Holiday Inn Calais Coquelles    

Room was clean, nice size, hotel reception and areas clean and large. Breakfast good continental style.

The same restaurant menu every day, only one vegetarian menu with little imagination, certainly need to vary the menu for people staying more than one night. As we stayed 3 nights we did not eat there. Lack of security safe in room.

ran out of a few things at the breakfast buffet and had to wait a while for them to be replenished (including English breakfast tea)

Good size rooms and hotel has its own grounds. Excellent location, only five minutes from Eurotunnel and Cite Europe. Would definitely stay again.

Near to tunnel exit for arrival late in day. The only thing in it's favour.

The only thing in favour of the Executive Room was the sign on the door. Not very clean. Mattress was in such bad condition that it was unusable on one side, so we had to pull out and use the sofa bed. Bad value for money, there are better places nearby.

We arrived after driving from Reims and had a very friendly reception. We enjoyed a walk into Cocquelle and were particularly interested in the tunnel boring machine on the roundabout.

Breakfast was awful, coffee and cooked food cold and overcooked and very expensive for what we had Our room was not as clean as last time 142-also the price generally was double what we paid last year-when we were happy there

3 course meal on Saturday night was absolutely delicious. Lovely garden and grounds and good location. Beds extremely comfortable and room very clean with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Good for those who don't drink tea or coffee! Village was very clean with good facilities too. Have always by passed Calais, but would consider staying there again. Had a really lovely weekend.

Nice clean rooms, great for overnight stay for eurotunnel. Lovely swimming pool and facilities.

Family room was 2 double beds, not ideal for son and daughter to share a bed.

We received a very warm and friendly welcome. The roomand bathroom were bright and clean and the bed very comfortable. It was cold for the end of May but as soon as we asked the heating came on. Stayed here from the ferry on our way to the south of France. Will certainly use this hotel again. An excellent one night stop over.

Pleasant hotel well placed for Cite d'Europe shopping and the Eurotunnel. As a place to relax after driving half way across Europe, it was fine.

Hotel is a little tired and could have been cleaner. Very stuffy in the room with the air-con. A bit pricey.

Spacious, quiet location, plenty of free parking, public areas welcoming, room good. 5 mins from tunnel.

My No.1 Coice for x channel stay. Spotlessly clean, quiet, pleasant reception staff, large free car park, free WiFi, excellent tv reception with 34 channels (inc uk channels), excellent breakfast (choice of €8.5 v €10 selection) and only 5 mins drive to Cité Europe (again - free parking!). Also top marks to Booking.com who liaised with hotel to re- schedule my booking from March to May due to snowy conditions in UK/France (with no extra fee to pay). Thanks again!!

There is nothing that I would change.

A very nice hotel, would be expensive at the rack rate but at the bookings.com rate was a bargain. Spacious clean and comfortable bedroom and bathroom. If you need to be in Calias look no further.

The buffet breakfast although excellent was expensive at €15, but when this was refused the receptionist produced a discount voucher reducing it to €10 which was very acceptable.

The hotel environment made us feel relaxed and at ease. Good leisure facilities. Good quality food at dinner in the restaurant. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Good location with easy access onto the A16

Breakfast felt a bit like being in a fast food canteen rather than a hotel breakfast area.

The hotel is ideal for people who are touring by car and need a well placed base from where to explore , or a confortable stopover facility.

Location, friendliness, clean rooms, nice breakfast, quietness, green surroundings, closeness to the beach and the nice places south of Calais (Sangatte, Site des 2 Caps, Wimereux, Boulogne sur Mer, etc)

A bit of attention on the reception personnel side is using their systems properly, communicating to the cleaning personnel and so on. I exteneded my stay and 30 minuted later I got a call from the reception stating it is time to leave the room and the cleaning person tried to enter the room 5 times...while the "do not disturb sign" was on the door.

Spacious public area, reasonable bar, acceptable restaurant. Catered well for international travellers with access to good range of television channels. Comfortable room and good sized bath. Good selection of equipment in the leisure centre and a decent size of pool.

Lifts were a bit dodgy - didn't inspire confidence. Rubbish coffee in the room. Wouldn't accept my Priority Club card as I had not booked via the Holiday Inn website. The statement was made that the price I would have paid on the company site would have been the same as I paid via a search engine, which was incorrect. That was the stated reason for not accepting my card.
