For a middle/low budget hotel, we got a way nicer room than we could have hoped for: - location is good and pretty central - beds were super comfortable - shower had hot water - both breakfast and reception was done by a very pleasant woman with a smile on her face (as opposed to some other places)
It was quite difficult to log on to the wifi and perhaps a little manual or simplifying it would be better. Nonetheless, as soon as I was connected, the signal and speed was good!
Very nice room and bathroom with modern furnishings and fittings. Helpful staff with good English. Good breakfast. Was too tired to take tram into town, but had very acceptable evening meal at nearby old style Italian restaurant.
Difficult to find as satnav goes to wrong address on southern half of Rue de Vilde which continues North across Av de Republique, which I didn't appreciate initially. Better to approach from the North via Av Andre Maginot.
Very friendly and responsive administrator.
Sizeable three person bedroom (especially compared to most French hotelrooms which tend to be very small). The personal was friendly and accurate, the location is a bit remote from the centre of Tours, but very quite at night. Tours at night can be lively, so one of my first attention points. As I say remote, there seems to be a very new and good tram connection into the city but I didn't try this out.
Parking space was a bit limited in front of the hotel, but parking a bit further in the street is no problem and free of charge. The breakfast was very basic and relatively expensive compared to the quality. Still a hotel I could recommend and will come back to for next one night stopover in Tours.
Parking on site. Good continental breakfast.
Modern & CLEAN with very friendly staff
Staff good. Room generally good and well decorated. Beds comfy.
Lights not kept on in passageways. Common areas poorly decorated. Toilet ran water all night. Front of hotel need painting. Shower did not work, and was cold.
Very friendly quiet area and close to the main tram line.
no bar facility
The shower, the garden
We weren't there long enough as we had a very early start so only used it for sleeping accommodation didn't even have time for breakfast. Hotel very hard to find
very friendly staff, good comfort level. quiet.
sort of hard to find in the night for the first time (some how my tomtom gps refused to find it).
Very friendly welcome at the front desk, lots of local information and advice given with a very handy little map of the town. Room was very clean, neat and tidy and perfect for an overnight stay. Modern decor and super shower! With fast free WiFi ..Will definitely be staying again in future!
No lift was a bit of a pain with a lot of luggage but not a deal breaker
Secure parking just in front of the hotel. Quiet environment. Kind and informative reception. Breakfast was decent. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.
helpful friendly front desk. Simple but clean and comfortable room.
Excellent for the price. The room was very clean and spacious. Modern, well equipped bathroom. Welcoming and friendly staff. Good Wi-Fi connection. We will likely stay here again next time when we want to see some more castles of the Loire Valley.
The room was very clean and had a comfortable bed and a very nice bathroom. Location was excellent as you can catch the tram 3 stops and you're in the centre of Tours.
Lovely warm welcome. Room was fab and well decorated and furnished. Excellent for the price. The breakfast was great for the money. Simple but plenty of it. Owner was so welcoming to our toddler too.
Nothing really. The outside was a bit deceiving but we only saw it in the dark. We liked it!
On site parking. Proximity to Loire, chateau, golf and wine region. Friendly atmosphere and very efficient and helpful proprietress
Friendliness of hotel staff
The economy model is
The bathroom is a bit small
We only stayed here for 1 night because we were travelling. The hotel is small and inside a residential area but being in a quiet area and able to park your car in front of the door was nice. The city centre is a 20 minute walk.
Friendly owner who went out of her way to help with things to do and directions
Kindness of personal, bed, size of the room.
There is no frigobar in the room.
Breakfast Wifi Parking Helpful receptionist Shower
I loved the fact that the hotel had a B&B feel because the owners live there, work the front desk, and serve the breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean. The owner spoke excellent English and was very helpful.
Good value for money, really clean room - we stayed in a triple room and ordered an additional cot for our family of two adults and two children (aged 7 and 20 months) - very polite and helpful staff, only a short drive into Tours
