The Hotel Staff are very welcoming. The hotel is clean and also quit even though it is located on a corner of two pedestrian streets. The hotel is ideally located for visiting the new and old Lille, right on the high street which is excellent for shopping as there is a great choice of high street stores and independent boutiques. It is only a 10 min walk from both main stations and just outside the Metro. There is a parking nearby which is €16 for the day. The hotel decor is neutral and modern. The only minus point was that in the room which we rented the bathroom door was a sliding door which actually did not shut completely due to a gap between the door and wall (as often with sliding doors). This is fine if travelling alone but if you are travelling with Friend then privacy will be a problem! |

Second over-night stay in a fortnight! I had a different room this time (overlooking rue to Bethune) and the sound-proofing was much better than in the rooms I've stayed in previously (which faced Place Rihour). The room was clean and comfortable as per previous stays. After reading other reviews, I have to agree that the room is quite sparsely decorated. If two people stayed in a room, who would get to sit on the one chair provided?! For me, the lighting was too dim for doing work and/or reading in bed. |

I stayed at this hotel 20 months ago when it was newly renovated. My room this time was as attractive and comfortable as it had been then. The receptionist was pleasant and helpful. The hotel's location (city centre) and access to the train stations (Lille Europe 10 mins on foot, Lille Flandres 5 mins) are great. As before, I didn't find the sound proofing adequate to block out the very early (before 7 am) noise made by the garbage trucks that drive through the normally pedestrian area. The bathroom seemed to lack heating, making it a little cold in the morning. |

The staff was very attentious, our room (the special one) was excellent. The hotel is in the very middle of the old town, close to the restaurants (with special discounts to the hotel guests). But nothing is perfect: there was no elevator (nothing too serious, because we were on the 1st floor). I would recommend to a friend. |

We were amazed to find it was so central and very close to the Eurostar which lengthened our time in Lille. No, we found the staff very friendly and helpful. |

the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. The room we had on the top floor had a nice view over the city roof tops and was very light with windows on 3 sides. The bathroom was clean. |

The hotel is situated in a good position for looking around the shops and sites of Lille, and is within walking distance from the railway stations. The lack of a lift means that anyone with a room on the upper floors has several sets of stairs to climb. |
