Friendly staff and closeness to city amenities including old part of town

Lots of stairs with no lift

The location was brilliant, right in the centre so everything was nearby. staff were helpful and friendly.

Room was tiny. could barely fit our suitcases in. bathroom door did not shut properly so vey little privacy!

English speaking friendly staff. Convinient location.

Very friendly and helpful staff, clean room, excellent location middle of the commercial part of the city, hotel gives good discount on the 24h parking.

This double room was very small and there were no door on the bathroom.

Friendly helpful staff from the moment I arrived. Comfortable room (ready when I arrived soon after midday), clean room and bathroom with complimentary shampoo etc. I had a quiet room at the back so wasn't disturbed. Great location, just a minute from the central square and tourist office. Also about 10-15 minutes walk from the main stations. Computer for internet access (I didn't use wifi) in comfy lounge.

Can't think of much but breakfast seemed rather expensive at 9 Euros so didn't have this.

The location was central to everything, 10-minute walk to the train stations and right in the heart of the shopping area/old-town.

Our room faced on to the main shopping street and there was a lot of noise through the windows. At night (it was the weekend) we were regularly awoken by party-goers singing and shouting as they walked past. The sound-proofing definitely needs improving.

that we had to pay extra for coffee in our room on day 2. Room was clean but shabby. Curtain not fixed properly.Toilet bowl moved when used. Shower cubicle needed attention.

Staff was very friendly and gave a lot of advice. We got discount for the parking garage. The location of the hotel is very central, close by all the tourist attractions and shopping district.

friendly and very helpful staff. No need to go to the visitor center, the staff explained us in 15 min where to go and how, providing all the necessary maps and documentations.

The location was excellent, the staff friendly and the room was clean.

The room was a little small and there was not a great deal of choice with the breakfast.

Very good, convenient location, just 2-3 minutes from the city center and Grand Place and 15 minutes walk from the Exhibition Center (Lille Grand Palace). If you want to see the City and pay resonably - take it. Exceptionaly friendly staff, very nice and helpfull. 8 eu for good breakfast.

Little rooms - do not take this hotel if you really need space. No lift - but on the other hand it is only 2 floor and they carried our laguage up.

Fabulous location, super-friendly staff, lovely room with comfortable bed, superb views, tv, aircon, and tea & coffee maker.

A bit noisy outside at night but that is the inevitable downside of a fabulous location and we thought as much when we booked. The 1200 checkout makes up for lost sleep though!

The room smelt a bit unpleasant due to drainage problems in the locality. It was noisy outside during the night. The hotel was tricky to find due to the fact that the entrance is on a side street off the Rue De Bethune.

Location, location, location!! Out of the front door and straight into city life. Very friendly, helpful staff. Car park only 200 metres from the hotel. Parked it and left it.

No room in the toilet to swing a rat let alone a cat!

The hotel was located centrally, was clean, comfortable and very reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast wasn't bad for the price. Would stay there again.

No lift available so if you're unfortunate to be located on the third floor, you sure know it after walking up three floors (via a spirall staircase) with or without luggage. The rooms are quite small so if space is an issue be sure to select a premium room.

Electronic key did not work on room but staff were always aware and opened the door for us immediately
