good location to the sea.
poorly staffed reception. I had noisy people upstairs till 2am!, when I went to reception to request another room no one was available, so pressed the bell that phones the night attendant only to find out that the phone had been left on the receptions desk!. no one on reception at 10am to complain to, my key needed to be handed in to a morning cleaner. very bad damp damage one the first floor and exposed wires coming out the wall.
Walking distance from town centre. Basic, clean & good value. Parking on site.
Complete absence of staff. Knew that there was none from 12 - 5pm but, at 5.30 when all the power went off & still no staff, less accepting! Couldn't get answer on mob. All was dark. Couldn't see to use room facilities. After an hour a prospective customer eventually located the fusebox! (Lost lots of prospective customers in this time). Couldn't get Wi Fi no one to ask, even later in the eve. What happens in an emergency? Had prepaid so saw person at reception next am for 30 secs but had to rush for ferry - no time to relate grievances. Have had good reports from others so may be one off. Not quite such a prob had someone been there at 5pm.
Noheating, No receptionist till late.No coffee/tea facilities until late.
Ambiance, Staff, Condition. Would not stay again.
This hotel is in a quiet location with private parking, yet only a few minutes walk to the town centre and port. Beds are clean and comfortable, staff are friendly. Ruth Plymouth
Location c!ose to harbour and restaurants. Very quiet at night. Have stayed here before either straight off the Brittany ferry or on our way home. Breakfast is always good with plenty of choice.
The bed was unbelievably hard and so I didn't sleep well. However, hubbie thought it very comfortable!
Very helpful and informative
No tea/coffee facilities in room
Location and parking.
Carpet in toilet.Hair dryer did not work. Window would not secure. Had to lock down shutters for security, this left us no daylight.
Excellent central location Quiet Very friendly staff
We have stayed here several times and our last visit in May 2014 was a great disappointment: surly staff, unsafe electric points, locked fire escape. We decided to return in September 2014 as it was convenient for our other plans and we were delighted that everything is back to normal high standards of staff and comfort. What a relief!
Nothing: all fine.
Reception staff very helpful. Bed was comfortable and breakfast very good...........AND
Location near to town centre
Nobody on reception on arrival - had to use intercom outside the building, connected to an ansaphone in French, then eventually staff member appeared from back of building. Hair dryer in room did not work.
Location Room clean Shower was powerful
Noisy in morning
Location, good parking and nice breakfast available. Well signposted in the town.
Check in and key collection. without the help of some strangers we would not have been able to access our room that night.(However, the receptionist was extremely apologetic and helpful the following morning and offered us tea and coffee even though we were not having breakfast so went some way towards making up for the disastrous check in experience.)
comfortable bed but couldn't sleep because the room made my skin crawl.
Reception closes around 7 and they leave your key on the desk. door open all night so no security. No access to a kettle or bottled water. Bathroom filthy, dated, carpet stank of stale water and was damp. Carpet in bedroom was really dirty and the whole room stank of stale tobacco. Rude staff who when I rang there bell late evening to tell them someone had left their lights on in carpark basically said tough! Car park was covered in oil/petrol. Grim hotel.
Tiny bedroom plaster flaking off walls unable to use wifi in bedroom
Good bed, and pleasant balcony Separate toilet
No plug for bath, or shower curtain in a superior room Poor soundproofing-noise from other bedrooms Difficult to park Noisy guests late at night
This was a friendly, clean and quiet hotel in a great location relative to the village of Roscoff.
All was good
No frills. Generous breakfast
Good updated furnishings and shower etc. Good location. Clean. Hotel obviously recently had a major refurbishment. Was light and tastefully decorated.
Desk often unmanned. One couple couldn't check in for several hours and phone went unanswered. No soap or shower gel in bathroom. Took several requests and a day to get shower gel. Never got soap. No hairdryer despite repeated requests. Breakfast ok but items not refilled when ran out. Took a day to get internet code as desk unmanned. No information or instructions in room.
Convenient to Caen City Centre Room was clean and kept clean during our stay
Very tiny room, no room either side of the bed. Capsule toilet and shower together, so toilet gets wet after shower. Room dark.
easy to find !
small superior room felt it only deserved standard accommodation. hotel does not deserve 3 star rating bath shower was a hand held shower head shabby in places not up to standard not a good experience
location Cost Cleanliness
family room needed a few repairs, bathroom light, hairdryer, window lock
and frankly found it kind of disgusting. also holes in hallway walls, no air conditioning, and the room was just generally dingy.
Convenient location with good size car park.
Worn out carpets and general run down look.
