Hôtel Josse  

Hotel Josse was all we hoped for! Right across the street from the beach, comfortable bed, air conditioning, quiet at night, nice shower in bathroom, very helpful front desk staff, good breakfast. The only precaution I would give is we had two flights of stairs to get to our bedroom so handicapped access might be a concern.

The atmosphere on entering the lobby was immediately very welcoming and the staff most obliging.It had the feeling of a family hotel by its friendliness. On the last day, the concierge booked us a taxi to the station and the taxi driver received a call enroute from the hotel to say that I had left my handbag in the lobby.! We were so touched at the honesty.

The hotel was just across from the beach. Although next to a busy road the soundproofing in the room was brilliant and we didn't hear any noise. The rooms were very clean and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful

The hotel was a little tired and would benefit from a lick of paint.

The hotel was not too big and staff were very pleasant and helpful. It was well situated to access beach (across road), restaurants, ramparts and town on foot. The room was spacious and airy.

Bathroom could benefit from refurbishment but was always clean.

Location is great: across the road there are two good sandy beaches, in 7 minutes walking old Antibes is located with museums, nice restraunts, shops, attractions, railway station, another resort Juan le Pins is also in walking distance. Besides, hotel is very quite, though located near the road, and has a lot of nice plants on the terrace. Hotel staff is excellent: extremely friendly, very helpful. Rooms are not small, all necessary things are in : enough plugs, mirror, quite big cabinet for your things, safety box is free, air condioning is working very well. Breakfast is simple, but always fresh and good and we didn't get tired of it!

The only things, what we didn't like, are beds. They are very narrow. WiFi was working in the room with interruptions.

Our room was very very basic. The bed uncomfortable. The door lock difficult to use. Curtains not sufficient block-out so room too light. All very dated. Location very noisy. No real sea view as beach obscured by trees. A member of staff unlocked the door and was coming into our room around 10.30 pm when we had just gone to bed.

I had a great experience at this hotel. I even returned there for alonger period of time. The staff was great and very helpful even if I did not speak french. The breakfast was very nice compared to others I experienced at other hotels. It is a great location right across from the beach and close to all shopping areas that you will need...melissa snider

Large room with balcony and sea view. We paid extra for the sea view and it was worth it. Short walk (10 mins) to old town, marina, good choice of restaurants, market etc.

Bar was closed v early (before 10pm) , there was a machine to dispense drinks but it would have been nice to sit and enjoy a drink in the bar after a meal out rather than just have to go back to our room.

Hôtel hors de prix par rapport au confort. Cet hôtel ne mérite pas ses 3 étoiles. Chambres vieillottes, banales.On a payé 12 euros de parking pour un parking vétuste, d'où l on ne peut pas entrer ni sortir sans déranger 1 personne, voir plusieurs voitures garées derrière, et en ouvrant 2 portes de garage. Vraiment pas facilement accessible.J Ai vraiment l impression de m'être fait rouler sur le prix pour une prestation aussi médiocre.....177 Euros pour ça ! c'est simple, ça a gâché mon week end !

j'ai aimé sa proximité de la mer et de la ville historique;il faut marcher un peu pour visiter Antibes,mais ce n'est pas plus mal.Malheureusement il pleuvait...ça arrive partout.

Les salles de bain paraissent un peu vieillotes,le petit déjeuner est banal.
