The room was clean and comfortable. The sraff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was overpriced but this is the same in all French hotels I have stayed in. |

Although the Reception staff did not speak much English, they were very helpful and took efforts to understand my somewhat "rusty" French. Cleaning staff were also very good and efficient! I'm not sure the 'wet floor' bathroom was a particularly good idea - would have preferred a more conventional arrangement. |

Ideally located to La Citié. Great view from the hotel window. Easy to find. Air-conditioning was a bit problematic otherwise everything else was fine. |

The proximity to the old medieval city ; the convenience of the airport bus stop; the 'wet room' shower Smelly drain in bathroom; unable to get CNN or BBC World news on TV (tho we didnt ask for help and were hardly in the room for long enough to bother!) |

Reception staff very helpful - spoke a little English & tried hard to understand my French. It is spotlessly clean. It is a 2 to 5 min walk to the Old Citie. I felt it is quite expensive for what it is - but Carcassonne is expensive as it is a tourist destination (the poor £ doesn't help much either). Same sort of thing as you would expect in a Travel Lodge but twice the price. The bed was 'saggy' and a little uncomfortable. |

Location was very close to wonderful Old City and the ancient bridge and reasonable walking distance to shopping area. Rooms was absolutely clean and bright. Bed was comfortable though had to be careful getting out not to bump something. Shower had lots of water and good temperature control. View out window was blank wall. Busload of noisy Spanish schoolkids did not help our sleep. Very very little English spoken by desk staff. 7 TV channels all French, no international news etc. Very basic small room. No fridge, no bedside light for reading. No information in Reception regarding direction and distance to local features or shops. |

It was scrupulously clean and the staff were helpful. It was especially convenient for accessing the medieval city of Carcassonne. |

Near fortress walls. Good value. Clean. Plenty of street parking around hotel may be due to low tourist season. Small bathroom odd shaped shower. |

Location, location. A short 5 minute walk to the Cite gate. We stayed one evening and enjoyed the beautiful floodlit walls and hotel-recommended restaurant for dinner. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast overlooking the Cite. Front desk very helpful. No problem finding if you watch for their signs. Room on 1st floor with Cite view was disappointing. |

Location is perfect, in a quiet street just 5 minutes from Cite gates. Rooms were well equipped and spotless, Air con works, the shower is fine. The staff are friendly and helpful. Cite view rooms give a great view of the cite gates. A bonus is the airport bus stops almost at the door. |

Position was as described and the hotel was spotless. The price advertised at the hotel was substantially less than we paid. The room was tiny and the en-suite virtually impossible in size, I don't believe a tall person could have sat down on the loo. The floor was very slippery. |

Location allowed us to see the castle before the touristic crowd. Tiny room and shower/toilet. Not too easy to find. |

We felt welcome as soon as we arrived and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Our room was spotlessly clean and, although compact, was fine for a weeks stay. We would definitely revisit. |

Excelent location on the edge of old city and short drive from highway. It is very old building with less than 20 rooms. Spacious rooms We stayed on 3rd floor and the is no elevator. Stone walls do not provide much sound proofing. |

Ideally situated, only a very short walk to the steps of the walled Carcassonne City. Very small rooms, basic but clean and I would say satisfactory for a short stay only. A wet room as a bathroom!! There was nothing unexpected about it, just as it is explained on the web. (perhaps the rooms were smaller than expected!) |

The friendly staff, the cleanliness of the room, the breakfast and the location. The facility to leave luggage prior to booking in. Room just a little small, particularly as we had wet jackets to hang up. |
