Location Air cons
Low end of ibis chain Pillows and bedding are very poor Having construction site both in front of and inside the buildings
location air condition shower
bedding construction sites around front till inside hotel credit card drama. have to give details or cards three times for 3 day stay
Too small elevator
The location of the hotel is good.
Two ngle beds put together to form a double bed.
Clean room. Very polite service personal
There is only 1 person for servicing breakfast. So when it runs out of coffee cups or dish plates one has to wait. WLAN qualitiy is not always the best.
The hotel is very close to Gare de L'est, there are many restaurants and bars around and there's also a supermarket and McDonalds near. The room (we booked a normal double room in August) was bigger than expected, was clean and had everything (hairdryer, shampoo etc., table, closet, shelf, TV, air conditioner) we needed. The Seine/Notré-dame is a 30-mins walk away. All in one a very good hotel for a good price! We would stay there again!
Free internet in reception
Paris shuts down in August.
lift is out of order and the room is too small
Regular Wifi Air conditioning Location near railroad station and subway
You have to pay extra for better WiFi No closet
was okay hotel.. The staff was helpful.
Thinking about the value of the money, don't think the hotel was worth.. Wasn't that comfort as imagined. Also the location is good for travel, however, the area seems unsafe at night time.
Location is fine, facilities are basic but alright.
THERE IS A CONSTRUCTION GOING ON THE WALL OF THE HOTEL, WHICH WAKES YOU UP EARLY IN THE MORNING AND CONTINUES ALL DAY! I MEAN HAMMERING ON THE WALL WHERE YOUR BED IS NEXT TO! ALSO TALKING AND SHOUTING OF THE CONSTRUCTION WORKERS JUST OUTSIDE THE WINDOW!! IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO REST, DON'T GO TO THIS HOTEL! It's a shame because the hotel has good value for money other than this...
Everything-small elevator, small room, dirty surroundings.
Location was handy.
No housekeeping for 2 days - had to change room in the end. Only 1 towel each even though asked for more so had to use the same towel to dry our hands and shower and hair. Rooms are a bit pokey for the money. The location was handy but area didn't feel particularly safe.
Area-two females traveling and we didn't feel safe going out after dark
The location to metro Restaurants near by
Our room was in a building that was have work done, the rooms were very small and dirty. The curtains won't go all the way through so the workers could see inside in the morning. The cleaning staff did a very bad job, we had a cup on the ground on day one and it stayed there till day 4 without them touching it. No amenities at all. No kettle , no dustbins in room, no iron absolutely nothing.
Fabulous location near the Gares Nord and Est.
Staff was very good in interaction
Had to wait 2 hours for check in ( problem being check out and check in time both as 12 noon) Wifi not available in all parts of room. Room was very conjust despite requested for 2 people + baby. Initially there was some drama regarding room allocation for baby as well( at one point we thought they want us to book another room for our 1.5 year old baby)
only location is good
There was no immediate service at all. Cleanliness was not good. There was vegetarian food in the hotel to order
The location is very near to Metro Station and train station.
Air cond was not working.
The location was about as perfect as possible, less than a 5 minute walk from Gare De L'Est train station. Near lots of places to eat morning and evening. The room we finally ended up in was about what I had expected. It was clean and comfortable and relatively quiet at night considering where we were located. There were not enough towels but they did give us more when we asked - more than we needed.
The room was not ready when we got there for check in which was not early at all. They obviously were not prepared although they were very nice and kept telling us it would only be a little while longer. Ultimately they told us we were "lucky" that they were going to have to give us a "suite" because of whatever mix-up there had been and in the morning they would move us and our bags to a different room. They gave us a special key for the elevator and we went to the top floor. The "suite" was crowded and kind of dank smelling and very old. Old is not bad but old, smelly and damp isn't great. It was very quiet and there was enough room for sleeping and plenty of towels. The view was non-existent. The next morning they informed us they still did not have a room and wanted to know if we wanted to wait (no! We didn't go to Paris to sit in the hotel lobby!!) Then they made us go back and get our bags and put them in the storage room rather than take them to our new room when and if it was ready at some point during the day. By the time we got back that evening all was resolved and we had a good room but still needed to move our bags. I am a seasoned traveler and have learned to roll with the punches up to a point but one of my travel companions was an elderly lady who should not have had to deal with this type is of incompetence, even if the people tried very hard to be endearing.
Location near Gare du l'est. some will say its a bit dodgy, but I arrived at midnight and its so close and easy to find, I didn't feel worried at all. Acceptable given its Paris. Housekeeper did good job, but I didn't need my towels changed every day.
They did a hold charge on my credit card for one night, then charged me the full amount on arrival and I'm still waiting for the hold to be removed a week later. Room very small. Water leaked out of shower and into main room. BBC World News only English language channel available on satellite. Maybe I want to watch a movie. Used their wifi to download shows instead. Very small lift, had to make 2 trips with my bags. Staying in another building and had to haul bags through different areas. No safe, kettle, fridge.
The location was in a pleasant area with easy access to metro in order for travel in Paris.
There was no tea making facilities in the room (my fault for not checking). Tea and coffee was available for 4 euros but the water was never hot enough. The night reception guy (Rolan, I think his name was) was the only one that understood this and went to the other part of the hotel on the other side of the road to get boiling water.
Wifi free all area, Friendly staff, Near Gare du nore and Gare de l'est station. Clean but small room. Can leave luggage .
Poor facility such as no refrigerator, no shower cap, no snack bar and kettle , no bathtub.
