A 19th-century building set in the centre of Lillebonne, Hôtel de France offers a bar that opens up to the terrace, and a restaurant. Wi-Fi is free of charge in the entire property.
Score from 15 reviews Good
The lack of lighting in the rooms. We could not read or see much at all. Very frustrating.
Nice breakfasts. Very welcoming staff. The way they accepted my last minute alterations, so I could add my 90 year old Normandy veteran Father to the trip.
Knowing a 90 year old was coming, it would have been nice (if possible) to have been given a room on the ground floor. But the only stand out thing which really annoyed me was the shower and bath facilities. The bath was too small to bathe in, and the shower attachment was too short to hold above your head as a shower. I am only 6 foot tall.
Very friendly owners and personal, perfect bed, o.k. room in general. Nice and cosy lobby area.
It was really just a hotel for those passing through the area, in a commercial centre. Some distance on foot from the town centre.
Convenient stop over from Le Havre
The restaurant was advertised as open but when we arrived it was closed.
Location not bad if you have a car Friendly staff, good choice for breakfast
Was no mirror in the room, most of plages din't work, during my stay they never clean the room
ok sleep very comfortable breakfast room
broken window blind tiny WC; penny pinching impression - thin old towel, el cheapo toilet paper
They have a 4 x 4 foot bathroom. Half taken up by a bath with the option of an overhead shower but no screen or curtain. One quarter taken up by the wash basin and a narrow shelf. This leaves you with one quarter or 2 x 2 feet. Once showered the total bathroom is wet as well as some of the bedroom. The room is ok but once you take away the surplus bedding you run out of space. Each bed has 4 pillows, two doona's and a blanket. With a tempratur of 28 degrees and no air conditioning one needs to remove a lot of bedding but no space to put it. You will not that the Hotel has no photo of the bathroom as it is below standard for 2014.
Hotel nice look just out side if town 20 min walk. However owner dropped us in. Lovely town
Got taxi back got ripped off meter was on 8 euro when we got 5 min ride cost 12. We didn't pay that much in Paris
The bathroom is dated and need to be renovated.
Location close to beautiful town centre
Poor night's sleep due to saggy mattress. Breakfast stale.
Friendly staff, nice rooms given the price. Breakfast was also quite good for this class of accommodation. Location is also great if you have a car.
The toilets could have some cleaning material and there could be a shower curtain in the bathroom.
Clean, comfy and quiet. Just the job for an overnight stay.
