Friendly atmosphere, relaxed meal setting in courtyard
Overall, this facility had a very enjoyable ambiance with a very pleasant pool; there was excellent cuisine offered in the evening; and there was an old-fashioned billiards table available - those were the main positive features. The staff was helpful and responsive. The location is excellent to reach all the lovely sites in the Luberon. We will definitely consider returning to this lovely place.
Wifi did not work in the room (but worked flawlessly in the courtyard).
I was impressed from the drive way. You come in on a small road decorated with lavanda and pine trees, a dream. Away from the noise of the highway its perfect location to relax and enjoy. We loved the charm of this old house and impressed about the good quality renovations done inside. You dont miss anything: pool, restaurant, bar&pool, huge garden, nice views, free parking, a watch man at night etc. The family is helpful and very friendly, making your stay a pleasant as possible. And they are dog friendly!!
the view, the location ,the food, and the staff, we love the place!
Nice views it the area.Free parking.
Very bad service. We had reserved and paid for room with mountain/garden view, but we got view on a noisy restaurant. Girl in the reception was impolite. We didn't get any apologizes. Se said only that they can cancel the reservation if we want.(not free room on the same level in neighborhood - high season,we made the reservation early). Se said also that she can't describe all rooms on booking because she has many different rooms. Very slow and unstable internet. Expensive restaurant, with only four main dishes. Not possible to regulate the temperature in the room.(only one air conditioner for 4 rooms). There was an insect on the flor in the room then we came and it was still ther when we left.
Close to Rousillion, nice dinner. Nice dog Zoe!
very friendly, home from home feel about it, quiet, the food was fabulous. swimming pool, and a fantastic impressive bar....... The bedrooms were all clean, and so was the bathroom.
The beds were a little hard for us, and the bathrooms are bit outdated, no shower, but all very clean. would have been nice to have a kettle and tea and coffee provided in the room for us early riser's..
The countryside setting and grounds were lovely. I saw a hot air balloon taking off in the distance when I got up in the morning!
My room was a single room and it was TINY. Also the door was glass with a translucent curtain which made for a lack of privacy. My traveling companions' room was a double and much larger and nicer.
space, good kitchen, special breakfast
Fabulous country side excellent food and atmosphere. Recommended
Cannot come up with anything. Really enjoyed our stay
Location was beautiful. Room was spacious. Meals of breakfast and dinner were very, very good. The chef at dinner did an excellent job of preparing a gourmet dinner.
The location (quiet) is very nice, the restaurant cooks a nice dinner, it is very close to what I would call the "main attractions" of the Provence (I like to hike and adore nature ;) ) and it is a nice place to relax and enjoy a few quiet days.
Can´t think of anything ...
Attitude of the staff (especially the young lady) was impolite and arrogant which had a huge impact on the fact that we didn't quite enjoy our stay here. It started with a small issue when we told the staff that the fridge in our room wasn't working. It was a hot day and we simply wanted to cool our refreshments. This wasn't possible because the fridge was unplugged and it took until next morning to cool (a little bit). The staff responded to our complaint in a really arrogant way telling that we shouldn't complain because we got the room in a very good price...! I was also told that I shouldn't expect hotels to have fridges to be cold on arrival. Well, that was new to me. This place has lot of potential because the location and the building are beautiful - however, it needs update and for sure some staff training!
Quite place, nice staff
This French farm house was in a good location for seeing the many sights of Provence. Our room was very neat and tidy and our terrace was lovely. I liked the ambience of the inn but the very best part was how delicious the food was at dinner. Very simple dishes but delicious cuisine.
The coffee was extremely poor in taste and the hot water wasn't really hot! Every other hotel or inn we visited served us an individual pot of coffee that was hot and delicious. why can't this inn do the same.
The location is ideal; beautiful area, and easy to find with a GPS and posted signs. The restaurant accommodated our vegan diet and prepared something beautiful. Our dog was welcomed and it is a great spot if you are traveling with a pet. The bed was comfortable.
The breakfast is not a "large American breakfast" - it is simple pastries, horrible two day old coffee, and juice from a box. No fresh fruit, just preserved fruit from cans. I expected better quality considering the hotel is located in a region known for fresh produce. The room was lacking in some areas - no kettle (!!), refrigerator did not work, and furniture was mismatched.
The owner very helpfull, the rooms new and clean with a terrace and view. nice to be in the countryside with space and the smells of Provence. It has a good bar and a simple, but adequate restaurant.
The showers good exept water all over the rest of the bathroom.
The serenity of the country side location was ideal and very relaxing. The room was clean, airy and specious for my one night stay.
The property is beautiful and in an equally beautiful location in the countryside. Relaxing atmosphere and nicely decorated, keeping a country-home style. Mr. Daniel and his daughter make an excellent and welcoming team, highly personalised and attentive. F&B are great, dinner and breakfast were outstanding.
There is nothing I did not like.
The suite with terrace was perfect for us as we were travelling with dogs. The terrace was really large. The breakfast was excellent So was the food at diner.
The place is beautiful and our room had a nice view and terrace. We had dinner in the restaurant and the food was very good.
Absolutely wonderful place to stay (as long as you have a car). You can always enjoy a beautiful view of Province from the hotel. Stuffs are very friendly.
Location, in a very quiete and wonderful countryside, but around 1 km far from the main road. Room was roomy, modern and very clean.
Breakfast was not included and costed 12 euros per person everyday. Too much!
Beautiful Mas with beautiful courtyard surrounded by farm lands. Free parking but silly charge for luggage trolley. Lovely airy rooms with own stoep. Pool, pub & snooker table. Chirping of birds wakes you! Easy day trips to other towns: Mas has colourful wall poster of market towns: L'Isle sur la Sorge is a must. We also drove to Aix to see some Springbok rugby on Sport+. Breakfast @10 Euro was super! Supper was good @18 Euro but needs variety. They serve very tasty dry Rose Domaine Chasson! (OR try restaurant in main street--parking site opposite-- in nearby Le Chene for their set menu @ 20 E of exquisite Provencal cooking! ) This Mas is well situated and offers good value for money: a winner!
Family hotel;owner knows little English; daughter helps allover so only available sometimes. Wished we could eat outside in courtyard but maybe too much trouble. Weather was sunny. September hosts allover France seem too tired after high season.
