Location was great
Wee smell in reception area.
Had a great time at this lovely hotel. The staff were all wonderful especially Jacob for whom nothing was too much trouble. Great shopping centre 5 minutes walk with large supermarket loads shops and several places to eat. Great transport links to wherever you want to go. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
Excellent staff. Very helpful. Great stay.
A few stains on carpets. Pool very cold and only 6 sun loungers for the whole hotel.
Easy to get access rest of Nantes by bus, hotel bit dated but is perfectly fine for the price and overnight stay. The pool is welcome after a hot days driving and the city is not to be missed!
The staff are very helpful and friendly, and spoke English. It is located close to a mall with many shopping options. The view from the room was beautiful.
A very good value deal on the room Free parking All round good staff
Location is more suitable for business travellers perhaps, well away from anything touristy
it looks like 2star hotel
Easy parking,great position.
Secure parking, room comfort and excellent choice, service and quality of the breakfast
Parts of the hotel are looking a little shabby particularly carpets, no evening meal option in the restaurant on both Saturday & Sunday, a member of bar staffs attitude appeared to be everything was to much trouble and distance of the location from the centre of Nantes.
Quiet area Outdoor pool The bathtub was lovely Some staff personnel were multi-lingual
Proximity to public transit About 30 min walk to city center
Meal was descent, with your standart choice for breakfast. Although raw eggs at the side of boiling water, were a bit confusing. It had a timer next to it,wich I realised its purpose aftet i broke a rae egg in a plate. About 30 min walking distance to the metro area
Rooms in a picture looked pretty good, although during my stay it appeared half of the hotel was undet reconstruction. However i was given a pre-recons room, which looked like smth from the 80s.
Building and interior looked tired
Room was ok.
Was in the middle of the 2014 Football quarter finals, but with the limited number of tv channels couldn't watch any of the games. The hotel does have internet, but its speed is very low.
- very friendly housekeepers - own free parking space secured by gates - free wi-fi (youtube medium quality videos) - clean rooms - spacious rooms - soft beds - close to Carrefour - situated by the river
- unclean smell at the lobby - the pool had very cold water (not very clean neither) - 40 minutes walking to the center of Nantes - old hotel (slightly scratched furniture, old painting etc.) - AC not cold enough
the friendly and clean enviroment!
Free car parking. The hotel is not central, but the transport system of Nantes is superb and getting into town was easy.
We had a large comfortable room. The hotel was close to a bus route and had parking facilities.
One of our group of 6 was disabled. I phoned in advance to check facilities and was assured the hotel was accessible. Their bedroom, however, was poorly equipped for disability. It had a larger bathroom but the shower was over the bath, therefore inaccessible as was the toilet with no bars for support & no raised seat. The only bar was on the wall the far side of the bath so of no use whatsoever. Breakfasts were expensive & the breakfast room also proved to be inaccessible. There was a lift of sorts but no one seemed trained to use it properly and it jammed half way down the 3 steps leaving our friend suspended for 20 minutes. As it was Saturday, there was no technician available & the staff had no idea what to do. It was my husband (an engineer) who got a luggage trolley, inserted it under the lift and managed to unjam it while the hotel staff stood around. There was obviously inadequate training of the staff in the use of the lift & it was an embarrassing experience for our friend. When he and his wife discussed it with the receptionist they were told it would be too expensive to improve the facilities & it would not happen as the hotel would be demolished in 2 years. This is unsatisfactory as we were not given accurate information about the disabled facilities in advance.
Very comfy and welcoming room. To be able to reuse the same towels (avoiding unnecessary washing them). Very nice staff - polite, helpful..., very good food in the menu
The menu in the restaurant was too limited. No new bottle of water in the room the following day.
Generally efficient, and pleasant staff
Island is pretty dismal
