we had an extra child with us, and the staff was very upset with the fact. the rooms are small, smelly and you share the toilet with all on your floor. no lift is avaliable so be prepared to hike up a small widing staircase. |

Very kind personnel. Good location with quick and easy access to Metro station. Daily cleaning make the room nice. Good price comparable to other hotels. Lack of airconditioning. |

Friendly front service and following up and location is excellent. There is no elevator and I stayed in 6th floor, I am so tired everytime when I went up or went down. |

The stairs to the fifth floor room was narrow and difficult to negotiate with or without baggage - I shudder to think about how the hotel would be evacuated in an emergency. |

The hotel was centrally located for sights, restaurants and shops. There is no lift at the hotel. Upon arrival, with luggage, we were allocated a room on the 6th floor, but we were relocated to a lower floor on the second day. |

Location: Near Gare du East station. The walk upto fifth floor with luggage was too much. |

Very good value for the money; hard to find better in Paris. The neighborhood is not great. Watch out for pickpockets. Not recommended for inexperienced travelers or single ladies. |

It's close to Gare du Nord. Some interesting ethnic restaurants within walking distance. Should be a warning for unfit people - had to go up 6 floors on a narrow, spiral staircase with our luggage. Luckily, we are both fit and not overweight and our luggage was not too bulky and heavy! Others on our floor was left panting. The W.Cs. are OK for slender people only but the facilities were all very clean and tidy |

No tea/coffee making facilities in room...Charged for coffee.. Pillows are like bricks, but on request was given softer ones...avoid the chateu'deu metro station and walk extra few mins to gare de l'est - much nicer and safer. |

The location of the hotel was good, in an interesting, diverse area, and close to the Metro. The staff were friendly. Our room was small, dark and depressing, with an internal window into a dark cavity. The shared toilet was - in all seriousness - among the smallest toilets in the world. You could hardly sit on the loo - for a particularly large person it would have been impossible. |

the location was very good because of the two metro stations near the hotel. It was a quite area near to center where you can go on foot. The staff was not helpfull. There was not lift. |

I liked that the window opened and that I could smoke.Stairs were steep and no lift.Indifferent night staff but day staff OK.Good for cheap short city stay. The shower was on the floor below and the toilet was Tiny with no hand basin. |

it was cheap and central lokated, the reception was open 24h. It's very noisy, when other guests get home in the middle of the night it almost feels like their in the same room. |

Good location, near main train stations including Gare du Nord, Gare de l'est and metro. The room price is also reasonable. Main staircase is too small, especially with big luggages. |

I requested a room on the ground floor or lower level as I had very heavy luggage and had just completed a 26 hr flight and they took no notice and placed me on the 5 floor and did not offer to help. |
