Room was clean and well furnished. The location is good. The hotel is on a small street just off Boulevard des Italiens. There plenty of good restaurants and bars locally. Our room (suite) was on the 1st floor and was therefore noisy. The room was also long and narrow, with little natural light.

Every member of staff we encountered were so helpful & spoke excellent English. The beds and pillows were were very comfortable. Safe & Central location. No printer at the guest computer in the lobby for printing off our boarding passes, however the reception staff printed them off from their computer for us.

The rooms were modern and very clean. It was in a quiter area but still close to everything. Good hotel. The service wasn't always that good. We didn't receive any information about Paris, or where to go and it wasn't easy to acces the parking.

The deco in the room was nice, the water pressure in the sower was good (but shower quite small). Good location, close to Metro. Other hotels have very good "soundproofing", in Icone it was very noisy: I could hear the dustbins being emptied on the road, my neighbour being sick in his toilet and the tv next door. There was no "do not disturb" sign in my room. I asked at the reception for it - he said he would tell the cleaner not to enter my room. However, my room was made up that day. And my room-card did not work anymore that night; had to go back to reception to get a new one. The reception also took a copy of my credit card (including back) "for security". I have enquired this and finally asked for my copy back as I left. However there was plenty of time for this information to go "traveling".

Good location, safely situated in Paris Maurice the receptionist, was obnoxious, and extremely unpleasant. Either he has a very forgetful memory or he was attempting to get money out of us any which way he could. Our mini bar charges changed daily along with its contents. We arrived Friday night and on the Saturday afternoon we returned to the Hotel, to find a 5 euro note was removed from one of our rooms, this was excused by Morris as a 'tip'. Tipping money is usually left on the last day of stay so should never of been taken. We were then stung with local city tax to which we payed in full when settlling the hotel bill. I was then advised this was to be paid again!!! Whilst explaining figures with Morris there was an unanswered 14 euros. Morris could not provide us with a straightforward answer as to what this 14 euro covered that would be because it was a payment to the hotel for the local city tax. This hotel is extremely cheap and is situated in a excellent safe part of Paris, but for value for money it was more hassle then it was worth as the staff were extremely arrogant, very disappointing.

Fantastic little hotel in a great area, close enough to the centre that we spent most of our time just walking from place to place on foot- only got the metro once. I mentioned in my booking that the trip was a surprise for my boyfriends birthday and they gave us the room right at the top of the hotel - the only room to have a view of the Eiffel tower - very impressive!

Location is very good as its on the opera area and 300 meters fronm richlieu drouot metro line 9 and 5 which will directly take you to opera or trocadero. Design: I wouldn't call it boutique hotel and like most hotel in paris, it's really a small hotel Having a hotel in the middle of the town sometimes you got some drunk homeless trying to sneak in your hotel, and in our case some drunk homeless was trying to sneak in and the reception was not stopping her properly, she can get in, to our floor and drop her belonging but thank god she didnt sleep there for some reason.

Nice location... Rooms too small for 2people. Hallways are narrow. They charge extra for booking airport service/taxi. Other hotels charge Euro17 only. They charge Euro25. They keep Euro8 just for booking you. Not nice!

The hotel show unique and fashion compare to other hotels. The hotel room and bath room is big as comparing the price. It is not that easy to locate the hotel, because it was on the back street. The hotel room corridor is very tide and small. The corridor is very dark when you just step out from the room. It will light when it sensor you. Beware, if you are carry a big bag, because the corridor is tide. And not to mention, you never could find such a small and old lift. I found the hotel is not that secure, because I was back on the midnight and no one the reception and the hotel is showing dark. In your room, you do not have a safety lock. Anyone can open the door with holding the master key.
