location, clean, wi-fi
room and bed size a bit too small for 2 guests, but it seems it is more a thing one has to be prepared for in old buildings the rooms are small and bigger bed would probably even not fit in
5 minute walk to funicular going up to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre area. 1block to Anvers metro and 3 blocks to Pigale metro station. Carrefour market 2 blocks and laudromat 1 block away. A perfect spot to explore Paris from. Hotel staff very accommodating and helpful in case of room issues. Very good breakfast at a reasonable price. Two top floors have Eiffel Tower views.
Located in a multi-cultural area of Paris that may make some travelers uneasy. We are a retired couple and walked the area at all times of the day, and never experienced any anxiety or problems.
1) Good location- close to Sacre Coeur, load of good restaurants, and the Metro 2) Attentive and helpful staff- we had trouble with the TV as the power connection was broken. Staff responded within minutes and fixed the issue. Even some 5 star hotels cannot beat this service 3) Strong wifi- one of the best I have experienced and that includes stays in much pricier 5 star hotels! 4) Good clean room- basic Ibis quality (in a good way)
1) Tight lift- very small, but this is typical of the majority of the City's hotels 2) Bathroom- although clean could do with newer shower curtain 3) In the colder months room can get stuffy as the hotel's air con system is reversed to heating, and as such you cannot run the cold air. You can open the windows but then you are exposed to street noise. Again similar to (1) the air con practice is typical of most hotels so therefore not the hotel's fault- just be aware of this
The staff were so helpful and we got exactly what we paid for. The tiny lift should be a tourist attraction
No tea making facilities in the room sadly
location is good, anvers is close by, breakfast is good, staff are friendly, we had a room with eiffel tower view
poor bathroom, very small lift, room is pretty small too, air conditioning was not working
Very small elevator (would only fit one person with bags) but the room was nice (5th floor, we even had a French balcony which we loved) fully booked so very popular hotel, check-in went smooth with plenty of breakfast opps in the neighbourhood. Also around the corner: the Moulin Rouge and the Sacré-Coeur. Very good hotel for a city trip.
No bath, small room, tho we expected it to be like this so no complaints! The a/c is the only real 'bad' (smelly) thing of the room and we never turned it on. We prefer to open the window, even with the traffic noise from outside.
Close to metro station Affordable for Paris Nice and close to Sacre Cour Easy to find restaurants etc in the area.
The extremely small lift. Its about a square metre big. Generally it was comfortable for the stay - which was only 2 nights.
Location was very good, room was small but very comfy and clean. Staff were friendly and very helpful. We enjoyed our stay.
Only complaint, wi-fi was a bit on and off.
Location is perfect for sightseeing.
Our room was a bit cold for a baby.
We booked a double room for a couple and had two single 'beds' put together (we found each other on the floor several times until we slept seperately which wasn't east eather with a single blanket).
Comfortable beds Free wifi Close to metro and relatively easy to get to key tourist sites Close to sacre coeur
The area was quite run down Bathroom was small. Just room to turn around. No bath No coffee or tea facilities No mini bar No balcony as quoted in my reservation Was not offered option to upgrade when rooms were available. Overcharged for my drink at bar
Good connections to the main attractions
Location was excellent. Close to bars and restaurants. Supermarket close by. Metro stop nearby - Anvers! Close to moulin rouge and sacre couer. Eiffel Tower view rooms - exquisite. Modern hotel deco and clean.
Lift is tiny, but to be expected as old French building. You have to meander around the sink to get to the toilet - very compact.
This hotel is all about location. Just at the bottom of Sacre Coeur, Montmatre and Pigalle nearby, and metro stations very close giving access to everything Paris has to offer. Breakfast was great value at €10, and wifi was free and had reasonable speed. Rooms were quite small, but big enough for a short stay. There was 11 in our party and we all will consider staying here again.
Toilet so tiny, cannot even sit down. Breakfast doesn't taste good. Internet disconnects automatically so often. Lift also can only take 3 persons at a time, at most.
Ideal location as Montmartre is just up the hill, behind the Hotel. Gard de Nord is only a 10 minute walk away and there are 3 Metro stations within brief walking distance. If you prefer the bus there is a stop outside the Hotel. The view of the Eifel Tower from the 7th floor was an unexpected treat
Turning up at the Hotel and finding my booking made 8 months prior had been deleted. Given the time frame my credit card had expired and nobody had asked me for my new details.
Breakfast Location Wifi
Small lift Small shower
Very close to shops, restaurants, supermarket, metro stops. Room larger than expected and very quiet. Very good breakfast.
One of the receptionists was rather rude and scary.
we liked the amazing view it offered. small bar in the hotel. quite good location, close to metro.
We were there at the very hot (37) summer, so the aircon was too poor, even when it worked. there is no fridge or minibar in the room
Staff are really nice, location is good
The smallest room, toilet, lift ever. Almost like cheap hotel in japan ;)
I like everything about this place. For that money you can not expect more in .It's so close to metro and hop on hop off bus. When you are visiting Paris you will not stay in the room - so the most important think is a comfy bed ( which is brilliant in Ibis) and clean bathroom ) Staff was very nice and with a very good english. Some reviews I read were about people complaining they only met immigrants working in reception ( as if in Europe only native people worked in tourism). Anyone was nice and helpfull. Breakfast may seems to be a bit overpriced, if you don't like eating too much in the morning don't get it .But if you like good sandwich , and some croissants with coffee, juices, cakes , yoghurts- to get this much needed energy for walking around whole day - then do !
The room was clean, the staff were friendly, and the hotel is in a great location
The lift was tiny
The location was perfect, right by many metros, only a short walk to the Sacre Coeur, a supermarket only over the road and walking distance to many restaurants and bars in the area. The rooms were clean and the cleaning service was excellent.
Nothing to fault, but staff at the front desk were not stationed 24/7 even though they said they were. A few times we wanted to talk to staff but could not find any around. But only a minor problem.
The balcony with the view on Paris (I got proposed there, so I can really recommend it ;) )
I liked the location of the hotel. The staff were unhelpful. I needed an umbrella for 5 minutes and they told me they had none.
The bathroom was so tiny and every time imbed the shower would go off!
