Breakfast is poor
Everything is in order Very clean Good value for money Close to metro
the location was good. access to metro ok. comfort level acceptable.
bar prices high. resturanrt below expectation
Breakfast was very good. Location was good for the price. Lots of nice local food places.
Coolness of air conditioning could have been better.
The chinese reception staff was not helpfull in sloving our needs, like need change of coins for luggage locker, just say dont have . doesnt help in changing it. we have to go out of to get the change for 10euro. U cant change Euro 500 here, or any where in france.even the banks. Dont know why the govt issue the big notes in the first place.
When we arrived the staff was very helpful, courteous, and spoke English well. It had ok air conditioning and the wifi was good and worked well. Our room was very clean. It was a short walk to the metro station which you pass many cafés and pastry shops. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. It was affordable and offered more bed options for families.
It was a bit hard to find. It was tucked away in the back of several other hotels. The people of Paris were very helpful and tried to direct us in the right direction. Finally a young lady actually walked with us to the hotel. The air conditioning could have been a bit colder since it was hot and muggy in Paris but it was ok. The rooms were small but adequate since we only used the hotel to sleep and clean up to go out into the city and experience Paris as much as we can.
Restaurant, acomodations, staff, Wifi (internet), help in tourist matters, television. A 03 stars hotel that gives more than that.
Far from the center town, no frigerator in the room
- welcome staff - 15 minutes walking from metro station - room and WC very clean
- I had to spend the first night at Novotel because they do not accept VISA electron card so they cancel my reservation without notice before I came
Overall Experience was good
My VISA card is charged twice and I am struggling to get it corrected. I called hotel couple of times - once manager was not there and next time they just could understand my issue. Its really strange that IBIS hotel will make such a mistake that they will charge me twice 389 EUROS for 4 nights and then another 389 EUROS. I hope they will rectify it asap thought I dropped a email to them 2 days before and still no response. Any help will be appreciated.
All round good value hotel
This hotel is really an excellent value for money as far as Parisian hotels go. It is a nice place, very clean, with a fairly good breakfast and new. The location works if you're not bothered about being in the city centre. There are some restaurants in the vicinity. They are ok but the surroundings are not great. A short walk from the hotel there is a shopping centre area with a few restaurants. I ate there and the food was good but it was really a Parisian banlieu experience.
What you don't get staying at this hotel is being in the centre of Paris. You might be disappointed by the location if "being in Paris" is what you are after. That said the location is actually better than it seems. The hotel is located a very short walk from the Cite Universitaire - an international student campus located in a park as well as the legendary Park Montsouris. The travel to town is easy. You just need to walk (about 10 min) to the RER Cite Universitaire. You may also choose to take a tram which goes in the loop around Paris. It will take to the RER Cite Universitaire as well.
maintenance prompt and helpful despite communication gap.
small. housekeeping not efficient. sheets not changed.
Clean, simple and comfy. Free wifi was a bonus on a night time.
After a long day out, wanting to wind down in front of the TV wasn't an option - French only channels (probably the same in all hotels) There's several other Ibis hotels in the area and finding the correct one was difficult initially - It's easy to find IF you understand the maps
comfortable hotel in a reasonable price, clean and cool style.
a little far from metro station.
The staff was awful. They should've reserved us a shuttle to take us to the airport and we found out that they haven't reserved us anything just with 5 (like abut 1 am) hours before he had to leave, so we were constrained to take a cab which was more expensive. Another unpleasant thing was that the heating system wasn't working. About room cleaning it's true that somebody cleaned our room every day but also one day when we came back we found the TV on and our clothes messy. We were very dissapointed by this hotel!!!!
Location to shops and travel was excellent
Parking price was expensive and an extra. There was no plug in the room to charge any electrical equipment such as phones or laptop! The room should not have been sold as a three person as only really room for double bed so very small space
Big lounge, polite staff
Breakfast - choice is very limited
It was clean. The breakfast was delicious, but too expensive.
It was noisy. The staff except for one woman on the evening shift were abrupt and acted pained that they needed to help us. We had to sign into Wi-Fi every time we used it. To us it was not a 3 star hotel; 3 star hotels in the USA are much better..
Convenience to metro, location was good. The restaurant was adequate, the hamburgers for those of you who love them was very good.
I made two separate bookings through Booking, com. The first time, the receptionists attitude was just dreadful--telling us how horrible booking.com was, etc. We needed a twin room and the only room available the first time was a quad, because neither of us could climb into an upper bunk bed. In this day and age, a hotel room having only one electrical outlet per room is waaay behind the times. It cost more than most of the other bookings I made and the room was smaller, even the quad, that some in other hotels.
If I did not have to buy the internet because I couldn't get on the free one service was good. The room was too small but clean at first. By the fifth day sheets were not changed and needed it There was no card that said to change sheets. But everything was clean. convenience to the hotel where our conference was excellent.
no way to let them know that sheets needed to be cleaned. very small. not enough plug ins for appliances. restaurant food not very good. No one spoke much English especially in the restaurant. the desk also was limited. We spoke limited French.
location far enough from nearest metro station
.staff friendly and cooperative
.not well connected .not worth value for money .small rooms
Staff on desk very helpful Shops close by clean and comfortable
very busy noise long walk to metro
The room wasnt spacious
