Hotel Kanaï  

Замечательный отельчик в самом центре - 100м до центральной площади. Рядом основные достопримечательности, магазины, рестораны... Очень гостеприимный и приятный персонал, все говорят по-английски. Своей парковки нет, но есть скидки на паркинге ближайшего ТЦ. Все новое. Цифровое кабельное ТВ и ЖК-телефизор. WiFi в холле отлично, но в номере проводной почему-то не заработал.

Лифта нет, но портье нам бесплатно донес чемоданы на 3й этаж прямо в наш номер. Оч.скромный завтрак - ну так Франция же))). Даже по навигатору подъехать на авто сложно (пешеходная зона), но мы заехали на ближайший паркинг в ТЦ на этой же улице и как оказалось - именно в тот, где у отеля скидки.

Friendly reception staff and central location in old Lille, close to shops and restaurants. Room was comfortable and clean.

The hotel is in a pedestrianised area but this makes it surprisingly noisy at night, especially at the weekend, as groups of people wander past in high spirits! Rooms at the back are probably quieter.

Excellent location, right in the centre. Very close to restaurants, bars, and the big Euralille shopping centre. Parking nearby. Small rooms, but very clean and comfy.

If you need an escalator (e.g. disabled people): Kanai doesn't have one.

Location brilliant. Just few metres from Xmas market and Grand Place. Typical 2 star hotel. Booked a superior room. Would have been interested to see a standard room as there was nothing really superior about it. Not even a kettle. However room and bathroom were very clean, which is the main thing and as we only stayed one night, it was fine. Would recommend it for the location, but apart from that, may be better getting a more expensive hotel with more facilities.

On check out the receptionist didnt speak English and couldnt explain why we were charged more that the 90 euros on the booking. She asked for 190, but a cleaner walked past and explained it was an additional amount of a couple of euros for some tax or another. It would have been very difficult to settle if the cleaner had not been there.

A nice hotel, in the city center. Friendly staff, great location, clean rooms. Perfect for a short stay in Lille. The breakfast is ok (I only missed freshly squized orange juice).

The location of the hotel was right in the heart of the City making it easy to get around. The staff were very helpful and obliging - letting us leave our baggage on their premises even though we had to check out.

The rooms were very compact - there really wasn't room to hang up clothes as the wardrobe was small in height. There wasn't much room to maneouvre around the room as the bed took up all the space. I would only recommend this hotel if people were staying for a couple of night.

No elevetor, three floor hotel, top floor access by stairs. Do not leave your laptop/luggage with concierge ..not very safe as it is kept in a room accessible to all....they mean well but do have to leave this area and at that time anything can be taken..not safe. Bathroom is great, shower wonderful...but..if you are overweight, the entry into the shower area is small...so you may not be able to sqeeze in...just a warning for the heavier travellers.

There is no elevator, luggage have to be carried up on stairs for two stories which is not very practical

When you open a window its to noisy the breakfast erea is to cramped I am disabled there is no lift no english channels on tv no kettle to make any drinks sunday evening I could not get any sleep it was like sleeping next to a council lorry depot when departing no members of staff spoke english the shower cubicles are not very disabled friendly

It wasn't the easiest to find as it was actually located on Rue de Bethune butvery near it. So made it difficult to find if using a Tom Tom or street signs

We were most impressed by the hotel & the young polite staff, who all spoke excellent English. We were "upgraded" as the hotel was not full, so are not sure how the "basic" room would have differed. The hotel was not easy to find but that was because we did not have a detailed map of Lille until we located the tourist office. Once we did find it , it was ideally situated for everything we needed. We would certainly stay at Hotel Kanai again if we return to Lille & would recommend it to our friends.Thank you!
