Quite expensive

The building is an old convenant. The furniture throughout the hotel is fabulous (old and solid but not glamourous), the burgeois style of the Fin de Siecle. Nice and confortable rooms. The whole hotel remembers of the Spanish Paradores, with its old stone walls. Very quiet. Excellent located for city visit. Faboulous restaurant. Realy one of the best in the regon.

there is no elevator for first floor

We chose the hotel because it's a wonderful historic building with courtyard garden. The room was luxurious and comfortable. Location on the edge of Arles was great.

The staff at the hotel was first rate from the moment we arrived until we checked out. The were always friendly and willing to answer questions and provide advice on what to see, restaurants and so on.The location couldn't have been better for exporling Areles and attending the festival events that were taking place while we were there. The courtyard was a nice place for a quiet lunch which we bought at the nearby boulangerie.The pool area and the pool itself were probably the cleanest we have experienced over our years of travelling.

The hotel was lovely,the location good, rooms nice.

The staff were very snooty, it was an effort to get a smile out of them, they were not tourist friendly. The wait staff especially.

The location is very convenient.

The decor is looking tired and in need of a renovation. Large lobby seating area, but nothing to draw people to stay in the lobby and visit.

Supposedly sound proofed rooms, but certainly not as noise suppressed as they could be, room to room.

We had been recommended this hotel by friends who yoused to live in Arles, some 30 odd years ago. In my opinion the hotel has not moved on. Small room, small bed, dirty line along bottom of shower. "Heated" swimming pool colder than my pool at home. Everything overpriced, including the room. Breakfast 20 euro pp. Restaurant pricey and empty. A whisky in the bar 12 euros. On check out told Front of House Manager wanted to speak to me, receptionist went to fetch him, then came back prepared and gave me my bill, no sign of manager so we paid and left. I have emailed the Hotel, but as yet have had no reply. Would not stay again.

The historical appearance of Hotel Cesar attracted me. It needs an uplift but the location was great and the rest of it was acceptable.

The bathroom. THe toilet did not flush properly. Decor was outdated. Breakfast and dinner did not seem appetizing due to cost.

Beautifull hotel in the heart of Arles. Very helpfull personnel and comfort rooms. Hotel is very elegante and we ll definetely remember it;) the restaurant is worth trying, and crepes are a true gourmanic experience..

Beautiful building, spacious public rooms

Very small bedroom for the price. Generally over priced hotel. Poor breakfast service - a hotel of this standard should have at least coffee and tea served at the table. Parking should not be charged extra.

Convenient and quiet in a central location.

The hotel dining room offering of french cuisine was not memorable relative to other meals in the same price range we enjoyed in France.

The location was convenient and it has an interesting history as a former convent. The staff was accommodating and gave a discount when we indicated the breakfast did not meet our expectations.

No air conditioning and it was warm. Needs a better breakfast for a 20 euro price.

Historic venue, nice staff and valet parking made getting in and out of there very easy.

Elegant hotel. Doorman/porter very helpful with luggage and parking car. Great location near the Roman Theatre and easy walking to Roman Coliseum.

Séjour parfait excellente prestation, lieu splendide, accueil et personnels compétents et sympatiques, petits dejeuners de qualité, très jolie chambre, prix correct, emplacement idéal.

Výborná kvalita i ochota personálu. Velmi dobré umístění. Snadné parkování.

V případě, že není parkovací místo před hotelem, je nutno připlatit za garáž.
