Excellent friendly staff.

Close to railway station and comfortable budget choice for overnight in Calais before or after ferry crossing as foot passenger. Good breakfast served till midday

The staff were helpful and let me store by bicycle in their shed. Breakfast was open till late and of good quality. Rooms were clean and comfortable. An absolute bargain.

only stayed for one night, hotel was very clean, staff helpful, only a couple of minutes from calais train station , and about 5 minutes from town center

Excellent central location, walking distance from the train station. The staff were helpful and we found there was plenty to eat for breakfast. I would highly recommend for those on a budget who need ease of access to the ferries and transport routes.

There are a few items that need fixing. I am not sure about the flashing red sign outside. It's basic!

I stayed on new years eve and the hotel in the city centre.

The room stunk smoking, walls so thin you hear next room s farting. The lift was out of order the restaurtant carpet was dirty and the breakfast so basic no eggs what so ever. At booking they promised a free wifi, but in reality no wifi in rooms just down stairs at the office. I rate this hotel 1/2 star and will never go there again

We have stayed in this Hotel many times and always have had a nice stay.

This time the lift was not working at all and in her words has been for a while. We had to use the stairs which are spiral are very dangerous. The Lady on reception told us to use one particular staircase because the other was poorly lit and the handrails were missing or broken. Our room was on the 4th floor which we tried but it was to difficult so we got her to change our room on the 1st floor. We will come back, but, I would suggest that if the lift is not working, we should have been notified.

A fair price. Good breakfast selection and a comfortable bed.

Other guests were noisy in the morning. The breakfast area had not been hoovered for a few days.

Great service, room clean, actually whole hotel was clean. Price was excellent for 3 persons staying in 1 room. Breakfast was great and staff was very helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel

The location was perfect for our purposes as we were about to take the Eurotunnel. There's a parking house two minutes away.

However the receptionist was incompetent. Altho we were there for Christmas eve so we think maybe she doesn't normally work there. The internet only worked in the lobby!

No TCMF in room.

This is the third time we have stayed in the hotel since September. The previous two stays we had a room on the 1st floor, but this time we were on the 3rd floor. The room was of moderate size with plenty of surface space for your case and belongings. It was clean and the heater worked well. The bed was comfortable and we slept well both nights; some outside noise from traffic. The lobby and dinning area was comfortable, clean and well heated.

On my previous two stays the shower and cubicle have been excellent, however this time the cubicle and curtain needed replacing. The curtain had had some dodgy repairs done to it and the cubicle was very small - the floor got quite wet.

It was in a great position for what we wanted - their 'sister' restaurant is very good. We've eaten there often before and as usual weren't disappointed.

I marked my room "do not disturb" however, the room was still entered and unnecessarily made up. I marked "do not disturb" becauseI left valuables in the room and di not want anyone having access I would have liked a hair drier too

The desk staff were superb. Very efficient and friendly. The rooms were clean and warm. Breakfast was good.

Satnav had no difficulty finding hotel location but unfortunately the location proved to be the main street and hotel entrance is on a one-way side street. The private parking was not available as "someone has lost the key"! Ooops!

Unpretentious, clean and tidy and quiet even though it's town centre
