In the Thermes de Marlioz Park in Aix-les-Bains, this hotel is just over half a mile from the center of town and the train station, and just under a mile from Lake Bourget.

Just 330 ft from the beaches and the esplanade of the Lac du Bourget, near the Place du Grand Port of Aix-Les-Bains, 5 minutes from the center of the city and shopping areas, the hotel offers sauna...

Hotel Aquakub is located in Aix-les-Bains, 650 ft from Lake Bourget. It offers an indoor pool and a health and fitness center and a restaurant with panoramic views of the lake.
Score from 271 reviews Good
Located in the beautiful countryside surrounding Aix-les-Bains, Villa Marlioz offers spacious rooms, all of which feature a balcony.
Score from 236 reviews Good
Well located and good value in a beautiful area with secure parking and breakfast (although the breakfast room has no window and is slightly gloomy).
No hotel restaurant but several alternatives within 200 metres.
View of lake, good facilities, pleasant staff and surprisingly good wi-fi.
It should be noted this hotel is outside the town and is quite a walk away.

Distance from main centre
Location was great near the lake, big parking place, the rooms were clean, having a nice balcony; it is better to book a room on the same part with the parking, otherwise there is a lot of noise coming from the restaurant near the hotel. Very kind staff.
The big price of the breakfast, the rooms don't have air conditioning.
Arrived at start of last day of summer celebrations and saw the air show. Hotel beautifully positioned yards from lake. We had a room with small balcony and lake view.
Had to ask several times for wi fi reception to be operational. Finally achieved after several hours.
Great views of the lake. one minute walk to lake. Close to many restaurants, parks, tourist info, bike hire etc. Four person studia very good as were the two connecting rooms we stayed in as well. Helpful staff. Restaurant under hotel excellent too.
This was our first visit it Aix les Bains so we were very pleased with our hotel choice. Firstly the location was superb - right by Le Grand Port. The lakeside was just seconds away. Our room on the side overlooking the park was a great place to watch the world go by, taking advantage of the free items in the mini bar! The ceiling fan was just what was needed to keep the room cool and made for very a very good sleep in the warm weather. Breakfast was very nice, especially the oranges and juicer to make absolutely fresh juice. The car park was an added bonus - no parking problems for us as we sat smugly on our balcony watching others driving round and round!
Everything was excellent for us but we would not have liked a room on the side fronting the lake as these were above the restaurant with all it's pavement terrace area
Nice location close to the lake Good "do-it-yourself" breakfast Friendly reception
Very noisy during night (traffic and shouting people) Lift not working
A clean and comfortable hotel conveniently close to surrounding restaurants. Serves a good buffet breakfast. Boat trips available right outside the hotel. Combines the buzz of marina life with easy access to tranquil surrounding countryside.
Think carefully before opting for the lake views as these rooms also get the sounds from a busy restaurant.
Great location, friendly staff, good breakfast. Pizzeria & bars etc on the doorstep as is the lake. Room had a balcony (most seem to) and the rate was very reasonable
Great situation for this hotel overlooking the marina with lots of bars and restaurants nearby. There is a Pizza/French restaurant under the hotel which can get busy but as most of the rooms have balconies, some have good views of the lake. We chose the superior double room which is larger but it did have a slightly "tired " look to the decor. Good breakfast - even had eggs and bacon one day. Good for shops, station and promenading along the side of the lake. Also close to nature/eco park away from the busy tourist side of the marina. Free parking at rear of hotel
Notice on lift door" lift not working" - we struggled with heavy suitcases and reception did let us use it as we had a room on the second floor
Staff not attentive at all. Lift not operating and they just watched while I carried first my own bag and then my wife's upstairs to our room.
Location is great. If do not plan to stay at the room but explore the area, this would be a good choice. I felt that this area in general has quite poor hotel facilities, so this one at least has a nice owner and is very conveniently located.
However, if you want to relax in your room and read from time to time - this would be a wrong choice. The room is very small and stuffy. One can open a window, but it gets noisy (and I could not use a ventilator, because my eyes with contact lenses are quite sensitive). The bed is comfortable, but again it was so hot that I did not sleep well and got back to the office on Monday very tired.
Staff holding our luggage hostage: When we asked to leave our luggage whilst we went for a walk on the morning of our final day the receptionist agreed and placed the bags in a secure room. When we returned after lunch we were met with a sign explaining that reception was 'exceptionally closed'. Staff were not contactable due to the failure of their own interphone system and failure to answer any of the numbers listed on the site. When, with the assistance of a local taxi driver, we did locate a member of staff in an adjoining property she was utterly unapologetic, confrontational and could not accept that we had missed our train due to the incompetence of management.
Great location on the late, especially as i Washington travelling with my two dogs. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Also found a good restaurant acrosss the road.
Excellent breakfast, good WiFi in the room, big free parking.
The rich, fresh, non-"industrial" breakfast The newly renovated bathroom
Breakfast buffet was really good.
The room that we had booked and got confirmed was "not available" upon arrival and we were given one that was presumably "better" but definitely was not.
Location. While originally we had not been allocated a room on the lake the friendly receptionist gave us a family room with lake view.
A bit rundown and more of a business hotel than a holiday destination compared with others we stayed at.
The hotel is well located for a biking holiday and for taking cruises on the lake.
