Just a 5 minute walk from the historic center of Dijon and 110 yards from the Train Station, Hôtel de Paris features contemporary rooms with free Wi-Fi and a bar with a terrace.
Score from 681 reviews Good
With a 24-hour reception desk, this Kyriad Prestige hotel is located 5 km from Dijon Train Station. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access, free private parking onsite and a bar.
Score from 509 reviews Very good
really close to the train station friendly personnel
Very comfy bed, nice bathroom and helpfull staff. I bought a bottle of wine in a vineyard and I went to the bar just to get a wine glass but the bartender not only gave me the glass but he also put the bottle in a ice bucket and told me for how long I should leave the bottle in the bucket etc. Free of charge! But obviously I gave him a fiver for his nice job.
The free wifi is really slow, if you want a faster internet you have to pay 3 euro per day which is not much.
All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds were extremely comfortable and the breakfast was a good range of fresh food, tea, coffee and fruit. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
We arrived by TGV from Paris and walked 300metres to the hotel from the station. Although we were early, our room was ready. We organized parking at the hotel and returned to the station to pick up the hire car for the rest of our trip. The hotel is within easy walking distance to the historic centre of Dijon and although the hotel overlooks railway lines at the front there is a patio with a pretty garden at the back. We found this hotel to be a good overnight stop on our way to the south of France and would stay there again for the convenience of being close to the station and the beautiful centre of the town.
The railway station view is not a pretty one and the patio at the back of the hotel is a more pleasant place to sit
The Hotel is very convenient to the train station though on the other side to the old town. It is only 10 minutes walk to the old town under the train station. The room was very good, cleaned daily despite my protests to keep the same towels, the cleaners did everything and got offended when I said it didn't need it. They did it anyway when I left!! The staff could not do enough for you. I extended my stay 3 times and even though they were "full", I was able to stay in the same room. Yes it is next to the train station but double glazing meant I didn't lose any sleep.
Wi-fi sign in all the time. Nothing in the room for tea and coffee etc.
Windows that opened! Relaxed atmosphere and friendly helpful staff. Comfy beds. Evening meal well cooked and reasonably priced.
Breakfast a bit pricy although variety excellent. You needed a big appetitie!
We're particularly impressed by the cleanness and convenience of location. Just within 5 minutes' walk to the Train Station. We arrived a couple hours before regular checkin time, but luckily we were allowed to use Wifi and store our luggage. So we could drop down our heavy packs and take a walk into the city before we could check in.
No complaint at all except the rain in Dijon.
Large parking, nice rooms. The overall impression was good.
We had to meet people at the station the following day so the location was excellent for us and only a 10 minute walk from the city centre to look at the sights. As it was on the other side of the railway from the town we also walked past the excellent Botanical gardens which we would have missed if we had been located in the town. The price was perfect for us and the room although relatively basic had all we needed including free wifi and hair dryer. It would suit travellers with a car also as there is free parking. The bed was queen size and very comfortable. We found the staff helpful, and the breakfast was generous. I would certainly recommend the Ibis
That it had a car park Welcoming reception & bar area Nice sized room
Tricky access from car park to reception Walk back from town in the dark was a bit intimidating
Near to station Large room
Confusion over breakfast for tour groups vs individuals
Very good internet connection, the reception is very willing to help. Ibis makes a very good standard with good value.
No complim tee or coffe, no water boiler.
Good location (easy to drive to and only 10 min walk to town). Plenty of secure parking. Friendly no fuss staff.
Shower tray drainage lip not good so flooded bathroom every time we used shower, despite putting towels on floor in attempt to stop. However, appreciate we had been given disabled room (although not disabled) and low/non-existent lip for wheelchair access. Slanted shower tray would help immensely or turn whole bathroom into wet room. We worked around it, but slightly irritating.
Closeness to the downtown, just a 10 minute walk
The hotel was quite full and seemed to cater to bus loads of people making it difficult to eat in the restaurant
Handy for the city. Free parking
Accommodation quite adequate. Staff very proactive. Dinner was excellent. We have upgraded our thoughts on this hotel chain as a consequence of the excellent experience at IBIS Dijon Gare.
No drama whatsoever.
It is a standard mid-range hotel. OK for a one night stopover as it is right next to the station. Very friendly and helpful staff.
It is a little way from the city centre.
As a hotel it worked very well
Hotel is good for a few days, restaurant is ok and staff is friendly.
Restaurant is closed on Sunday evening. Hotel is across the railway, but it's not a problem for me.
One of the most comfortable beds we have slept in for the last 6 months of traveling. Bigger room and bathroom than a normal Ibis. Reception staff fantastic, nothing too much trouble. 10 minute walk to the centre of town.
Restaurant staff a bit hit and miss but food good.
Very clean, great staff and comfy room. A few minutes stroll from centre of Dijon too.
Rooms were fresh, beds huge, very clean.
Infusion, coffee and kettle in rooms.
Good modern hotel. Wifi and parking were good.
It was great to receive a friendly welcome for our first visit to Dijon. It is a beautiful city with lots of things to see. We had a long wait for a late train and were pleased to be able to spend that time at the hotel. It is very conveniently located
When I booked I asked for a room on the interior. They put me in a room at the very back, which was perfect. I have stayed in ibis hotels in France, Spain and Italy and I think that ibis is the best value for the money. You can quote me.
