The owner,as well as the others that worked there we're so nice and helpful.The room and the breakfast were all that you could ask for -- wonderful.

Nothing to complain about.

I can't say enough about the staff. They were friendly and helpful, providing suggestions about where to eat and going out of their way to be welcoming. The hotel itself was excellent. I would happily stay there again. The bed was very comfortable, the room extremely clean. It was nice to have a refrigerator. The Internet was slightly unreliable on the 4th floor but for the most part worked well.

Staff was extremely friendly and provided great service. The hotel is very near the train station making it easy to take day trips to Biarritz & San Sebastian. Convenient location for city site also. Beautiful city and ocean front.

Central location within the town, close to the beach, restaurants and shopping. I was lucky to have a local family as guides so my trip was a very busy one. Seeing much more than I could have hoped to have done on my own. Plenty to do in a spectacular area. The staff are most helpful and welcoming, the hotel is spotlessly clean. Will I return? Yes I am already planning my return trip with this Hotel as my base. 10 out of 10 :)

Rooms are very small, the breakfast area is in the way of the reception and the elevators.

The staff were efficient and always helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and comfortable and well maintained - good decor. Location was good as we wanted to be within walking distance into the town. There was also free parking available nearby. Veiws from our room of pyrenees and port.

Breakfast expensive and breakfast room too small - so we opted out of this, but, we had the choice not to bother so it was not a problem.

A very friendly, small family run hotel, everyone most helpful and happy to please. The location was perfect for strolling around the town, visiting the many boutiques, bars and restaurants. The beach was terrific, just 6 minutes away. We are coming back.

The hotel is excellently situated for the beautiful town and walk to the beach.The train station is a 5 minute walk as is the bus stop.The owner and staff were very friendly.Lovely fresh towels everyday.Good having a kettle in the room and a fridge which was stocked with various drinks.

The only thing we didnt like about the hotel wass the size of the bed.....it was a small double.If you need a kingsize go for rooms 201 and 202,they also have a bath.

location was just what we wanted beside the train and bus stations. The staff were very friendly and helpfull at all times. and the tea making facilities in the room was great

Parking is always a problem in St Jean de Luz but this hotel is fairly near to a chargeable public parking area.

The friendly helpful staff. Good location. Lovely room althought a little on the tight side but bathroom and shower were lovely and plenty of room there. Just loved the shower.

We booked a family room but it was far to small to accommodate three people - we couldn't put our bags anywhere. They shouldn't promote family rooms if they are really small double rooms. We checked out two days earlier as a result

The first night noise was coming from outside (people laughing and having fun) and we couldn't sleep. Staff was friendly and offered us a different room. No complaint after that.

Really friendly staff, great location for arriving/departing via rail. in the heart of town and close to the beach, absolutely no need for a car.

The smaller double bedroom are on the small side.

We stayed here for a week in July. Hotel is perfectly situated both for coming/ leaving (just opposite train station, BUT - quiet one!), for locating the center and the beach. The room is not large but sufficient, quite good air conditioning. You can ask for a windows to the patio (not the port) if you do not want any noise to disturb you. However, all rooms have double glazing and soundproof is perfect. Bathroom is new and nicely equipped. We didn't take any breakfast (boulangerie next door) but saw it was quite good (youhurts, cold cuts, not just usual French croissant+coffee type). We were even offered beach towels and plates for in-room meals from the hosts (very nice of them!). Overall, a very good place to stay at and reasonably priced.
