other shops.
Weak air conditioning.
Nice room and cheap price.
The hotel was in one of the pour and very dirty places in Paris and sometime my friends and I were a little bit afraid about our safety.
Everybody could speak English. Very Friendly. Normal quality for good price . It's realy fine for ONLY to sleep there, and to be the all day outside. Location is okey-the metro was near bij- just a 5min.walk. I would stay there again!
The window could not open,no real ventilation. The breakfast -brr! Very very bad! Very poor breakfast. I will never take breakfast there. No normal bread, only sweet cake or somethink. No real protein(chicken slicez),no bacon -nothing like this. Only sweet carbs(shugar) and fat. It was a big problem for me to find there around in that area where to eat a stake,or vegetables. If you like staff like McDonald's-it's a lot of there. Not for to staying with kinds. Not for people from 50 years old.. no. The pictures on their website are different than it's real. But this is budget hotel.
Sure the hotel is not fancy but it is perfect for a good night's sleep for a reasonable price. There was absolutely nothing I missed during my stay. Breakfast was modest but very cheap. With the metro it is not far at all from the very center. I would definitely stay there again.
You have to log onto the WIFI constantly. The aircon blows out hot air. There are no windows to open. Was told by staff to open room door if it gets hot. Not value for money at all.
The subway station is a bit scary after 11pm it looks like a dangerous place, it is not, but as turist is a bit scary, beyond That The location is good
good price and ok staff.
the locality is not so nice.not so close to metro being at paris.bathroom was poor.walls were thin and noise can be heard from adjacent room.
We were running the Paris half marathon and the location was good for the Metro for the race-Robespierre then change at Nation then to Chateau de Vincennes. Wifi was good
The lift didn't work most of the time including after having just ran the half marathon and we were on the sixth floor. Staff on reception not particularly helpful. Rooms extremely basic and small and not at all like the photos on the website. If you plan on spending much time in the room apart from sleeping it is not very appealing. For us, we slept, showered and left so was ok for the money
Good hot water, soft bed.
Smelly room and corridors. Reception staff lost my booking took ages sorting out. Ignorance night staff. Clearer more helpful then reception staff. Slow lift, and card system kept failing was told by reception that was my fault :s
The location was good for the tube for travelling and the room attendant extremely thorough with cleanliness
Found some staff not very helpful and on occasions rude. Asked for extra pillows for the bed and this appeared to be a problem. Every time went to use the lift, key card would not work and had to be re programmed and also not able to use it in the room door we were asked on several occasions when entering the hotel if we were guests, this we appreciated so people could not just walk in off the street, but being asked by the same person a few times became a little annoying. We asked about viewing another room for upgrading for a future visit to compare the rooms and was told this was not possible and if we wanted to see the room the internet provided pictures this was not acceptable. Entering the restaurant for coffee we were questioned, we were aware we had to purchase them and was reminded by a member of staff we had to pay for the drinks and guided to the counter to make payment the member of staff almost blocked the exit. Going to the bar on the Saturday evening for a drink and ordering 4 drinks 3 drinks identical as we went with another couple to be told they only had two glasses so one had to have a smaller glass when the bar was completely empty. The staff in the bar then informed us that they were shutting and would we please leave the bar and sit outside in the waiting area where the lights were then switched off, this was 11.30pm on a Saturday night. Asking at reception if we were able to use the internet on the computer available for guests to book in for our return flights was told we would not be able to print off the relevant paper work to take to the airport with us this facility should be available as many cannot book in for return flights until 24 hours before the flight. These few issues let the hotel down
This location was less than 5 minutes away from 2 Metro stations, and the value for the money was unbeatable.
The shower rod fell a few times, which was frustrating.
Friendly English-speaking staff, private parking, Wi-Fi, No-Nonsense rooms
Breakfast, window could not be opened, no hair-dryer, Magnetic Keys stopped working after a few hours, not enough power sockets
