staff, standard of accommodation Our request for a third bed in one of our rooms, on the original booking and separately by email to the hotel was ignored, and there was no room for them to put one in the room we had been allotted. The hotel was full and they could not offer an alternative room - they were very helpful in providing us with extra bedding but my son did have to sleep on the floor. |

Even though the rooms are small, it's very nice to stay there. Tip: have breakfast on the Place Rihour (Pain Quotidien). |

The location was great and the bed was extremely comfortable. The walls are paper thin and you can hear all the noise that your neighbours are making. The shower was cold, and the heating didn't work. Co-incidentally, another British family with the same name as us was also booked in on the same night and this caused plenty of confusion with the reception staff!! |

Hotel was in the middle of the pedestrian mall, and was walking distance to many restaurants and major attractions in Lille. The staff went above and beyond to make my stay pleasant. It is within sight of Rihour metro stop which was extremely convenient. Overall, it was a very good value for the money. Breakfast is adequate, but a bit overpriced I think. No elevator (that I saw), and reception is up one flight of steps from the street, and rooms start two flights of steps from the street. This is kind of typical in Europe and is not a complaint, but will be a little surprising to travelers from the U.S. Just be warned. |

The hotel is clean and very central. Instructions for the taps in the bathtube are necessary - eventhough this may sound strange |

The hotel is in a great location. Helpfulness of staff was outstanding when our car got locked in the multi storey car park! A young lady at the hotel helped us rebook our ferry and although we had not planned to stay another night in Lille it was the better night out of the two! |

It was in a fantastic location and really close to everything, especially the tourist office and Metro station. Although everything is close enough to walk to so save your money & spend it on Waffles & pancakes instead!! I thought breakfast was expensive at 8 Euor's per person & although it was always fresh there wasn't much choice. |

We liked the room which was renovated en looked very nice. One day there were no croissants left when we arrived at breakfast; after a few minutes some extra croissants were delivered! One day there was no cleaning at all. |

A nice clean and comfortable little hotel in the centre of Lille. Excellent value for money and highly recommended if you are on a budget. Worth considering that there is no lift if you have lots of / heavy baggage. |

It is right in the middle of the city center. Really down town Lille close to bars, restaurants, shops and a metro station. Breakfast is kind of expensive for what you get. |

First, the hotel is on a shopping street, which is very convenient. Second, stuff was really welcoming. Third, room was not so big, but cosy with a nice view and a really excellent bed. Even weather was great!!! there isn't any lift so it shouldn't be advised to aged people. |

The hotel is right in the middle of the center of town. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Though the room was small the bed was large and comfortable. The bathroom was similarly small, but with good appointments. Though the internet was free the hotel blocked any sort of chat or video chat software (such as Skype). Also, perhaps this was just the season and my particular room, but there was a mosquito problem and I was bitten several times. There were also dead mosquitoes on the ceiling and walls which was rather off-putting. I stayed for a week and my room was never vacuumed or my sheets changed. The breakfast was scant for the money. |
