the location was the only reason for us to stay there and in that respect was perfect. the room was absolutely fine for a couple of nights the bed was one of the most comfortable hotel bed I have slept in. it was a surprise to find tea and coffee making facility in the room, but thin plastic cups were not really suitable for hot liquids, also there was not enough milk for any more than 1 person to have a drink. the pillows were rather small and very hard for the money I thought the breakfast was a bit poor, the bread was not not cooked in the middle

We were traveling from geneva to calais and it was a perfect distance to stop overnight before getting the tunnel at 10.25 the next morning. There were 3 of us, not much spare room in the room but fine, it was clean, and perfectly adequate. The location for restaurants was ideal, and the security gate into the car park was reassuring as we had left larger pieces of luggage in the car. I would stay again, good value for money. Not really a complaint but the beds were very hard,

The bed was comfortable. The hotel was easy to see from the road and within easy reach of the motorway to Calais. There were some nice restaurants in walking distance from the hotel. One of the members of staff on reception was unsmiling and not very welcoming. One of the cabinets in the children's room was broken and the toilet flush in the same room was broken. I reported this, but nothing was done. The decor on the walls on our floor was awful.

The carpark. The location - although on a leisure park this was perfect for us as we arrived late from Calais and could still get some dinner at around 10pm. In-room tea and coffee cups were inadequate.

We got a very good price through Booking.com and had two rooms which could be arranged to be adjoining for our family of 5. Very well positioned for Calais the following morning (1 hour away). Lots of restaurants within 5 mins walk. Perfect for our stopover needs and very clean and comfortable after a week under canvas!

If you want somewhere near a bowling alley, cinema and a few restaurants this would suit you. The room was shabby. The toilet had one button missing so one had to press a plunger for the short flush. For the longer flush you had to pull the button back out to stop the water running. The pillows were minute and not supportive About 30cm x 15 cm. Nothing like the photo they have in reception with two big pillows each and a bolster! The bedspread had holes in it, very tatty. Tiny towels were provided. Breakfast was served in a dark area behind reception. So very basic and we found it a depressing experience, not what we wanted to kick off a weekend away.

"Family room" was basically two adjoining rooms on the end of the hotel with a separate door that could be closed for privacy. We really liked that. There was a foul odor throughout the entire hotel -- it smelled like sewer gas. After a while you get "used" to it but when you leave the hotel and come back it was definitely there. It made it difficult to enjoy breakfast. Also, one of the bathrooms had black mold above the shower.

Convenient stopover close to Calais for travelling through France and the near continent Hotel is based on a leisure complex with many shopping outlets and a cinema complex. As such it can be noisy into the early hours.

The hotel is ideal as a stop off pont on route to another part of France, in our case the Alps. Its clean and comfortable. There was a bad smell from one of the bathrooms. Breakfast is quite expensive so we didn't use it.

The layout of the family rooms was excellent, and the location was great for eating out without having to drive. There was also a nice bar area which we did not get the chance to use Sitting up in bed was not possible due to the design of the overhang with the lights!

“The location is good close to the a26 ideal for breaking our journey from Italy to Calais. The hotel is new; the accommodation was clean and comfortable, very good for short stay. There are several restaurants to choose from close by and the buffet breakfast provided by the hotel was excellent. Will certainly stay there again. ” Brian, Exeter |

“A one night stay - Richard and Vanessa were absolutely charming and could not do enough to make our stay enjoyable. We shared a couple of welcome drinks with them, and enjoyed learning about how they have renovated the beautiful old house - the decor is well thought out and delightful. We ate our evening meal at a small restaurant, a 10 minute walk away. A tasty breakfast cooked by Richard - a choice of continental, together with fresh scrambled eggs.” John, Radovljica |
