Lovely friendly staff here, room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and lots of choice.
The only downside to this hotel was it's location to metro stations. Quite a long walk from Porte d'italie. Nearer to Gentilly but this light rail dies not stop at this station at night. But if you're happy to walk for 10-15 minutes then it's fine, But the hotel is great.
Everything about the hotel was good except the WiFi which is a little weak. It does work however.
LOCATION I WAS ON VISITS TO La salpetriere hospital coming into pari by trAin at AUsterlitz
Small rooms, weak internet
Good transport links to Austerlittz station
There were no Tea/coffee making facilties in the bedroom - most Ibis Hotels do
Very good staff, very helpful. The hotel was nice, clean and good for us. The cafe/bar was lively and served good beverages. Overall a very nice hotel.
Far from many main places. Two near stations, 15 mins walk from Porte d'Italie station (The walk won't be super safe after 12). Gentille (10 mins walk) the other station would cost u extra tickets as its outside paris.
The noise from rooms the weak towels and please get a staff that can speak english not just 1 person out of 6, this is suppose to be a hotel with international guests a smile would go a long way. I have stayed in 5 different ibises this was the worst
A great budget hotel without a budget feel. Clean, friendly, and a good breakfast too.
Poor public transport directions to the hotel, could be clearer.
The room & bathroom was tiny but clean and tidy. We had issue with runoff but it was fixed the next day. Very good breakfast for the price. Location was also good as there is a direct connection with RER to the City Center of Paris and CDG Airport (Gentilly station).
Poor response from staff when I injured my arm slightly on boarding a lift. They thought it was amusing that I was upset by this. Spoke with manager following morning.
The hotel was nice in general. Typical Ibis.
This hotel is not in the Place d' Italie as booking says!! It is 1.5 km far away from there!!!! There is nothing around the hotel (restaurant, cafe etc) and the metro station is far away.
Staff was kind, rooms were clean, facilities were nice and affordable
Air conditioning could not be turned on and it was warm as we stayed there in June, the location was much too far outside of the city to make it convenient to take public transportation. The hotel sits right outside where most of the 1,2,3 lines easily connect and it made it a little more difficult to navigate at night. It is doable but you will have to be concious of what time the lines will shut down at and much more walking will be involved.
Room size was too small. Breakfast menu was too small. TV channels were very few.
Handy hotel to get into Paris, just off the ring road
clean, nice staff, comfortable bed, fair value for money
poor breakfast for £9.50, location far from centre, no restaurants nereby
The location was good, we have spent a good night and have really enjoyed the breakfast.
Everything is good except the location....
it takes more than 15 mins to walk from gentily station and more than 20 mins to walk from port de italie station...it's especially tired if you are carrying luggages as there are ups and downs along the road...
The room, the lounge and the facilities in general.
Some employees attitude towards the customer.
the hotel reserved 75 euros from my account before my arriving for no reason..
The room is modern and comfortable. Hotel is clean and staff is helpful
It's 10 min walk from station. And Gentilly is about 40 min away from anything of interest. For the price I think location is pretty good. But must allow enough time in schedule to accommodate the distance.
Kindness and hospitality of the staff on high level. Helpful for any question addressed. Cleanliness of the room and bathroom. New furniture. Very good sound isolation, although highway is under the hotel, room is very quiet.
It was hard to find it late night from Porte d'Italie metro station, because there are 2 other Ibis budget nearby that guide us in wrong direction. Gentili station more close to the hotel.
The room will be cleaned every day, and the staff offers a good service.
But in the room there is't hot water to drink
It's an experience, rooms were clean nothing great, small towels only. Location is OK if you have a car or very fit to walk to the train station... which is bit of an uphill trek, Traveling by the train is fine but not as easy as the London Underground system... unless of course you are fluent in French. other than that take it in your stride it's an experience just embrace it :)
Staff can be a bit more helpful with directions to local transportation etc... Maps would be great, and a few pointers to which stations from Hotel to Tour Eiffel and surrounding areas...
Coutesy of staff, welcoming atmosphere, secured parking at reasonable price (12 euro per day), cleanlines
the position is not really central... but we knew it in advance. Anyway metro and bus stops are really at 10 min walk and with RER in 10 min you are in Boulevard St. Michel. We did not have breakfast, by the way it is not included in the price of the room.
