A satisfactory experience. Good breakfast and service

Close to train station. Close to city center

Hotel has no restaurant. Old very dark rooms. Poor breakfast. Expensive (according to quality). I stayed 3 nights and newer had complet of batchroom staff or caffè, always something was missed.

It was ideal location for the the centre of Chartres. It was very quiet inside, with very little street noise entering the room. The breakfast looked good but... Log fire in the front entrance was very welcoming. I liked the fact that there was secure car parking behind the hotel, Otherwise the rooms were very tidy and it was lovely to see tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean and well equipt.

Breakfast.... Was very pricey if all you wanted was a bread roll and coffee! However I was not aware of just how close it was to the railway station and some of the characters wandering about in the early hours of the morning put me off going for an early morning walk.

Secure parking very good (at 8 Euro cost per day/night)

I have found Qualys hotel Chatelet very good and matching my expectations of a good hotel, well located nice and clean with a good service.

Well located city hotel with on site private parking facility. Quiet.

More a B&B than a hotel. No evening meals available. Room decor a bit tired.

Perfect location. Middle of the city yet quiet. Good value for money.

I would have liked to be able to make my early morning tea. Separete loo was convennient but you had to go to the bathroom to wash your hands.

We ugraded to a Cathedral view, which was well worth the extra expense. The view of Chatres Cathedral from room 314 (and other rooms) was incredible. We could watch the light show on the Cathedral from our bed. We could not have asked for a better view, even though the hotel is actually a few blocks away from the Cathedral. The view was stunning.

The room lights all went on and off at the same time. If you turned a light on, they all went on. If you turned a light off, they all went off. It was impossible to get low lighting. Also, the room safe did not work.

It is always a bonus to have on site secure parking when visiting a city. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting the cathedral, etc.

Very comfortable hotel in excellent location close to Cathedral.

Breakfast could definitely have been better.
