Very close to Paris Nord and Gare d' Est. Bathroom was very clean. Stairs very narrow and not elevator. Room was extremely small even for 2 people. The walls are so thin that you can hear people when they sneeze at their room. Horrible neighborhood. Drunk people partying (yelling, screamimg) right across the hotel (in the middle of the street) all night long.

Staff is very nice, and everything is clean. We were on the 5th floor, without elevator with very steep and narrow stairways.. To bring four suitcases for four of us was extremely hard.

Hotel pubilicizes they are 4 minutes walk from Gare De Nord. That is incorrect. They are about 12-15 minutes walk. Staff is very rude. Rooms are very small and they do not provide even a small bar of soap for washing hands. Over all very poor experience. Would never consider it again.

Loved the location, just a short walk to the station Gare d'Est, and to a stop for the green hop on hop off bus. The breakfast we had there was perfect for the start of a day of sightseeing, baquette, croissant, butter & jam, coffee or tea, and juice, so we just needed a snack for lunch. Fantastic patisserie around the corner and plenty of restaurants to choose from in the area that were very reasonably priced. La moderne piano bar up the road had a 3 course meal for €13.90. The hotel is in a very multicultural area which seemed a little daunting at first, but it really was great. The stairs - but we aren't all that young or fit either. The rooms with showers are on the lower floors. We were on the third. If you want a bath, they are on the higher levels. Friends were on Lvls 5&6. I believe the smoking rooms are higher also.

Price vs location ok. Anywhere near the Gare Du Nord or Gare L'est are lets say, not the nicest place to be in Paris. Being close to the station has its price. Top floor room (4th floor) without elevator.

Bathroom was really tidy Warm bedroom Tidy sheets Breakfast (for 5,5€) No lift can cause trouble for someone with more than 1 bag. We only had one bag, so, going to the 5th floor by stairs was not a problem.

Checking out next morning-had bkd 3 nights originally Advertised 750 metres from station (GDN)-much further. Area-loads of groups of blokes hanging around-not the best. Room shabby. Could not even walk around both sides of the bed-one side crammed in to the wall. Bathroom-not room to swing a cat-could barely sit on w/c and shut door. Corridors stank of cigarette smoke. Walls paper thin-very noisy people coming up and down stairs

Exactly what expected for the money over New Year's Eve. Being in Paris never intended spending alot of time in the hotel so basic was all that was needed. Fresh bedding and towels daily. As expected and for the amount which was laid cant fault the hotel. You do have to leave your key behind the reception at all times which I felt was uneccessary but this was no real problem

Booked and stayed for one night in order to have a tour of paris before returning home from Disneyland. Room was for 2 adults & 2 kids, not huge but for one night was adequate size. Beds were very comfortable and we all slept well. Bathroom had everything we needed. Room & bathroom were clean. No lift meant lugging cases up stairs, we were (thankfully) only on 2nd floor. Not the best area of Paris & a bit daunting on the streets with young kids
