The staff were very helpful and courteous. The room had a strange odor and guests are required to leave their key at the desk while away from the hotel. I have to reason to think this is a bad idea but people should be forewarned. |

Location is very good, When long stairs were gone up to the fifth floor, I felt that time travel was carried out to Paris early in the 20th century. It is hoped an old building remains as it is reasonable for the cost. |

The hotel is close to railway stations Paris North and Paris East. However, during evenings the area is packed with afro-europeans looking for sexual engagements, like in some of the former French colonies at best. Their pimps may become aggressive if you slow down your pace, and to put it mildly, the police looks extremely democratic, harming no one. No pimps, of course. The room and lobby need lots of refurbishing. The heating is not working well, sanitary installations are old and unfunctional, no soap or shampoo, the towels were shady grey with unbearable smell. The bathroom has no heating whatsoever, door cannot shut well, main door also needs some wedge to stay shut. There were a small TV without remote control, and you can chose amongst 5 French channels. The pillow was a stone strip of 20 cm broad by one metre long. |

The attendants were very kind! Also, this is a good hotel for single travelers which will expend the whole day in Paris. The hotel is located close to the station Gare Du Nord and you can get there easily by walking. The toillet and the shower room were clean. Because it is a old building, there is no elevator. So, maybe you will have to go 6 floors up to get your room. |

It was very accessible to the Metro. The staff dealt with you in a straightforward way. The room was cleaned everyday. The room I was given was beside the stairs so people going up and down could be heard all night. The staff were not very friendly to tourists, not very helpful in giving directions. I do not recommend this hotel for vacation and tourist trip, it is good for those who go on business trips. |

Staff were freindly and helpfull. Though their knowledge about the city & recreational facilities in the city, would further enhance customer service (as they couldnt name even one discotheque in the city, except for the areas) No elevators and my room was in the 6th floor.Hotel website said shared Bathrooms, but never mentioned there are no Bathrooms on 4th, 5th and 6th floors and all have to use the one in 3rd floor....... |

The fact that it was conveniently located to the train station and most of the tourist attractions. The ensuite toliet was also clean and big. Really value for money and much better than staying at a backpackers' hostel; and at about the same price too! |

The thing that I liked most about the Jarry Hotel was their high quality of professionalism. The staff made sure the tenants were comfortable. |

It was a very nice, but lillte hotel. We lived i room 36 (the last room) at the 6th floor... So many stairs, but it was okay. The toilets were very small, and I can imagine that it would be a pain to live besides them -the doors and walls are very thin. But the room was okay, and clean. That was Nice. A cheap og good hotel for the money! |

The curfew, and the fact that there was no elevator - our room was on the top floor, and my boyfriend has problems with his knee because his kneecap was shattered a few years ago, so going up and down the windy staircase was a little painful for him. |

The staff was very friendly and correct. The rooms were comfortable for the price. The location was good, not far from the Gare du Nord. If you have reserved a room without an en-suite, take into account that there is only one shower in the hotel, and that is on the 3rd floor. So, if your room is on the 6th floor you will have to go down 3 flights of stairs. |

really noisy: maybe because only of a class or group of people, but you hear everything from one floor to the other... toilets and shower in the corridor and not inside the room |

The staff were very friendly and the hotel seemed secure. Nothing went missing. Pleased that the bathroom was ensuite. Disappointed that there was no shower rail, nor a bath plug. And a few things were in need of repair. |

We did like the room we were orignally staying in but after they moved all our stuff to another room without asking us I was not impressed by the hotel at all! Its not in a good location, it is a long walk to everything. The bed we spent both nights in was uncomfortable and noisy. None of the doors closed properly inc. The bathroom. The staff only speak when spoken to. |

I only liked the location close to train station. Rooms are untidy and there are termites on the carpet. Bedsheets are not clean. Staircase is so small that you can not climb with that bags and if you ask staff for the the help then he will seat and watch tv but does not help customer. They requested for the cash payment not credit card. I have to rush to atm to withdraw money. I would not recommend any one. This is not priceline standard hotel. I have booked rooms so many times from priceline and this is first very bad experience |

The staff made some last-minute changes to accommodate some extra family members. The market street behind the hotel had the spirit of old Paris, a great place for ethnic food. |
