Score from 59 reviews Good
airconditioning didn't work, and fridge wasn't cold
with AC! most hotels there dont have AC, except for the expensive hotels of course. We enjoyed our stay very much.
staff needs to learn to communicate more in english
Staff were nice and helpfull, many restaurants around, walking distance to train station, metro and moulin rouge
Staff didnt speak good english
Recently renovated rooms; Very clean and comfortable; Friendly and helpful staff; Close to metro stop.
While it is close to M13's Liege station, it is actually quite a bit walking distance from the more convenient Saint-Lazare station (M3, M12, M13, M14). If you choose to start your trip from Liege, you would almost have to make 2 transfers to any place, which takes quite a bit of time. We ended up skipping Liege and walking to/from Saint-Lazare every time.
Staff was helpful and the location is great, walking distance from Opera and main shopping streets
Breakfast is not great at all, just in a nearby cafe you can find fresh food for less money than at the hotel. The room is far from perfect too, the hotel could use some renovations of the walls and bathrooms.
Location and cleaniness
Good location. Nice decor but the room is quite small. Clean. Nice breakfast but very expensive at €13each
Small room and a bit far out although close to the Metro
Overall, our stay of two nights went quite well. Location was excellent - just 2-3 minutes of walk to metro station Liege and maybe around 15 mins of walk from the region Montmartre, Moulin Rouge, etc. so that you can enjoy the night and walk back to the hotel without paying a cab. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was decent. We shared a room of three and (contrary to the previous reviews we read on the site) the size of the room was quite ok.
The only thing that bothered us a little bit was that there was an unpleasant smell in the bathroom. The bathroom was cleaned properly, that was not the problem. Probably the smell came from the evacuation pipes or something like that, I don't know... It's not a big deal, but the hotel might consider fixing this.
Old and poor interior, very small room, only French TV
It is very noisy especially in the morning
The nighttime staff was extremely rude: I asked for medicine for insect bites at 2 a.m. and we could not communicate all that well in English. In the end he said "it is not my problem, it is your problem." When I told him this attitude was not proper he shouted and chased me (really!) When I complained the next day, the daytime staff first tried to downplay the event. I insisted on seeing the manager, who was not available on the weekend. I further insisted and finally another manager from the same hotel chain helped me change hotels (she was extremely helpful and nice). On a minor point, the room for three does not have a bed as shown in the picture; it is pullout sofa - not suitable for older children to sleep on.
Close to a metro stop, clean rooms, good wifi connection, delicious breakfast (but was pricey €13 a person). Didnt know breakfast was not included.
Upon check-in reception said "breakfast is here at this time." Didnt mention the extra charge, but my bad for not asking. Also didnt offer to give us a map of Paris and the maps were behind the counter (which was fine for me since I had been to Paris a few times already and had my map from before, but most hotels ask if you need one or have the maps on the counter). The guy at check out was rude and though I couldn't do math.
The staff service was excellent, I thank every single one of them
The metro was only a short walk from the hotel and there was a few bars in the area. On check out day the hotel held onto our luggage for us which was very handy!
the wifi signal was very weak in our room
The location of the hotel is perfect. Very nice and kind stuff who ready to help every time.
The location, the staff (very nice and friendly), the bathroom (well renovated)
The rooms have thin walls, I could hear water running, people shouted etc
I like the location most. It is strategic and very convenience.
The wifi connectivity is slow and not stable at all.
nice location,interested staff,clean rooms,sufficient breakfast,exactly commendable to everyone.
It was comfortable and spacious. great staff - from reception, breakfast room and cleaning staff. Good location and walking distance to the theatre and other attractions. Breakfast was very good and continuously replenished. I accidentally left a jewelery box behind and the staff kept it for me and I got everything intact!
The hotel is near the metro station and near the shopping center. The staff was friendly
The room we rented was supposed to be 24m2. Instead, we stayed in an 18m2 room. The bathroom door didn't close.
Close to the metro station.
Very small rooms, not what was shown on the site. Expensive.
Great location, double room good size by Paris standards.Staff are friendly.
location within walking distance from Galeries Lafayette and other stores. Ibrahim welcoming us and very helpful to answer quwstions during our stay.
Room was very small for family of 3 adults, WiFi not dependable on 5th floor, had to go down to reception, running out of toilet paper as skimpy supplies, overpriced for what we got
The location - it is very close to our son's apartment.
The staff are really rude and unhelpful. The room was quite large but it had very poor lighting and a step down just beside the bed so it was dangerous. It was noisy.
