It was all good

Convenient location for visiting ZooParc de Beauval. On the shore of Cher river. Be sure to ask for rooms with River view. Air conditioning a necessary plus - cannot leave windows open at night because of bugs coming from the river.

Despite an attempt at modest room renovations, this hotel is definately showing its age and requires a top to bottom lift. In light of modest comfort level, room rates are too high. Basic breakfast offering not in sink with hefty 9.50 euros extra charge.

The restaurant: the food was very good, and value for money. Restaurant service friendly. The hotel was easy to find.

Our welcome made us feel we were being a bit of a nuisance by being there.The room was expensive. There was no air-conditioning. As the hotel was on the banks of the river Cher, and there was a notice from the management recommending keeping windows shut to avoid mosquitoes, we spent a very uncomfortable, stuffy night (with windows slightly ajar). The configuration of bath/shower made it very difficult to get into or out of either. It wasn't possible to alter the height or angle of the shower head. At breakfast I was asked quite abruptly (and publicly) to put my breakfast plate and cup back on to its tray, and to eat off the tray. This was extremely rude. We would not stay there again, or recommend the hotel. It was very expensive for what it was, and I don't expect to be treated rudely at any price.

Our bed (and room) were small and uncomfortable- not at all what I expected for the price we paid. The air conditioner was broken and made noises throughout the night and the walls are paper thin- so you can hear everything that is going on in the halls and the rooms around you.

The owner was very helpful. The room was adequate & location was perfect for our itinerary.

Its location is good for visiting sights in the Loire Valley

There is a lot of noise. Rooms facing the river are affected by noise from a very busy road and the rooms at the backside of the hotel are affected by noise from the kitchen early in the morning and late at night. It is not a hotel where you relax and find comfortable.

L'accueil plutôt chaleureux. Le calme.

L'éclairage des chambres, la position des interrupteurs improbable. Le chauffage, dans une chambre seul le chauffage de la salle de bain est allumé, dans une autre...heureusement que l'eau est chaude ! La literie inégale d'une chambre à l'autre. Bref un 3 * vieillot. Bien pour une nuit mais plas plus.

La sortie des poubelles par le personnel de l’hôtel à 6h30 avec un manque de retenue évidente .

Emplacement géographique. Chambre,classique,confortable. Accueil souriant,professionnel,efficace.

bonne cuisine en demi pension

chambres mal insonorisées et claquements des portes insuportable due au ferme -porte trop brutal service peu aimable.

Sa situation:prés des Châteaux de la Loire.

Essentiellement le diner du soir, dans un cadre très agréable, avec un menu de très bonne qualité (saucier très inventif) et un service très rapide.

C'est la 3éme fois que nous descendons dans cet hotel grace au zoo de saint aignan. Cet hotel est sympa, la cuisine est trés bonne, ( la suite ) que nous avons pris pour la 2éme fois est un peu bruyante le week end, mais correctement agencée sauf la porte des wc qui reste coincée de l'intérieur. Je l'avais déja signalé en juin sans effet. Le personnel dans l'ensemble est dans l'ambiance de la maison strict. Une personne est plutot froide pour l"accueil et difficile à dérider. Le service du restaurant est sans faille,belle table bonne cuisine, bon service, et comprehensible avec les enfants.......
