Friendly and efficient reception staff Proximity to good restaurants Rooms comfortable Breakfast plentiful though not cheap Close to a Metro station and Montmartre but in a quiet neighbourhood
The smallest lift ever seen :-)
Size of room too small.
Friendly staff, good position, appreciated the complimentary refreshment bar. Very clean.
Buffet breakfast runs out !
Friendly staff, size and decor of rooms, location
The staff were really helpful and accommodating, it was spotlessly clean and the design is quirky and fun. Free wi-fi is great, ditto afternoon snacks and drinks and it was blissfully quiet at night. I would definitely stay there again!
Breakfast is a little pricey.
Staff very friendly and accommodating
Ideally could have been a little closer to Latin quarter
Fantastic location, you can pretty much walk anywhere, and metro station 5 minutes walk so you can get to anywhere easily :), bed was very comfortable, and staff were very polite and helpful, nice touch also was complementary drinks in afternoon which was a nice surprise considering Paris is very expensive
All good no bad points
The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and using the metro. The metro station was so close which made going anywhere we wanted to very simple! We really enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel and our room was very comfortable and clean with a great bathroom!
We really didn't have anything that we didn't like. It was everything we hoped for and more.
Staff was excellent. Helpful, cheerful and informative at any time night or day. Location was great very close to the Moulin Rouge and two subway stops with restaurants and pubs always a short walk away.
The decor is glitzy and the hotel itself is well maintained. The staffs speak very good english and they are always willing to help in any cases. The location is not prime but the neighborhood is friendly for jogging, drinking, and grocery-shopping.
We stayed at the hotel for two nights and we like the interior design of the hotel (quite cute), the space of room and the free bar at the public area with some soft drinks and snacks and the pies which are self-served from the afternoon till noon.
We don't like the noise for construction of the hotel in the afternoon. They didn't tell us before. We felt tired for walking around and we wanted to stay at the public area for relaxing and having a cup of coffee. They made a huge noise without any saying. It seems they have to enhance their service level for doing such charge.
Pretty small boutique hotel, ~15 minute walk from the Opera. Easy to get to via metro (2 station within 5 minute walking disctance) and a bike station just around the corner. Bed was extremelly comfy and sleep quality was in total, perfect! We had requested a double bed and a room with a balcony and the staff made sure we got it! The rooms had all one could need from an ipod station to a lap-top size safe, except a mini bar or fridge. Staff were friendly and descreet. There is a really nice restarant a few meters from the hotel carrying the name of the street and there are pleanty of bitros, brasseries, bars, etc about 5 minutes away.
The hotel is rather worn down and can do with at least a good paint job, especially in the common areas. The bathtub in our room wouldn't drain well and although we asked reception to take care of it on two consecutive days, it was not fixed and we didn't receive a response without asking for one. Apparently, there is no technician during the weekends, a surprising fact when hotels are busiest during weekend. Truth be told, they offered to change our room but we liked it too much to let go.
The Interior Design is soooo interesting!Great details r even better than on line pics!Love it so much! All the employees r nice & professional!Location is very convenient!Want to bring my parents to stay there again!
What I liked most was the personal and very close treatment received by the staff.
Staff very friendly, hotel is charming and stylish. The free food and drink during the day was a nice touch.
No bar or alcoholic drinks
Joyce has its own style which I woyld call modern intellectual. Book themes in rooms, modern furniture and bathrooms. Bed is very comfortable. Single rooms are small altough more than sufficient for one person. Double rooms are bigger. The staff is very friendly and responded very promptly to a noise issue with the elevator. I was given a different room and they called the lift company to come in that evening. There is a complimentary open bar for coffee, tea and softdrinks from 14.00 to 23.00. Reception area is lovely. Location great with many restaurants and cafees.
Very modern and nicely decorated throughout. Extremely clean everywhere. All the staff were very very helpful!
The friendly staff were very helpful. They had free hot and cold drinks available for free and snacks. Funky hotel with character.
We appreciated the cleanliness and comfort and attention to detail. The staff were helpful and courteous at all times. The hotel itself had a charm of its own. The location was excellent with the Gare De Nord within walking distance, although those with large suitcases may like to take a taxi or bus, and the metro St.Georges near to the hotel. All ideal for exploring Paris.
The staff were more accommodating than anything I've yet experienced. Going beyond their call of duty. The location is superb as we were surrounded by wonderful top French bistros and quaint eateries and are within walking distance of the the wonderful shopping areas. Metro around the corner. Comfortable beds and large bathroom making the room adequately comfortable for the week we were there. Most attractive thing about the Astotel hotels is the public area downstairs where tea, coffee and snacks are available 24 hours. It's so welcoming to come " home " and have something to drink before popping out again or retiring. I would certainly recommend this hotel.
Nothing at all
Quiet but still central Location, very clean, new and comfortable rooms. Bathroom very well equipped Great Hotel for a city trip
Great location- not touristy but still lots of life in the neighborhood. Loved the decor in the entire hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful at all times. Room was very comfortable. Delicious breakfast and free snacks all afternoon and evening! Can't wait to go back.
The only thing I could say would be the tiny elevator. I think this would be a problem for some, but I always take the stairs so it didn't bother me.
Staff is so friendly . Location is perfect.Decoration is good.
