I loved this hotel and was sad to leave it. The staff member who greeted me was very nice/friendly. The building itself is nestled in a quaint area, but is truly modern and feels like you are treating yourself. The room I was in was small but felt very efficient, and I can't even explain how cool the design was. The room was wrapped in such a way where every square inch was designed with thought. It was technologically very advanced (the lights fade on when you put your key card in a slot) but no worries, the handsome and friendly staff member walks you to your room to show you how everything works. I hope I can stay here again someday.
There was a little bit of noise from the outside street level, but I believe most small hotels in Paris have this issue.
The everywhere elegant simplicity and understatement, the courteous and ever helpful staff who clearly were happy to be there too, the place had a serene energy and relaxing was made so easy...the refined and contemporary design is exceptional.....the place is a treasure.
Loved everything about this hotel
Good location near Arts et Metiers metro and in fascinating bag wholesalers quartier. Attractive, artistically decorated hotel with all essential mod cons (even a nail file in the complimentary kit). Attentive staff, always on duty.
Nothing comes to mind
The staff were exceptional, friendly, warm, welcoming and helpful. While the rooms were small (we had to extend our stay by a night due to the Air France Strike and thus had 2 different rooms), they were bright, very well organized, and incredibly comfortable. We preferred our room on the 6th floor to where we stayed the last night on the 8th of the main building. Whatever we needed the front desk was there to help, be it asking the cleaning lady to come later in the day to an iron and ironing board. Everyone was so polite and helpful, and the bar/breakfast area was beautiful, calm and lovely to spend time in day or night.
The room design and theb hotels location
No view, but you cant have everything
Stylish/intimate hotel Fun, Eclectic neighborhood Great bar at hotel- fairly priced delicious breakfast in charming courtyard.Excellent coffee. Clever designed small rooms Superb attention to detail Very quiet for a good nights sleep. Go to Rose Bakery for delicious quiche (served at lunch)
Not the most convenient to metro stations.
-very friendly staff, always helpful -went out of their way to make our experience pleasant & perfect
The stay was too short!
Beautiful rooms with modern conveniences. Friendly and helpful staff. Great location. In central paris.
Friendly and helpful staff. Special small hotel with its own character, unique, modern, arty, cool. Rooms small but well designed and tasteful. Walk in shower Superb breakfast, well worth the cost given the fresh buffet when compared with cost of eating elsewhere.
Street it is situated is a little run down. However, Le Marais is a great district to base your stay in Paris.
great design, very quiet and private. staff was friendly and personable. we have been to Paris many times and this is by far the favorite place we have stayed. highly recommended.
All the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It was easy walking distance to the Metro and shops and restaurants.
Did not stay long enough in Parus.
Close to several subway stations and walking distances from Notre Damme, Pompidou, Louvre. Great staff, english sponken, very friendly and ready to help what you need. Beautifull room and very modern.
The breakfast is overpriced. but there's a lot of options close.
Very clean, modern, excellent service, perfect location.
Room was gorgeous, breakfast/bar area lovely. Staff helpful
Noisy - I could hear the people upstairs - earplugs helped. No kettle. I would prefer more services for the price I paid
Nice and quiet design hotel - shower with Molton Brown shampoo and body wash, Exclusive breakfast (Euro 19), the balcony (room nr. 12), Nice restaurants in walking distance
No extra space for the suitcases.
The hipster staff was helpful and friendly. Good location, easy walk to metro and local restaurants. The room was comfortable and clean, very modern- almost 'pod' like. Small bar was a nice place to have a drink at the end of the day. Would definitely stay again.
The elevator was broken on the day I checked out, wrestling my luggage down the steep and ancient stairwell was an experience.
Excellent staff in all areas - reception extremely helpful .Great rooms and lovely internal garden courtyard with wine tastings. Location in middle of Bordeaux but on a quite street.
Can't really think of anything
As far as we're concerned and until further notice, this is the place to stay in Paris. The Haute Marais is where's it's at - very cool boutiques, restaurants, and off the tourist circuit. The staff here is awesome and very accommodating. The design and furnishings were all top notch - we stayed in one of the Hi-Mac rooms and had a beautiful view of Sacre-Coeur in the distance. Very memorable experience and we hope to be back!
stuff is great!!! Great location.
location of the shower. you can not go out to the balcony when the curtain closed. I guess the room designed for single or couple in honeymoon :)
We were told that breakfast is served every morning from such and such but the staff forgot to mention not only it's extra but alot extra. When I asked for only a glass of oj the last morning I was charged $8 euro! Prices are not posted anywhere for any one item
Oh above was what I didn't like
Fantastic, interesting, up-to-date and innovative design. Very good breakfast. Accommodating staff. I would stay there again.
Not that central to shopping or eating, unless you are into handbags (the block is handbag and leathergoods central). Not too long a walk to other places, though.
incredibly friendly service; quiet, small, boutique hotel feel; fantastic location; overall a great experience
rooms were a bit small - worked okay for us since we were there only five days - if we stayed longer, we most likely would have selected a larger room
