Comfortable bed, great location , the staff was very helpful. I will stay here again. The bathroom is very small. I had to step outside into the bedroom to turn around. |

The location We booked a family room, and at least expected a decent sized room. We had two singles and a pull out double that did not fold down flat, and squeeked like hell. You had to walk over the beds to get into the bathroom. Very disapointing. |

central location, clean, checkin was quick, people nice, Breakfast was limited. We were a family and didn't get joining rooms, although the ad stated there was a car park there are less spaces than rooms, so we have to park on the street. |

By reserving one of the limited number of car spaces, we gained excellent secure parking. Reservation recommended. Our particular room was an unusual tapering shape, but not sufficiently significant to warrant a request for a change of rooms. |

Hotel retained French character, and the town of Macon was surprisingly interesting to explore. Restaurant looked interesting, but was unfortunately closed on Sundays, which was the night we were staying. Receptionist gave us a map and directions to alternatives for food. |

The hotel is very near to the centre of Macon. The toilet in our room was so tiny you could hardly fit into the room and our bathroom smelled terrible ( drain smell). Breakfast was very poor not enough parking spaces compared to the number of rooms. |

The hotel was ideally situated in the centre of town, with private parking ( though very limited places). It was also quiet. Having to hand over the keys of your car at reception - where they assured us it was in case of fire, that they would not move the vehicle - and then we saw them do so. Breakfast provision was poor - as was the attitude of the staff who provided it. |

Very good location, near to the train station. Staff was not particularly helpful nor friendly. We tried to get information about cycling tours and tourist-friendly facilities. |

The room was quiet at night, also had retractible shutters that made it dark for excellent sleeping. The front desk was extrememly helpful, looking up local bus schedules for us, ordering a 6 AM cab for us, answering questions, etc., all with a pleasant manner. The location was great, near the train station and the local markets. Breakfast so-so for 9 Euros, scaffolding outside window (to be removed when painting done?) |

The hotel was well-placed- perfect for wandering around the town, close to the attractive pedestrianised area and the river. Private secluded parking was an advantage. |

The location was central, you could walk to the train station, for instance, which is ok in a city which has very few taxis... The exterior of the building is being repaired, and we had scaffolding facing our room window, and couldn´t open it properly. This aspect wasn´t mentioned by Booking, as it should be. |

Great location in the centre of Macon. Private parking. Nice bathroom. Major building work going on, so scaffolding everywhere, and very noisy in the morning. Curtains not put up to prevent light coming into the room. Parking and getting out difficult, particularly as workmen everywhere with vans. |
