This hotel is just a quarter mile from Rue de Bac Metro Station and less than half a mile from the Musée D’Orsay.

Everything was just great Metro aroudn the corner Very friendly staff Beautifully furnished rooms - felt just like home
So good they even served breakfast an hour after it was meant to finish! Lovely hotel and very friendly staff. Highly recommend this hotel.
Very nice design, making the most of the (typically Paris) small space. Good shower, everything set up well in the bath. Good size bed (that is, bigger than usual in Paris).
The hotel is on a noisy street. I had asked for a quiet room explicitly, but I couldn't even open the windows at night, it was so noisy. Starting at 6:00 in the morning the street cleaners and garbage man were busy ... there basically was a time window of about 5 hours every night where I could get proper sleep.
design breakfast staff wifi
might be noisy in the morning difficult parking system (1,5 km away). Only one spot available for 12 E.
24 hours open reception very clean bathroom
What a gem - spotless, very comfortable, imaginative modern decor & good sized room compared to many other Parisian hotels. Staff were helpful, breakfast was excellent and the in room Nespresso machine was a nice touch. Would I recommend this hotel? Absolutely although selfishly I'd hate it to become too popular!
Offers exactly what it promises in the Booking. The room was chic and clean decorated. The room is not large, but who does really need a large bedroom, when Paris is on the outside?!? Staff is very helpful and kind. Excellent location. Soundproof windows worked very well. As someone mentioned before, the neighborhood is residential and very quiet, we got a good glimpse of the Parisienne life. The wifi worked very well, we used skype with camera from a smartphone without problem.
The ONLY thing I would say in the early days of our stay is that there was no door on the shower - which wet the bathroom floor while showering. But, a door was installed before the end of our stay (what a surprise when we get back to hotel at night). From there on, I had NOTHING to complain ...;-)
The hotel felt like home. The staff was great and very helpful. There is a small but delicious breakfast every morning.
The hotel is a bit expensive. Everything is small: room, bathroom, elevator. The area is ok.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and quiet. Metro station was quite near, downtown is about 15 min away. Nice neighbourhood. Nice breakfast. It's peaceful, cosy, safe and decent hotel.
The room was too tiny. After shower every where gets soaked wet. At night it used to get cooler but we couldn't turn the AC heater on.
Amazingly comfortable beds Great rain shower Wi-fi was free and quick Everything was really clean Fixtures and fittings a cut above the 3 star rating Super friendly staff 20 mins from Gare Du Nord on the Metro
No cups in room to use with Nespresso Machine Wish a light breakfast had been included in the cost of the room
friendly and helpful stuff excellent location near to a metro station clean room
Staff were friendly. Good metro station nearby (Alesia). Great bistro and bakery across the road from the hotel. Excellent outdoor area off some rooms. Would stay here again.
Bed super comfy, great location two minute walk metro, plenty great cafés bars close by, friendly helpful staff, clean, modern creatively decorated. Loved the nespreso machine in room - nice touch. Very much enjoyed our stay.
Warm welcome from staff. Excellent room (as requested) with balcony surrounded by lavender. Delicious breakfast. Good bistrot across the road.
Nothing (though the lift is tiny - normal for Paris!)
Speedy check-in, speedy check-out. It’s situated near subway so you can get in the centre in almost 15 minutes which is great. French bakeries, pharmacies and so many restaurants are situated near hotel. You can make your own coffee for free at hotel room because there is a Nespresso machine in every room. Staff is very friendly and hotel is very modern, fresh and clean in boutique style. And I almost forgot to mention that mattress were like heaven! I can’t say a bad thing about this hotel.
We really enjoyed our time in Hotel Max. The rooms were perfect, modern and clean, with lovely decorations and art. The place was easy to get to and truly enjoyed our stay.
It would have been nice to have the coffee refilled each day and additional towels - although when we asked for this it came immediately, so no complaints at all!
We really loved the hotel. Everything about it is nice. It is not too big, so everything seems more personal, the staff is very nice, always happy to help, the rooms was very clean, not very big but just perfect for us. The WiFi works perfectly, that is something that I value a lot. Everything was comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay. This was definately my first of many times.
I don't want to seem overly positive, but I really can't think of anything I didn't like about this hotel. For me and my girlfriend it was just the perfect match.
Close to metro Very quiet Clean modern rooms Beautiful terrace with pretty view Reception staff exceptional polite helpful and very friendly Air conditioning in room (silent) Very safe 24 hour reception
Contemporary recently renovated hotel in older building. Shape of building means every room is unique. Has a lift. Easy access to Metro (1 block). 24-hour front desk. Friendly and helpful staff wanting to practice their English and tolerant of our meager French. We did not have breakfast in the hotel, preferring croissants from the bakery across the street and coffee at one of several neighborhood bars.
Elevator door was sometimes a bit dodgy, requiring "encouragement" to engage the interlocks allowing lift to operate. Maintenance man was on-site as we were leaving.
Simple and clean room but the room is small
Room do not have kettle, so if you like to drink hot water, think twice. The writing table combined together with the washing basin. The bathroom is tiny.
We really enjoyed the neighborhood where the hotel is located. It is not a tourist area and yet 10 minutes on the subway to the tourist areas. Restaurants in the area are great and locals are very friendly. Hotel was a surprised because it was more than we expected. Loved it.
Nothing to dislike. It was great.
We had a really good night's sleep thanks to the bed which is just perfect. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly, not the fastest but it worked. The receptionist is really friendly Spacious room A lovely and relaxing rainshower
Perhaps the chairs and tables in the breakfast area are too low to the ground for elderly people, but it didn't bother us (25 years of age)
Very nice, comfortable and cozy hotel in Paris.
Location is not central, although the metro station is very close to the hotel. Recepcionist at night did not speak English.
The staff were wonderful and went well beyond the call of duty. All of them were friendly, welcoming and informative. The art works were great. It was like staying in a beautiful art gallery.
