The direct area the hotel is in, is not the greatest. The staff was aware the hotel would be going through construction work sometime in the a.m. They, however, didn't tell us. Drilling, hammering, and banging kicked off bright and early at 8 a.m., although checkout was not until 12. I complained to the front desk and they acted like it was nothing, although they said it usually starts at 9 a.m. I wound up getting my parking reimbursed. Unless you want to eat fast food or the relatively expensive hotel restaurant, there aren't many other options.
It seems they went through a remodel not too long ago- rooms were modern and clean. The balcony overlooking the church in the distance was nice but had no chairs. Thanks for the free bottle of water, tea, and use of Nespresso machine- not often found in Europe!
