Hotel Iena  

The staff were very very helpful and welcoming. They took the time to inform us about the city, mode of transportation etc. They even went the extra mile to make sure that our stay in France was as pleasurable as possible. One of the staff even made phone calls (on our behalf) to confirm the hotel that we were moving to the next day, informing them that we were arriving late in the evening and made sure that we get the right metro station. The hotel was also very nicely decorated.

I would suggest that they put an electric kettle in their rooms so that guests will be able to make some tea/coffee.

Grat atmosphere and good breakfast. Good for sightseeing but it's not hotel with 5 stars. Staff very pleasant :)

Things seem a bit old.

Hotel Iena is a 5 minute walk from St. Laud train station in Angers. The small room has a hallway where you can find the toilet, and inside the bedroom you have a decent shower and sink hidden in sliding doors. The bed is queen size and has 4 pillows. This is a typical french/european hotel experience. Quaint and full of character.

This is definitely not a 5 star hotel. The building is quite old and you have to walk quietly since the floor is made of wood. You can also hear the cars from the street which may bother your sleep. Most of the staff could not speak English but they are very helpful. The bed is also not in top shape. This place is only good if you want to save money but stay in a hotel.

The Hotel Iena staff was very helpful with suggestions for meals and sightseeing, as well as with directions. The location is fabulous and the rooms were clean. I recommend it!

Value for money -=- excellent. Charming decor; very good service and wonderful staff. Rooms in great condition. Proximity to fortress/chateau and cathedral/olde town/city centre is quite convenient. Only a few blocks from the train station so it's easy to walk to the hotel.

J'ai aimé sa situation géographique car il est à deux pas de la gare Angers Saint-Laud ainsi que son rapport qualité-prix. Le petit déjeuner est copieux. Le personnel est à notre service.

L'ascenseur est vieillôt.

Hôtel à 5 minutes à pied de la gare. Au début du séjour, il était demandé d'arriver à l'hôtel avant 22h. Mon train arrivant à 22h30, j'ai prévenu l'accueil qui m'a attendu sans problème.

Chambre trop chauffée à l'arrivée (mais chauffage facilement réglable).

Petit hotel sans prétention bien situé près du centre ville et de la gare .Accueil agréable .

Situé idéalement à quelques rues de la gare. Personnel aux petits soins. Ambiance familiale. Coquet.

Il est parfois préférable de vérifier par téléphone que la réserviation via booking.com a bel et bien été enregistrée.
