Extremely confortable beds, Located in the center of town. Very clean and confortable.
Relatively small rooms
Location very central with secure underground parking friendly and helpful staff - breakfast OK
A bit dated, bathroom tired with worn towels - wouldn't have liked to have stayed for a few days but OK for the odd night - room a bit dark and dingy
Hotel had a perfect location
Parking was not availsble
Very nice petit dejeuner; as well, very nice bed and shower.
Offensive smell in the hallway (1st floor), like cleaning products
good bed clean central location. parking close-by.
room was small
The hotel is very conveniently situated in the center of town. The staff is friendly and helpful.
The parking is very tight and you are not guaranteed a spot throughout your stay. It is easier to park in the nearby public parking lot. The wifi was good, but required logging in every single time, even if you had only been off your computer for a few minutes.
Right in the city centre, walking distance from Insead
The hotel parking is not easy to reach
Comfortable, very clean, free wifi in the room and on the terrasse. Friendly helpful staff. Close walk to the Chateau, bus, restaurants etc.
My initial room was on the 1st floor and the window opened onto an open area- wasn't secure and no latch. But I asked to change and they happily did so.
The location of this hotel was great - close to the chateau, restaurants, & parking. The downstairs was decorated in a cute way. The staff was really nice. Hotel was clean.
The room was very small which was OK, but it should have been decorated better.
The bed was comfortable
Room was recently painted and smell of paint was still present. Staff could not be bothered in offering me another room despite availability of same. Room was poorly cleaned. Especially the bathroom. Carpet was old and dirty
In the heart of Fintainebleau just three minutes from the Chateau on foot. Good facilities and parking secure.
Always having to Log on to wi-fi for each use.
- Location - Cleanliness
Location good for visiting the Palace, modern clean rooms and underground car park in a very busy town.
Breakfast, staff and the location are excellent.
Rooms are very dated and could do with a refurbishment
Stayed one night on a touring holiday. The location was excellent for the town & chateau. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Everything that should work, did work.
10 euros for parking but having said that, it was on-site, secure and had a lift to the hotel.
it was VERY cold in the room (14 degrees outside and it felt colder in the room than outside!)
Near restaurants and shops. Near the Fontainebleau castle. Good matress.
Really basic and small room. No charm. Bad smell in the room. Cold water for the shower. You need to wait for a long time to have hot water at the morning. You need to complain (smell and cold water) and maybe the staff can do something. But it is a basic thing in a develop country to expect hot water at morning in a room for the price of 96 euros, No ? That was the bad surprise.
This hotel is in the centre of Fontainebleau, a very short walk from several good restaurants / bars and similarly from the Chateau itself. As with Ibis hotels in general it was clean, comfortable, functional and suited all our needs at a reasonable price. The breakfast was good and the hotel has an underground car park which is not too expensive.
Having stayed in Ibis hotels before I felt that this hotel met our expectations, so to pick faults would be petty. If I had to single out anything I would say that the reception area needs an update.
Close to the palace and the town centre.
Not enough parking places in the garage. No lift from the underground garage. We carried the luggage two flights of stairs form the garage to the lobby. Only one towel per person. Incorrect booking. After the error was corrected in the system we were overcharged for the second night and we received a refund after raising the issue at the check out. Cleaning staff entering the room every morning in spite of the "Do not disturb" sign being left outside on the door handle.
Unbelievably good value & fantastic location with a lovely garden area to sit in, good size room and bathroom, with excellent facilities best value hotel in a 2 month stay in Europe... Much better than my experience with Ibis in Zurich which was a shoe box. Very friendly and helpful staff, quite redemed France for me.
Proximity to the chateau and also to many shops and restaurants; very furnished breakfast buffet
Location, simple but adequate room, breakfast, quiet
Staff could have been much friendlier
The locations is excellent. Town centre, walking distance from all the restaurants and cafes, market, and château.
The hotel is fairly old. Needs completely refurbishing (walls, beds, bathrooms, etc).
The hotel was very well located, about 3 minutes walk from the main street and the chateau. The rooms were clean and, although not very big, they were perfectly functional for a short stay. The staff were extremely polite and helpful and spoke very good English.
The hotel could do with a ramp at the front entrance to the hotel, as one member of our party is disabled, and found the entrance stairs quite steep and tricky to negotiate.
