It was great finding a hotel with modern, working plumbing. The location can''t be beat. Staff very helpful. TV modern, and it had one English language channel. Worn out carpet in hallways and on stairs. They had the most wonderful Chanticleer apples in the fruitbowl the first morning, but no fresh fruit the next. Restocking would be appreciated to avoid disappointing guests who appreciate fresh fruit. |

Location. Friendly, helpful staff, who extended my booking and organised taxi pick up. Excellent breakfast. Very noisy in early morning with refuse removal and cleaning trucks below our window; however, I believe this is the price we paid for a superb location! |

City centre location was very good. The room and suite were of a good size for the purpose. The discount at the parking was helpful. Price of the room was about right. Parking is a bit far away, involving dragging luggage through the city centre. |

Finally I found a hotel in France, where it wasn't a burder for the personal, to speak in foreign language. I also liked the small thoughtfullnesses: cake, caffee and tea in the room, maps in the reception and smile from the personal etc. |

Courtyard room was fun; quiet with renovated windows; new fire alarm malfunctioned while there ruining our one night stay; excellent continental breakfast (on house for our fire alarm woes); room was small, but worked; room tastefully designed; table lamp needed replacement; hallway carpets stained and needed cleaning; would stay there again Elevator to hotel entrance floor from room did not work for us; we had to take the steps with luggage; carpet on our level was stained and worn; room interior items like table lamp not being maintained; room was very small and works for small people |

Great location, and nice room. Friendly staff. It's not a complaint, but there are two hotels very close by with similar names, and some photos I'd seen were not clearly attributed, so just make sure you know which one you are going to! |

Central location and helpfulness of the desk staff about parking, directions and restaurant recommendations Confusion of name on the confirmation with another nearby hotel called the Palais des Papes (your sign is just Kyriad) and difficulty getting to the pedestrian zone location with a car. Instructions on the confirmation about which city gate to which parking lot would have been very helpful |

Friendly service. Simple, clean and spacious room with no cigarette smoke smell. Tea and coffee making facilities. Quiet room facing the back lightwell. Brightly lit and well maintained bathroom where the shower cubicle doesn't splash water out. The palace is 1 minute away Could hear neighbour's shower at 6.30am in the morning |

The location was excellent. There was a very strong, unpleasant smell throughout the hotel. Luckily it wasn't too strong in the room itself, but we had to hold our breath every time we attempted to use the lift or walk up/down the stairs. |

I stayed here for two nights in August 2009 and the hotel is a good choice for a short visit to Avignon if you do not wish to spend too much on accommodation. And yes, the location is deffenately great. My room was a bit dark. One should also be prepared that even though there is an elevator you need to walk a few stairs. |

Room was large and spacious. Location couldn't be beaten. Even though it was right on a main square it wasn't noisy at all. |

Really close to restaurants and sights in the central city. Quiet. Friendly staff which recommended us a great french restaurant . Bed was a bit small as was room. Air con had trouble dealing with the 38 degree temperatures while we were there. |

It was a quiet,well-run, convenient hotel. They answered our requests made on our booking form positively. The air-conditioning worked very well, On some days we were unable to access the room until well after 3pm to escape the heat of the day! |
