Great hotel, centre of town with private parking. Excellent breakfast
proximity to shops and restaurants
shops are closed on Monday!
Easy walk into town, good restaurant next door, secure parking, nice area
no negative comments
Good attitude from staff and Breakfast
The first room we were offered
Really loved this hotel and Staff, and car park, I would stay there again, as it was raining during our stay, but they supplied us with umbrellas.
Location and parking available
Good secure garage space and no problem leaving early next morning.
Chamber was very small and the offer of upgrade did not reach us ( by email) until after we booked in no mention was made of possible upgrade by the hotel.
The hotel is in a nice square in the town centre, the rooms are basic but comfortable and the breakfast very good and whilst they do not have a restaurant there are bars in the square and an absolutely great restaurant next door. A leisurely walk through the shopping streets brings you out on the riverside with a good choice of further restaurants.
The bathroom did not have a proper shower (just hand held unit from a mixer tap) and was a little cramped, it would not do for a long stay but overnight is fine.
Friendly personel. Nice room. Good location. Great breakfast!
Shower in the bath is somewhat unhandy. Maybe it differs in other rooms.
Very convenient for shops and restaurants. Secure parking onsite. Good air conditioning.
Hotel charged 10 euros to store 2 bicycles in a garage that already held 1 car. Never been charged storage in France before. Cyclists beware.
Nice hotel which has retained lots of the interesting features of the building. Great location in the centre of town close to bars an restaurants etc. Beds we're very comfortable.
Our room right on the top floor was a bit pokey and the additional charge for parking was a bit steep.
Cosy bar & pool table. No restaurant but excellent one literally next door.
Quite rigid parking regulations but useful to get car off the road.
Just north of the historical center and about 5 minutes from the train station. Modern updates to rooms and bathrooms while keeping historical charm in the shared spaces. Helpful staff.
Very well located on a corner of the main road but quiet nice rooms. Worth booking a parking space as looks like on street parking would be some distance away. We parked 3 motorbikes in a single space. Nice old building with plenty of charm.
Airconditioning, comfortable beds, good location
Parking space very restricted, keys taken away by reception once parked. Breakfast good but expensive for what it is
Location. Secure parking. Good breakfast
good location, beautiful interieur
No way to put the shower on a hold. internet connection had to be renewed every time you opened the iPad or computer.
It all, very hospitable staff
if the rooms would be like the lobby, it would be great. The room was like a budget hotel. No glasses, the info book was "stolen" by previous guests and inspite of asking not replaced. Very spartanic.
Great location, pleasent rooms and the staff were very attentive.
très bien situé
plus de restaurant!
You felt as though you were entering a part of history, the Hotel was good but parking the car you looked around & could picture where the stables once were plus where the carriages were kept. We took the lift when we arrived, but then used the stairs for all other times, they were well worn. This is an Hotel that has been used by travellers for many a year but the welcome at the desk hasn’t faded
Macon deserves more than an overnight
Excellent location. Interesting multicolored disco-lights in the room. Comfortable beds. Fresh-squeezed orange juice with the (pretty expensive) breakfast.
The restaurant surrounded by the hotel (I don't know if it's actually part of the hotel) called something like the Cafe des Champs Elysees, was quite poor. The floors aren't flat but are carpeted, so it's easy to trip going from one end of the hallway to the other.
